Story
Teddie (DOB: 10/20/23) started out as gray and white; his gray is slowly turning black so he's more of a "charcoal" color. He was found with his siblings (since adopted) on Thanksgiving day. They had lost track of their mom and were crying, cold, dehydrated and hungry. The very next day, their mother, Andraya, (Seal Point Snowshoe Siamese) was found in the same spot crying for her babies! We were so happy to see them reunited. But we had our work cut out for us. The babies were less than half their normal weight and their temperatures were 8-10 degrees below normal. Today, they are strong and healthy and happy and purry, playful kittens. Teddy is a little on the shy side but loves to be petted. He is affectionate, friendly, playful and gentle. DOB: 10/28/23

Story
Chandler and his siblings, Mello and Phoebe, were rescued from a hoarder with over 400 cats and many dogs. When our rescue partner brought them to us, they were frightened, covered in fleas and ringworm, malnourished and dehydrated. They have since been cured of the ringworm and have put on the right amount of weight for their age. As are all our kitties, they are tested negative for kitty diseases, spayed and neutered, parasite free, vaccinated and microchipped. Today they are healthy, happy and looking forward to life in their forever home. Chandler is a handsome black and white medium hair Tabby who has a sweet and gentle disposition. He loves to play and chase his sisters (Mello and Phoebe) around the nursery. It is our policy to adopt kittens in pairs. DOB: 4/15/24

Story
Phoenix, along with his six siblings, were born to a "community cat." Their mom, Minx, a Lilac Point Siamese, was being fed with others but not spayed. When she turned up pregnant, the feeder waited until she was ready to deliver before he contacted us. Since Minx was clearly about to give birth, we set her up in our nursery. Sure enough, the very next day, she delivered seven babies. Their foster mom was present for the births, and it's a good thing! Minx had three breach babies on March 26th. On April 14th, we took in an orphaned single kitten of the same age. This little family accepted "Kimba" as one of their own. Minx raised all eight babies with such love and devotion that we are hoping she can be adopted with a pair of her littles. Phoenix has a special way of looking at his foster mom - with such trust and love it melts her heart. He is a very gentle, playful and loving kitten who loves to be held. He is a domestic medium hair with the most beautiful coloring. The white hairs interspersed with the black give him a salt and pepper appearance. It is our policy that kittens are adopted in pairs. Phoenix is especially fond of his "twin," Elijah, but he'd be happy to go to his together forever home with any of his siblings, his mom or friends. DOB: 3/28/24

Story
Teddy is a loving, cuddly cat that I found living around my property about 10 months ago. He's very friendly and I've been looking for his forever home ever since. Teddy's good around people, other cats and even dogs. He's litter box trained and has a soft, delicate meow that just makes a person's heart melt. He even likes tummy rubs, which is quite rare for a cat. He's primarily lived outside, but we've had him indoors in cases of bad weather, where he does pretty well. The adoption fee covers his flee treatment, as he isn't fixed and never had his shots.

Story
This is Lambchop! Lambchop is as cute as they come! He is a big boy for his age and he is not done growing. Two of Lambchop's favorite things is to play and eat treats! He will do anything for a treat. Lambchop would do best in a home with another as he has been around other cats his whole. His fellow foster cats helped him gain the confidence he needed to come out of his shell. He is a little shy at first, but will warm up quickly once he sees other cats showing humans affection. He has come so far in his foster home and is ready to go to a forever home with some friends.

Mufasa got his name, because, well, look at him! He's clearly the king! He's a benevolent king and enjoys it when his subjects show him the adoration that he knows befits him. He loves pets and scratches and snacks! Mufasa was dumped in a box outside our veterinarian's office with a wound to his back foot. We don't know if Scar was somehow behind what happened, but either way we knew we had to help get his majesty back to full health. So that's what we did, and he's healed and just waiting for a home.

Story
Beautiful Pixie Stix is so sweet and sassy. She was retested for felv yesterday and is NEGATIVE, so we celebrated with a photo shoot! Now that she is all clear, she is available for pre-adoption. She will be spayed asap and can go home a couple days later. She absolutely must have another kitten in her new home. After being alone for her formative period, she has a little bit of "single kitten syndrome." She's been out and about with the other foster kittens the last couple days and is learning the ropes. She's about 10 weeks old. She was originally found by a "friend" all alone in the bushes. This "friend" wanted to adopt her until she tested positive for felv. Then that "friend" couldn't be bothered to even keep her separated until she could be retested because her 13 year old kid said so. This "friend" was an adult, but let her child make the grown up decisions around the house. So then, even though the kitten was already under rescue, she started looking for other places to dump the kitten. Therefore, I ended up as her foster. Now Pixie Stix has a new lease on life and is looking for her REAL family. Is that you? Available for adoption through The Runaways Animal Rescue. All adoptions include spay/neuter, microchip, fiv/felv testing, current on flea meds and age appropriate vaccines, dewormed, and litter trained. Adoption application below. We are currently performing virtual meet and greets and home checks prior to the adoption taking place. Please reach out to me with any questions or fill out the application and include the pet's name in which you're interested. **Preference and discount given to folks who want to adopt two babies** Currently located in Clermont, Florida, but transportation is available a few hours in any direction for a committed adopter. https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/RAR/Cat #spayandneuter #catsofinstagram #adoptmyfosters #rescue #fosterkitten #therunawaysanimalrescue #foster #adoptdontshop #RAR #goodbyeisthegoal
