Story
Teddie (DOB: 10/20/23) started out as gray and white; his gray is slowly turning black so he's more of a "charcoal" color. He was found with his siblings (since adopted) on Thanksgiving day. They had lost track of their mom and were crying, cold, dehydrated and hungry. The very next day, their mother, Andraya, (Seal Point Snowshoe Siamese) was found in the same spot crying for her babies! We were so happy to see them reunited. But we had our work cut out for us. The babies were less than half their normal weight and their temperatures were 8-10 degrees below normal. Today, they are strong and healthy and happy and purry, playful kittens. Teddy is a little on the shy side but loves to be petted. He is affectionate, friendly, playful and gentle. DOB: 10/28/23

Story
Chandler and his siblings, Mello and Phoebe, were rescued from a hoarder with over 400 cats and many dogs. When our rescue partner brought them to us in April, 2024, they were frightened, covered in fleas and ringworm, malnourished, full of coccidia and dehydrated. They have since been completely cured and have put on the right amount of weight for their age. Chandler's two sisters have been adopted, and now it's his turn! Chandler is a handsome black and white short hair Tabby who has a sweet and gentle disposition. He loves to play and chase his friends around the nursery. He's still a bit shy, but once he knows he can trust you, he will come to you and request attention. DOB: 4/15/24

Story
Phoenix, along with his six siblings, were born to a "community cat." Their mom, Minx, a Lilac Point Siamese, was being fed with others but not spayed. When she turned up pregnant, the feeder waited until she was ready to deliver before he contacted us. Since Minx was clearly about to give birth, we set her up in our nursery. Sure enough, the very next day, she delivered seven babies. Their foster mom was present for the births, and it's a good thing! Minx had three breach babies on March 26th. On April 14th, we took in an orphaned single kitten of the same age. This little family accepted "Kimba" as one of their own. Minx raised all eight babies with such love and devotion that we are hoping she can be adopted with a pair of her littles. Phoenix has a special way of looking at his foster mom - with such trust and love it melts her heart. He is a very gentle, playful and loving kitten who loves to be held. He is a domestic medium hair with the most beautiful coloring. The white hairs interspersed with the black give him a salt and pepper appearance. It is our policy that kittens are adopted in pairs. Phoenix is especially fond of his "twin," Elijah, but he'd be happy to go to his together forever home with any of his siblings, his mom or friends. DOB: 3/28/24

Story
Mufasa got his name, because, well, look at him! He's clearly the king! He's a benevolent king and enjoys it when his subjects show him the adoration that he knows befits him. He loves pets and scratches and snacks! Mufasa was dumped in a box outside our veterinarian's office with a wound to his back foot. We don't know if Scar was somehow behind what happened, but either way we knew we had to help get his majesty back to full health. So that's what we did, and he's healed and just waiting for a home.

Story
Rex is a gorgeous fluffy, American bobtail mix. He's super friendly and loving. All he wants is to be petted or brushed. He loves people and will climb in your lap in a heartbeat. He also loves to play! He gets along with other cats too! Rex came to us from Taylor County, Fl which was hit with three hurricanes in just over a year. They needed some help, so we gladly took this wonderful boy into our shelter. When Rex came to us, one of his eyes was looking ugly - likely from a prior infection. We got him to our veterinarian who determined that the best option was to remove his eye. It’s healed now, doesn’t need further treatment and he gets around fine with one eye. Rex was adopted from us, but sadly has recently found his way back to us. Our friends at Pinellas County Animal Services, where he was brought after he was found on the street, reached out to us since his microchip was still registered to us. We tried contacting the adopters and so did Pinellas County Animal Services, but the adopters never responded to any of the attempts to reach them. So once his stray hold was up, we took him back in our care. We don’t know exactly what happened to Rex or how he ended up on the streets, but he’s safe with us now. Despite all he’s been through, he is still so sweet and loving! This boy truly deserves a FOREVER home where he can relax and get and give love!

Story
Meet Spartapuss The Mighty Warrior (with a Tiny Inhaler)! Some cats are born into greatness. Others, like Spartapuss, wander into it, literally. Found outside feeling pretty crummy, this brave little soldier has fought his way back to health and is now ready to conquer his biggest battle yet: finding his forever home! Now, Spartapuss does have feline asthma, which means his lungs prefer drama over efficiency. But don’t worry, it’s manageable with vet care, and he’s got the heart of a lion (just with a slightly wheezy roar). He may need occasional meds or an inhaler, but honestly, he makes it look downright heroic. Despite his warrior name, Spartapuss is really just a big softie. He loves pets, enjoys attention, and won’t mind if you pick him up like the champion he is. So if you’re looking for a cat who’s both mighty and cuddly, Spartapuss is ready to march right into your heart and maybe nap there for a while. Adopt him today!

Story
Meet Rufus & Chester! Rufus and Chester were part of the group of four cats cruelly dumped in a neighborhood, left scared and confused. When they were rescued, they were covered in fleas and unsure of what was happening, but despite their fear, these two have remained incredibly sweet. Both boys are still adjusting to shelter life and can be a bit timid, but they allow gentle handling and seem to find comfort in quiet companionship. They would thrive in a calm, patient home where they can feel safe and finally relax. While they would love to be adopted together, they’d also do well with their friend Tuna or another kind and understanding kitty companion. If you have a peaceful home and a heart ready to help them heal, Rufus and Chester just might be the perfect match for you!
