Story
Fluffy & Sweet Pea were found on the Pinellas Bike Trail and were constantly seeking affection from the people nearby, so a concerned citizen brought them to CJ Paws to find a home where they will be showered with love! Since they were used to being outside, their ideal home would be one with a screened in catio where they can sunbathe and feel like they are still outside but will be safe from predators and never have to worry about finding their own food again. *** To apply to adopt one of our animals, please go to our website, http://www.cjpaws.org and visit the Adoptions page. *** Pets can be viewed by appointment only and an approved application is required to make an appointment to meet one of our animals. It can take up to 24 hours to respond to your application and an additional 1-2 business days to have your application approved. Not all applications will be approved. Applications that are incomplete will not be approved. Please include all veterinary information, as we will be contacting your veterinarian. If you have never had a pet before and thus do not have an established vet either in the area or in an area you previously lived in, we recommend adopting from your local Animal Services. Our adoption fee covers spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, monthly flea medication while in our rescue, any medications while in our rescue, an FIV/FeLV test, and the unconditional love of your new family member. Our rescue does not continue to pay for flea medication, vaccinations, deworming, or any other medications after the animal is adopted. All costs and fees accrued after adoption are the responsibility of the new family.

Story
Meet Spike Lee, the stylish black and white medium-haired cat rocking his summer cut. With his distinctive markings and laid-back demeanor, Spike is always the coolest cat in the room. He's Denzel Washington's partner-in-crime, sharing in their love for treats and cuddles. Spike's favorite pastime is lounging in the sun with Denzel, basking in the warmth and enjoying each other's company. When it comes to greetings, Spike prefers a friendly head bump over anything else, spreading joy and camaraderie wherever he goes. With his easygoing nature and undeniable charm, Spike Lee is the epitome of cool cat vibes. *** To apply to adopt one of our animals, please go to our website, http://www.cjpaws.org and visit the Adoptions page. *** Pets can be viewed by appointment only and an approved application is required to make an appointment to meet one of our animals. Introducing Denzel Washington, a sleek and handsome black medium-haired cat with an undeniable charisma. He's best buds with Spike Lee, another cat, and they're inseparable. Story
We love Papi very much and do not want to let him go but we just had a baby and Papi is best with a single person. Papi was raised by me and lived alone as I was always gone for work for extended periods of time. My wife and I moved in together and Papi started to get stressed out. To the point it was causing him health issues. It was manageable until our son was born- Papi couldn't take the constant guests and screaming from the baby. To put it simply, Papi needs to be in a chill quiet environment with a single person. Right now he is living with my Mom and couldn't be happier. My Mom is single and lives in a quiet area. I visit Papi regularly but he doesn't always come out as he is trusting my Mom now. He is very furry, soft, and affectionate and loves to sleep next to someone at night. He will cuddle you when you sit to watch TV and when you're in the kitchen. I honestly love this cat but cannot have him in this busy house. Looking for someone to give Papi a good home.

Story
We love Papi but he can't be with us anymore since our son was born. I've had Papi for 6 years and when I adopted Papi as a kitten he was raised with another kitten in a quiet house where I was always gone for work. I met my wife and we moved in together and that's where Papis stress started. When the baby was born and screaming all nigh plus constant gusts for the baby- Papi litterally had to be taken to the vet multiple times for UTI's and once for a crystal - which we had removed. We love him but the vet told us this isn't the place for him. He is currently at my Mom's apartment and he is happy and healthy in a quiet environment. My Mom lives alone and has a dog.
