Story
Molly was surrendered by her owner for health reasons, no fault of her own. Molly is a sweet girl that can get along with other cats -- proper, slow acclimation is necessary. She is a dominant personality, enjoys pets and attention -- she will throw herself on the floor at your feet so that you must stop and pet her! She is estimated to be about 2 years old and has a $100 adoption fee. All cats adopted through our rescue are age appropriately vaccinated including rabies & FVRCP/Feline Leukemia vaccines, dewormed & free of fleas, combo tested (negative unless otherwise noted), microchipped and spayed/neutered before adoptions are finalized. If you would like to adopt, please fill out the application through the link or the website at -www.whiskersofohio.org - please note that the "I'm interested" tab on Petfinder does NOT act as an application, this should only be used for specific questions before committing to an adoption. You will receive an email confirmation when your application goes through. We make no breed guarantees, we are a rescue, not a breeder. Please only apply for a specific kitten if you are committed to adopting! Our workers are all volunteers and it takes time to process applications. We are a registered, volunteer run 501c3 non-profit organization. Free transport is regularly available to Wayne/Holmes County areas! We do have the ability to fly a cat or pair of kittens via Southwest's SWATT program to any location served by Southwest Airlines. It isn't free but has been a great way to transport animals in a timely manner.

Story
Tater just showed up one day, literally at the door of our rescue -- he went to the front door, then around to the back in the midst of a snowstorm... His giant frame was so skinny, and he was starving -- he seems pretty grateful for a soft bed and plenty of food. He clearly had been around people in the past, but no owners could be found and he didn't have a microchip. He will get a dental before he goes to his forever home... Tater did test positive for FIV -- this does not mean that he can't live out a normal life, but he does need to be with other cats who are also neutered and do not fight, and of course he can live with other FIV cats. He has a $100 adoption fee. All cats adopted through our rescue are age appropriately vaccinated including rabies & FVRCP/Feline Leukemia vaccines, dewormed & free of fleas, combo tested (negative unless otherwise noted), microchipped and spayed/neutered before adoptions are finalized. She just showed up one day and I could tell she was previously someone pet so I took her in. She is as sweet as can be. All she wants is love and cuddles. She occasionally plays with toys but loves her sleep. She never understood her claws so she can’t control when they come out, she means absolutely no harm towards you!! She’s the most laid back cat i’ve ever met. She’s looking for a comforting forever home!!

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Morgan is a pretty tortie who has lived almost all of her life in her foster home. Morgan wants attention on her own terms. She will sometimes sit in her foster daddy's lap. Morgan loves pate canned cat food and has had all her teeth removed because of gum problems, but can still eat dry food a little. Those problems no longer exist and she is feeling a whole lot better!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please fill out an adoption application today at https://fflah.rescuegroups.org//forms November 4, 2024, 7:02 pm

Story
This cat was born from a feral cat. He is very shy but super sweet. He is very loved. Unfortunately my son is moving and cannot take him. We have been looking to rehome him since November.. Other sites take my posts down because he isn’t fixed. Son is moving Jan 24. We can’t take him because our own cat does not like other cats. We are in Reynoldsburg. When you pick him up please bring a carrier

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Sammy is the shy one compared to his sister Sassy. But don’t be fooled, he is always ready for scratches behind the ears. Sammy loves to play! His favorite is interactive play with a feather wand or a cat toy with moving parts. When he is chilling, he likes to sit on the top of the cat tree and look out the window at the birds and squirrels. Sammy will take a little time to warm up to you, but once he does, look out for cute snuggles!  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please fill out an adoption application today at https://fflah.rescuegroups.org//forms January 21, 2025, 11:31 pm
