Story
Endzone Enforcer, or “Enzi” for short, is a stunning, smoky gray beauty with a heart as gentle as her name is fierce! This sweet, shy mama came to us with her tiny kittens, and she’s done a wonderful job raising them. Now that her little ones have grown, it’s Enzi’s turn to be pampered and loved. While she may be a bit shy at first, Enzi warms up with a little patience and gentle attention. She’s got the softest purr and the sweetest way of curling up next to you once she feels safe. She’d thrive in a calm, loving home where she can finally relax and enjoy the quiet life she deserves. If you’re looking for a gentle, graceful companion, Enzi would love to meet you. Give this precious mama the forever home she’s been dreaming of—you won’t regret it! Enzi’s $120 Adoption Fee is a great deal. She is spayed, vaccinated, micro-chipped, wormed, tested negative for Feline Leukemia & FIV. Enzi's Estimated month of Birth is 10/2023. Visit Pals-Pets.com to fill out a Pre-Adoption Questionnaire or call 314.581.6651 to ***schedule an appointment*** to meet this pet or any others here at the shelter.

Story
Esther is a super sweet cat that loves to snuggle. She’s great with dogs and cats. We found her over a year ago and took her in. We aren’t sure how old she is, but the vet says she is young. Maybe 2 years old. She has a prescription diet. Regular cat food makes her sick. We have tried a few different cat foods, but we can’t afford to get more tests done to find out what upsets her stomach. We are hoping to find her a new loving home that can help find out what she needs.

Story
Lucy has been with us for about 10 years. My son as become allergic to her. She is a great cat. She is fully litter box trained ( likes to have a scooped box every couple days) she would do great in a home with an older person and no other animals. She kind of just does her own thing, she likes to sleep at our feet sometimes at night.

Needs special attention, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Charm was living outside and came to Heartland very scared and stressed.  Her mouth was in very bad decay so she was also in pain.  Charm was seen by our vet who did a full mouth extraction, relieving her pain and allowing her to focus on the perks of being an indoor kitty. Charm took a couple of months to warm up to her foster mom, but once trust was gained, her sweet and loving personality came through.  She now loves attention and can eat food just fine. Charm is spayed, microchipped, tested negative for FeLV, has been flea and parasite treated and is current on vaccinations.  She did test positive for FIV.  FIV kitties can live a normal, long life as long as they are kept indoors and given medical treatment if early signs of illness are shown.  Their immune system is not as strong so illness needs to be treated early.  FIV kitties can live with non-FIV kitties just fine as long as they are not aggressive, as FIV can be transmitted through a deep bite that draws blood.  FIV kitties do not require any daily meds or special food. Charm can eat normal cat food and is especially drawn to wet food.  She doesn't seem to mind cat friendly dogs.  HHS12989LH    November 5, 2024, 10:31 am
