A fan of cat trees and scratching posts, she’ll happily climb and sharpen her claws in style. Story
Meet Mama – The Mysterious Floofy Rockstar! Named after the iconic My Chemical Romance song, Mama is a gorgeous grey-and-white fluffball with a shy soul and a heart full of love just waiting to be discovered. She’s looking for a quiet, indoor-only home where she can be the one and only star—no kids, no other pets, just her and her adoring fans (aka, you). At first, she might prefer to keep to the shadows like a true rockstar avoiding the paparazzi, but give her time, patience, and a cozy hiding spot, and she’ll start to show her sweet, affectionate side. She loves curling up in plush beds, sneaking through tunnels like a mysterious legend, and perching by the window to watch the world go by. Wet food, treats, and catnip toys? Absolutely essential for winning her over. If you’re ready to welcome a floofy, introverted rockstar into your life, Mama is waiting for the perfect human to be her biggest fan!

Story
Meet Burrito – The Ultimate Chunky Cuddle King! This extra-large orange loaf of love is Burrito, a certified professional snuggler and self-proclaimed ruler of all cozy spots! He’s got a heart as big as his belly and a purr that could shake the walls. Burrito is fantastic with respectful kids and thrives on attention, chin scratches, and being the center of your world. And speaking of being the center—he insists on being your one and only pet! No other cats or dogs, please. Burrito believes that all love, treats, and prime nap spots should be reserved just for him. He’s currently working on his `less burrito, more bean` fitness plan, so he needs a loving home that will help him achieve his weight-loss goals—slow and steady, of course! He’s an indoor-only king who adores catnip, treats (portion-controlled, please!), toys, sturdy scratching posts, and the fluffiest beds money can buy. Be warned—your chair? It’s his chair now.Ready to add a little extra love (and a lot of orange floof) to your life? Burrito is waiting for his forever home!

Story
Speck is a beautiful, volunteer-favorite, a 13-year-old, long-haired, tabby girl with bright green eyes. Originally surrendered to HART in the Fall of 2021, Speck was adopted shortly thereafter but was then returned to us, at no fault of her own, because her household was not a good fit for her. She enjoys spending time with people, and while she has a somewhat reserved, subtle personality, she likes gentle attention and receiving scratches and pets. She is looking for a calm, quiet home without young children or dogs - but would do ok with cats that respect her space. She will be happy as your low-key feline buddy. Speck has significant environmental and flea allergies which are well-managed by feeding her a special, non-prescription, limited-ingredient diet (duck is the primary ingredient), giving her daily medication and supplements, and ensuring she is not exposed to fleas (we recommend using flea preventative year-round). Speck also is hyper-thyroid. She takes medication twice per day for this, in a little pill wrap or pill pocket. Our Adoption Team will review her specific health needs with you before adoption. We will require that her adopters have a well-established relationship with a trusted veterinarian and that they be experienced cat guardians. We would love for Speck to find a home of her very own for her golden years. Please submit an adoption application and come in to meet this special kitty in Room 1.Go to our website, www.hartofme.org, to submit your online application today!***FKA = Formerly Known As

Story
Puffy is a long-haired, orange tabby kitty with white on her chest, tummy and legs, and a pink nose. She arrived at HART last summer along with her good friend, Pooh, and she is about 7 1/2 years old. Puffy is a sensitive girl who has had a hard time adjusting to the stresses of shelter life. She has been working with the Socialization Team to help her relax and become more comfortable with visitors. She is currently on medication to help relieve her stress and also to treat dermatitis on her nose, which is looking much better these days.Puffy and Pooh are truly bonded and must go to their new home together. Puffy would prefer a quiet home and would do best with patient adopters who would allow her the time she needs to bloom in the love of a new family. If you'd like to meet Puffy and her bestie, Pooh, in Room 4, please complete an online adoption application.Go to our website, www.hartofme.org, to submit your online application today!***FKA = Formerly Known As

Story
Sabrina is a beautiful dark gray long-haired beauty that was returned to HART when her owner could no longer care for her. Sabrina is a very happy, playful, friendly, and very smart kitty. She loves playing with the peacock feather and toys that are stringy and have a toy on the end. She loves to sit in the window and watch birds.Sabrina makes friends with male kitties very quickly and would benefit either by going home with a male kitty or have a male kitty at new adopter's home. She came in with Tony, who is also in her room at the shelter, but it is not required that they have to go together. Being the princess that she is she likes to be brushed which helps keep her fine hair in order. She is not a "lap" cat,but does like to be near her owner when working or watching tv.If Sabrina sounds like the kitty, you are looking for, please fill out the online application to get approved. Someone from HART will reach out to you to set up a time to come in an meet her. You will also be asked to meet with the Shy Angels coordinator to discuss Sabrina and how to make the introduction into your home.Go to our website, www.hartofme.org, to submit your online application today!***FKA = Formerly Known As
