Story
God's Dogs Rescue plus Kitties does NOT transport any cats or kittens in or out of the state of Texas. It is too stressful for the cats or kittens to be transported long distances, especially when enclosed in a vehicle containing dogs and puppies. Thank you for your understanding. Hi there! My name is Peppa Pig and no I am not a pig. Although I was pretty round when I came into my foster home. Inside of 24 hours, I popped out 6 babies and then after a few weeks, if that wasn't enough headaches...i mean little darlings to look after, I inherited a couple more to feed and look after. Honestly, I think I was doing enough before the last 2 came along but they are all weaned now and can find therir own homes. That means I get to relax now too and find my forever home too. Let me tell you about me. I was technically a stray as I was living outside, but I was friendly so perhaps I wasn't always an outside cat. I have adapted to having air conditioning and meals on time and in bowls very well and would not like to go back to living rough in the wilds of San Antonio. I am friendly and like to rub up against you when I am hungry, thirsty, want to be petted or just for the heck of it. I like having people around and I purr, purr, purr. I am about a year and a half old, and am ready for my forever home. My adoption fee is only $100 and I am fixed, microchipped and current on all of my needed vaccinations.

Story
Meet Thor a handsome 8-month-old torbie kitten who has had quite the journey. Before being trapped and brought to safety just before a snowstorm, Thor and his family were living on their feeder’s back patio, spending part of their time in the woods or on a nearby farm. Thor was one of the more challenging kittens to catch, requiring patience and determination from both his dedicated feeder and one of our volunteers. His two sisters, who were trapped as young kittens, spent time in a foster home and have since been adopted into loving homes.Thor is a cautious and observant guy who prefers to keep his distance, watching people from afar. He recently moved into a foster home where he can adjust to indoor living and continue learning to trust humans at his own pace. He is playful, enjoys her toys, and loves engaging with his surroundings. Thor is a wonderful conversationalist, often responding with meows when spoken to, adding a touch of charm to his personality. With time and patience, he will accept gentle pets if approached slowly and calmly.Tempest will need a family who understands her cautious nature and is willing to give her the space and time she needs to build confidence. Once she feels safe, she will undoubtedly show her affectionate side. Her father, Bubbie (also known as Hercules), was recently trapped and brought to the shelter, and we are hopeful that her mother, who is expecting another litter of kittens, will soon join them out of the cold. If you have the patience and love to offer, Tempest could be the perfect companion. Could you be the one to give her the warm, loving home she truly deserves? This cat is waiting for it's Forever Home! Story
Meet the magical 1 year old Zatanna. This beautiful girl is sweet and playful and will make a wonderful companion. She can be a little shy at first but she is quick to warm up and is always ready to play with a wand toy. Zatanna will always be up for a cuddle session after playtime and will make a purrfect companion. She was found as a local friendly stray and she does have a little bit of instability due to some minor tremors she has but it doesn't stop her from playing, jumping and snuggling. If you think Zatanna could be meant for you, please contact michelle@ourcompanions.org or 860-242-9999 ext. 302 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~All of the pets promoted by Our Companions Animal Rescue are located in CT. Story
Moon is a gorgeous 1.5 year old black male cat with the tiniest white spot on his chest. He has a beautiful medium length coat which is silky and smooth to the touch.  Moon was surrendered to the rescue when his owner had a change of living situation and could no longer keep him :( We promised Moon's owner that we would find the perfect home for him. Up until Moon came to us, he only knew one person in his life as he lived in a very quiet home. Being at the rescue was a big shock to him and it was quickly discovered that Moon is very scared of the other cats.  Right now, he is in a foster home where he has his own space. He is still a little hesitant but only after a few days he is now actively seeking out pets. It is amazing to hear him purr because he is so happy. He enjoys being brushed which is a good thing because his future owner will have to brush him regularly. Moon is still learning about playing but has shown interest in a laser pointer and toys with bells.  Moon loves squeeze treats...they are definitely one of the ways to his heart. We believe that Moon would be better in quiet home without young children and no other animals where his owners spoil him with love and treats.  Cats are negative for FelV/FIV, receive age-appropriate vaccines and deworming, are spayed/neutered and are microchipped (free lifetime registration with adoption). All of our pets go home with a "Go Home Goody Bag" that includes a starter supply of food, treats, toys, and a voucher for a free month of pet insurance from Trupanion. Location: Bolton, CTAdoption Fee: $250 ##2294243##
