Story
Meet Sherlock, an 8-month-old medium-haired black beauty with the softest fur and the sweetest personality! This affectionate and cuddly boy is as loyal as they come-he loves people, other cats, and especially snuggling up in a cozy spot. His foster kids even wrap him up in blankets for cuddle time, and he happily lounges without a care in the world! Sherlock enjoys climbing his cat tower, being around his favorite humans, and, of course, mealtime! He's great with kids (currently living with a 6- and 9-year-old) and does well with the senior border collie in his foster home. Sherlock shares his foster home with his brother, Holmes, and while they don't have to be adopted together, they would love to find a home where they can stay side by side! He's litter box trained and would thrive in any home that will shower him with love-whether you're a first-time pet owner or have had cats before. Sherlock is current on vaccines, and his adoption fee will include his neuter and microchip. If you're interested in meeting him, contact us at adopt@carolinapaws.com!

Story
Chewie was adopted from North Myrtle Beach in November 2020 to join our family. We have since added 2 more cats and 2 small dogs to our family. Chewie is showing she is not happy with the dogs or 1 of the newer cats. Despite our efforts, she is just not happy. She gets along well with our other cats and children, but has identified her enemies! We have made adjustments by adding extra food/water stations, litter boxes, different toys and a separate cat perch, but Chewie is still not happy. We are looking to re-home Chewie so she can be the spoiled princess she deserves to be! She loves playing with string toys, laser pens and being brushed. Showing off her poof and floof tail makes her happy! She is such a sweet, sweet baby. Her being happy matters more than is keeping her for our own happiness. She deserves to be loved and spoiled. Chewie has been an indoor cat only since we adopted her. She does enjoy lounging by an open window when it is cool out, but stays indoors.

Story
Wednesday and her friend Snowflake have joined our rescue. They are still a little nervous and would love a calmer home with folks who will give them time to settle in. While they can absolutely be adopted together, we have realized that they are quite independent and we feel they would be fine if adopted separately. They would do best in a calmer home. Children over 12 please. They will be fine in a home with a calm dog. Wednesday has had age-appropriate vetting, is FeLV/FIV negative, microchipped and has been spayed. FREE wellness visit with adoption. Saving Southern Kitties has the most comprehensive vetting standards for adoption. Please visit our kitties at the Rivergate Petsmart in Charlotte and like and visit Saving Southern Kitties Facebook page for an up-to-date list of adoptable kitties. An application is required.
