Domestic Mediumhair kittens & cats in Flint, Michigan

Lily was brought into our home in 2021. We acclimated her well to our other cats, and things seemed to be going pretty well for the first few months. Upon bringing her home, we were told by staff that she had issues with hair pulling. We took her to the vet, who prescribed us a special shampoo to bathe her in to help with this. Unbeknownst to us, Lily’s papers stated that she was NOT good with other cats. We were absolutely heartbroken, as we had spent lots of time and money trying to fix what we thought was anxiety or behavioral issues. The staff failed to inform us of this, and eventually, Lily became fed up with her surroundings and started attacking us and our other cats. She has started to pull her hair out again, mostly on her tail and around her back end. We have stretched ourselves thin with medical care, and cannot afford to give her the help she needs. We are beside ourselves. We need to help her. She NEEDS to be in a home with no other cats.

Chelsea is the sweetest little girl. She was found at an abandoned house, along with her siblings. She is a little shy of course but friendly and very curious. It's great to see her playing with toys. Chelsea has been spayed, combo-tested, and received all of her age-appropriate vaccines as well as treated for parasites such as worms, fleas and ear mites. Make sure to let us know that you saw Domino on Adopt-a-pet. Domino is a sweet and sensitive soul, he is a little unsure of shelter life here and feels safer when he can feel hidden. He is very handsome and likes to be pet, he just needs someone to let him adjust at his own pace! No small children. Quiet home would fit better for him. He engages in self-directed play but is in many ways just a big kitten, so needs a LOT of stimulation and attention. Slow introduction with other cats would be best. Hi, My name is Muffin! Over Christmas Weekend of 2023, my family was evicted from their apartment. After the holiday, the apartment complex came into the empty unit to clean it out for the next tenant, and they found me. I was left inside the empty apartment from before Christmas Eve until the apartment complex finding me after Christmas Day. The apartment complex manager kept me in her office over New Years, and then contacted Pet Angel, who graciously took me in. I had nothing left in the apartment- no food, water, litterbox, toys, beds- anything. I wasn’t vetted, and I was so afraid when I got to Pet Angel. But they have taken the time to get me checked out, and spent months working with me on socialization. Right now (June of 2024) I am working on becoming a free roam cat, and hope to be free roam, living with other adult cats by the beginning of July! I am a sweet, quiet, gentle soul. I don’t like a busy environment or a lot of people. I enjoy hidey holes, fluffy beds, and yeowww toys! I like cat treats, and enjoy being brushed! I am very nervous when it comes to adventuring around, but once I get home and am given ample time to settle into my new home, I will bloom! I am shy to strangers, but love you once I get to know you! I would be a great lap cat, but need to give time to adjust! I am fixed, microchipped, up to date on all my shots, and negative for FIV/FELV. I am looking for a strictly indoor-only home where I will not travel unless it is to and from the vet. I would do good in a CALM home. If you have a busy home with lots of other pets, family members, or visitors, I would not thrive in your home. I would prefer a home with a small family with older children or no children. I would do okay with other cats or a calm dog. She is a very sweet, cuddly and loving lap cat. At first she is very shy but once she warms up she will be constantly at your side. I was adopted along with my sibling Mio, now known as Daphne, but we are back with PAAW now because of a family member`s severe allergy.I am playful and quite smart. I loved sitting on my dad`s lap and next to him while he worked. I often flop on my back with my paws curled up and look absolutely adorable when I want to eat dinner.I have always been with Mio (Daphne), so we are bonded and come as a loving package to brighten your days!We both love ‘chase the treat time,’ when crunchie treats are thrown down the hall and we chase them down. While we are competitive with each other for the chase, we never take a treat away from the other. We often sleep curled up together and keep each other entertained. We are very good at using our litter boxes and have never had an accident or gone outside of our boxes. We are really sweet cats, and keep each other company. We are not really what you would call `lap cats` and mostly enjoy being petted when food is involved.
