God's Dogs Rescue plus Kitties does NOT transport any cats or kittens in or out of the state of Texas. It is too stressful for the cats or kittens to be transported long distances, especially when enclosed in a vehicle containing dogs and puppies. Thank you for your understanding. Hi there! My name is Peppa Pig and no I am not a pig. Although I was pretty round when I came into my foster home. Inside of 24 hours, I popped out 6 babies and then after a few weeks, if that wasn't enough headaches...i mean little darlings to look after, I inherited a couple more to feed and look after. Honestly, I think I was doing enough before the last 2 came along but they are all weaned now and can find therir own homes. That means I get to relax now too and find my forever home too. Let me tell you about me. I was technically a stray as I was living outside, but I was friendly so perhaps I wasn't always an outside cat. I have adapted to having air conditioning and meals on time and in bowls very well and would not like to go back to living rough in the wilds of San Antonio. I am friendly and like to rub up against you when I am hungry, thirsty, want to be petted or just for the heck of it. I like having people around and I purr, purr, purr. I am about a year and a half old, and am ready for my forever home. My adoption fee is only $100 and I am fixed, microchipped and current on all of my needed vaccinations.

Some pets are in foster homes or may already have an appointment scheduled, so the appointment is important to make sure I will be available to meet you when you come. Polk County Humane Society is located in Bolivar, Missouri, but also makes transports to the Denver, CO, Des Moines, IA and St. Louis areas at least monthly. For potential adopters in those areas, we can do a virtual visit using FaceTime or another app. Just request an appointment using the same link, but note that you want the visit to be virtual and we will call you at the time of the visit once it is confirmed. For long distance transports, there is an additional $100 fee (CO) $50.00 fee (St. Louis) to cover the cost of the transport ($65) and a health certificate from a veterinarian ($35). Going that last mile home for our sweet pets! All of our pets are neutered or spayed, have vaccinations appropriate for their age, treated with flea/tick/heartworm prevention, dewormed and dogs are also microchipped. ##2184904##
