Charlie came to TCR last year with her three babies. Charlie is gorgeous like a super meowdel. Also like a super meowdel, you will need to admire her beauty from afar. Though Charlie has come a long way, she is still unsure of humans. She does not like to be touched but will tolerate short pets if you manage to catch her when she is relaxed in a cat cubby. She hisses but has never displayed any aggression. Charlie loves wet food, her daughter and twin (Hollywood), and relaxing. She has recently started showing interest in playing with a wand toy with her foster mom. When her foster mom isn't around, she does enjoy playing chase with Hollywood. Charlie and Hollywood love each other so much that they cry when separated so ideally they would be adopted together. Due to Charlie still learning to trust humans, she would need to go to a home that is quiet with no children. She will also need an extremely patient adopter who would be willing to start her in a small room with minimal hiding spaces and time to spend with her daily to continue to teach her humans are okay. Her perfect adopter can bond with her over wet food and continue to play with her with the wand toy (once she's ready!). Charlie is estimated to be about three years old. But as she gains confidence in a new space, she loves to play and explore. When she's ready to rest, she loves to go into her "CiCi hole" (any covered area) to recharge and stretch out. This girl goes CRAZY for churus, and is very demanding when she wants pets - circling and laying at your feet until you give her the attention that she deserves. CiCi will likely do well in a home with older, cat-savvy and patient kiddos, but very young or loud kids might be too much. Meet Stash! Stash was previously living as part of an established cat colony, but he came to TCR when neighbors of the colony caretakers began to complain about the number of cats in the neighborhood. Stash grew up relying on people for food, so he is no stranger to humans. Stash may be shy at first, but we are really starting to grow on him! He is making great progress every day and now comes up to us for pets, begs for treats and food, and allows full handling. We still expect that he will need a transition period in his new home and adopters willing to start him off in one small room and allow him to ease in, but we are confident he will be a great companion once he has time to blossom! Stash does great with other cats and would love to be adopted along with one of the kitties he was rescued with, or to a home with another accommodating resident cat that he can be friends with. He'd likely do OK with older, cat-savvy kiddos, but young or very small kids might be a bit much for him. He does well with being brushed and his future adopters should be prepared to help keep up with his gorgeous, floofy coat! Stash is estimated to be about two years old.
