Story
Princess Diana was loved by many people throughout the world. She once said, “I like to be a free spirit. Some don’t like that, but that’s the way I am.” I’m a bit of a free spirit too. I’m Charlene, a medium-haired, brown tabby kitten. I was found on a rural property with my mama and siblings, and we’ve been staying in a foster home. I was a bottle baby, but you should see me now! I’m a gorgeous girl, and don’t I know it! My foster mom says that I am “both a lover and a diva.” She said that I strut my stuff as if I’m the queen of the castle. I do get along extremely well with all the foster cats, so maybe I don’t feel so high and mighty all the time. When I was a tiny kitten, I hung out with the foster dogs, so I’ll probably be fine with dogs too. My foster mom did say that I turn into a “devil cat” when it comes to taking meds, however! As with many cats, pilling practice makes perfect, but I hope I won’t be needing to take medications for a long, long time!I will be staying in our foster home, so if you are interested in adopting me, you will need to apply online. Someone from the shelter will contact you to arrange a meet and greet.Adoption fee $150 + microchip fee $30 + tax

Story
Honey Bunches of kitties! Start every day with a pretty, black and white medium-haired female kitty named Honey Bunch. I’m a mama cat who is estimated to be around 1 ½ years old. I was found with my three 2-month-old kittens in Leroy. Our rescuers did not have room to keep us, so they brought us to Paws and Claws. This has been frightening for me, and I hiss when I am bewildered and scared, but I do like to be petted if I am approached slowly. I am naturally concerned for the safety and well-being of my kittens as well. Given time, I will allow myself to show people what a real honey I am, and they’ll be able to love me a whole bunch. Then I can go home to be someone’s sweet Honey Bunch.Adoption fee $100 + microchip fee $30 + tax

Story
I was all dressed up with nowhere to go! I’m Sherman, a 9-year-old, medium-haired black and white tuxedo female. I was found as a stray, wearing a bow tie collar. I was taken to another shelter and then came to Paws and Claws in late February. I am microchipped, so my name and age are known, but my owners could not be located. Not many females are named Sherman – it means “cloth cutter,” or “shearer of woolen garments,” so it is a gender-neutral name. I was quite frightened when I got here. I growled and hissed. I even swatted! It will take some time for me to feel comfortable. I was so nervous when I got here that people were petting me with a “mechanical hand` just to help me get used to petting. Now I like being petted a little if I am “bribed” first with Delectables Squeeze Up treats. Yum! This is progress! I will need a quiet home with patient adopters who are willing to let me adjust at my own pace; whether it will take weeks or months, I cannot say. I “wool” try to become my very best self. I hope “ewe” will love Sherman as I am, because I am lovable. I purromise.Adoption fee $50 + microchip fee $30 + tax

Story
“The sweetest thing ever!” That’s what my foster mom said about me. (Psst! I think she says that about all her fosters.) It’s true, though. I love to give hugs. If you’ve never been hugged by a cat, now is your chance to find out how wonderful it feels! I’m Ellie, a 9-month-old, medium-haired calico girl. I’m one of eight kitties who were found in a trailer park in Plainview in early February. We’ve been staying in a foster home since then, and I’ve blossomed into an affectionate girl who gives lots of hugs, nonstop. I am a bit scared of other cats, although I can be out with them; it’s just that I get nervous. I might do best in a home as an only cat or with a very chill, gentle cat. I’m such a dear girl, and I’ll be elated to be your darling Ellie. I will be staying in my foster home, so anyone interested in adopting me should call the shelter (507) 288-7226 or go online info@pawsandclaws.org to make arrangements to meet me.Adoption fee $150 + microchip fee $30 + tax

Story
Who’s un-“peel”ievably sweet? Me! I’m Emmett, a 9-month-old, medium-haired orange tabby boy. I’m one of eight kitties who were found in a trailer park in Plainview in early February. We’ve been staying in a foster home since then. I’m “such a good boy”, according to my foster mom, but she said that she needs to get sneaky when she wants to take pictures because I want to be petted all the time. Not ALL the time! Come on, foster mommy! I love playing with toys too! But I won’t deny wanting pets. There’s nothing wrong with that, is there? Of course not! I’ll be one of the cutest, sweetest, friendliest kittens you’ve ever met, so don’t wait to adopt Emmett! I will be staying in my foster home, so anyone interested in adopting me should call the shelter (507) 288-7226 or go online info@pawsandclaws.org to make arrangements to meet me.Adoption fee $150 + microchip fee $30 + tax

Story
Heads or tails? I mean, check out my tail! I’m Everett, a 9-month-old, medium-haired orange tabby boy. I’m one of eight kitties who were found in a trailer park in Plainview in early February. We’ve been staying in a great foster home. I know my tail is pretty terrific, but the rest of me is great too. My foster mom calls me “a huge lover.” I’m always “starving” for love and attention, she said. I thrive on being held and cuddled. I love playing with the other kitties, too, and I’d have tons of fun with a sibling or another kitty for a playmate. Ready. Set. Come get Everett! I will be staying in my foster home, so anyone interested in adopting me should call the shelter (507) 288-7226 or go online info@pawsandclaws.org to make arrangements to meet me.
