Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Gorgeous Tuxedo Boy Say hello to your new best friend and occasional treat! Ding Dong is a friendly, almost 14-month-old, neutered medium hair black and white tuxedo kitty. Ding Dong and his buddy, Fanta, were part of a local colony of cats in Downtown San Jose. Their caretaker noticed how friendly the boys were and helped to place them in a foster home. They have surprised us with how quickly they are adapting to house life! Ding Dong is the more human-focused of the two boy kitties. When his people spend time with them, Ding Dong is first to ask for scritches and sit in a lap.  He is very affectionate with his trusted people and loves to be brushed and petted and will roll over for belly rubs while purring contentedly. When his humans leave, he seeks connection with his foster parent's non-reactive dog. Both Ding Dong and Fanta are exploring and checking out their new toys and beds. Adventuring throughout the house is their new favorite pastime. Their foster mom tells us, "They are all over the house now and seem quite comfortable. Ding Dong and Fanta seem pretty bonded, and it would be great if they could remain together as it would certainly make the transition easier for both of them." Despite living on the street, these boys have quickly figured out that living in a home is pretty great, and each boy brings their strengths to this process. We are so proud of them both and are excited for the fun and joy they will bring to their forever home!  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 25, 2025, 3:43 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Lily must be adopted with her brother Rusty Like all kittens, RUSTY & LILY are very playful. RUSTY is super affectionate—he loves following his foster mom everywhere and planting kisses on her nose! LILY is a little shy and holds back more compared to her brother. It takes her some time to warm up, but as soon as she does, she will be sleeping next to you and purring non-stop in her sleep ! All in all, RUSTY & LILY are wonderful kittens and will make delightful companions.   If you're interested in meeting this adorable kitten, please complete an online adoption application or reach out to us via email at info@ibokrescue.org. All of our kitties are spayed/neutered, up to date on their vaccinations, dewormed, deflead and microchipped prior to being delivered to their loving forever home. All of our kittens are only available for adoption in pairs as it is our policy not to place kittens under six months of age in a forever home without another same aged kitten. We also do not place kittens older than six months into homes where there is currently not another young cat in residence. Most of our kittens are in 'bonded pairs' or bonded with their littermates. We reserve the right not to separate bonded pairs or place kittens individually. The happiness and quality of life for our kittens is our top priority. =^..^=Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 21, 2025, 8:31 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet George, the Heartthrob Kitty! This little furball is looking for a forever home to call his own. George is a shy guy at first, but once he warms up to you, he'll be your purring companion. He loves to play with his sister and other feline friends, chasing them around and engaging in playful wrestling matches. George is also a big fan of snuggles and cuddles. He'll often climb into your lap or curl up in his bed with his sister, purring contentedly. He's a bit of a Houdini, though, and loves to hide in unlikely spots, so be prepared for some surprises! While George may be initially shy, but  he's a quick learner and will soon be begging for your attention. He's a playful, affectionate, and loving cat who is sure to bring joy to any home.George is bonded with his sister Gracie and they will be adopted together. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Sweet Oliver - affectionately call Ollie BearTHIS animal listing is a COURTESY LISTING - not a 13th St Cat Rescue animal.See information about whom to contact in bio THANK YOU Ollie is one chill dude and he is agreeable and super sweet with ALL of my existing cats and even the fiesty, rambunctious foster kitties! Every single one of them. Nothing seems to faze him, so I think he’s be just fine with a dog. Honestly, probably wouldn’t even give a hoot.   He loves food, treats, cheek rubs and comfy spots!   Put simply, Ollie is a big ol’ sweet chubby Teddy Bear. Oliver, who I affectionately call Ollie Bear, deserve the long heathy life that his last (uneducated) owner tried the cut short (he is an FIV+ cat) , which is really no big deal, contact me and we can discuss. He available for Adoption and Meet & Greets. Contact: denisebythesea@icloud.com; 408-410-5268 to adopt. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact Janice (janice.frazier@sbcglobal.net) for more information about this pet. Online Adoption Application › Handsome Vocal boy!Oh, my gosh, Gary is a wonderful cat. He comes when you call, he is extremely outgoing. Loves people, and is adventuresome. And he is just the cutest guy. There are a couple of drawbacks though. He is very talkative, so you have to like that in a cat.He has tested positive for FeLV so he does need to stay inside. He is healthy at this point and very easy to take care of. If you're looking for a single companion cat, you couldn't ask for a greater cat. He likes to have some supervised outdoor time, because he has been outside in the past; his coming when you call makes backyard time really easy to provide, he just runs back in to you! Please consider Gary - he deserves a real home! Contact us for more information on FeLV cats.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. To Adopt one of our Cats or Kittens, please fill out an Online Adoption Application on our website  https://www.13thstcats.org/info/adoption If the animal bio says that they are a "Courtesy Listing", the contact information will be included in the animal bio for you to reach out to them directly. Thank you for wanting to Adopt! -------------- 13thstcats.org is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit, No-Kill Rescue Group based in San Jose. We try our best to match our cats to the perfect homes, and match them based on their personalities, not their looks. Adoptions are not done on a first come, first serve basis, rather in the order of what homes are the right match for that particular cat February 15, 2025, 1:23 pm
