Story
Meet Hugh, a sweet but very shy cat looking for his forever home! Hugh was once a stray and is still adjusting to life around humans, but with time he's slowly learning to trust people and has realized he LOVES being petted. He's even a bit of a happy drooler. He's a gentle soul who prefers a quiet environment, so he'd do best in a peaceful household without loud noises or young children. While he might be a little timid at first, Hugh is sure to warm up to a patient and understanding owner who can give him the space he needs to feel safe and loved. We're not sure if Hugh has been around other animals before so a slow, proper introduction will be very important. Adopting a shy cat can be so rewarding as you see them blossom and their personalities start to shine as they realize they've found their fur-ever home. If you're looking for a calm companion to share your home with, Hugh might be the perfect fit!If you would like to meet him please come down and meet him!We are open to walk in's Tuesday - Saturday 12 pm -4 pm (except for Stat Holidays).Walk-ins are prioritized. In order to prepare for your visit, you can submit a Pre-Adoption Questionnaire as well at;https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Black Weight: 4.65 Age: 2yrs 1mths 3wks

Meet Prince:Prince is a charming gentleman looking for his chance at a fur-ever home. He is a sweet and gentle guy who can be a little shy at first but given time to adjust in his new environment he will come out of his shell. Prince will make a loving companion and great addition to a home. He could possibly live with other animals and cat savvy older children with proper, slow introductions. He has lived with another cat before. Prince is a bit overweight so an adopter should be prepared to help him trim down a bit with a healthy and appropriate diet. We are open to walk in's Tuesday - Saturday 12 pm -4 pm (except for Stat Holidays). Story
Smoky came to us when his human could no longer care for him, and he's looking for a new place to call home. This shy boy is used to a calm, quiet environment and would thrive in a mellow household where he can enjoy his independence. While he may take some time to warm up, Smoky has a playful side and loves to explore his surroundings.Smoky prefers attention on his own terms, so he'll be looking for a home without small kids. He hasn't lived with other animals before, so we're not sure how he'd feel about sharing his space. Desmond will be neutered prior to adoption and is ready to find a patient and understanding family to help him settle in at his own pace.*Smoky is currently awaiting his neuter, so is only available for foster-to-adopt local to the South Okanagan area*If Smoky sounds like your purrrrrfect match, please submit a pre-adoption questionnaire here: https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Grey Tabby Weight: 6.8 Age: 2yrs 0mths 0wks

Story
Mya is looking for a new home. She grew up with dogs and has a background living on a farm. Confident and clear about her preferences, Mya knows exactly what she wants. She would do best in an adult home, as she can be quite particular about being petted. Mya has lived with other cats before and enjoys their company. Having been allowed outside for the last few years, Mya would thrive in a home with access to a safe outdoor space where she can enjoy the grass beneath her paws and bask in the sun.If you think Mya would enjoy being part of your family, please fill out the application below:https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Tabby Weight: 4.01 Age: 4yrs 0mths 2wks

Story
Picture this: Your granny, living her best life, on neighborhood patrol, with a front-row seat to the drama unfolding outside her window. There's Barbara, giving her grass the hydration it so clearly craves for the third time this week. Oh, and across the street? The pizza people are back! They've already had pizza last week. Oh, wait, that same car just drove by again... fourth time today? Now, what's going on.That's Nanna Ellie May-the queen of all things nosy. A little fluffier than most (but we love her for it), she'll waddle out of her bed and shimmy down the cat tree, just to find the perfect perch for her spy duties. She's all eyes on the door, scanning the horizon for any sign of action.Ellie May is the sweetest, little old lady you'll ever meet, and (when she's not napping) our unofficial snooping expert. Now, Ellie's looking for a new place to perch, ideally somewhere with enough going on to keep her life exciting but with plenty of comfy spots for those well-earned naps. A place with lots of love, treats (okay, mostly love), and of course, a prime window spot for all her snooping needs when she's not living her best retirement life.If your household is lacking any sweetness, consider adding this beautiful girl to your home and hearts. Please submit an application through the link below!https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Calico Weight: 6.31 Age: 11yrs 8mths 2wks

Story
Meet Goose!Goose is a sweet, easygoing girl who has lived with other cats, dogs, and children. She's friendly and adaptable, making her a wonderful companion. Currently, she's working on her litter box training and doing well, but this will need to be continued in her new home.Goose does have a heart murmur, but it's not affecting her quality of life right now. It's important to note that a heart murmur requires regular monitoring by her veterinarian, ideally once or twice a year. While we can't predict what the future holds for this beautiful girl, we do know that she enjoys life to the fullest and would love to share her infectious happiness with a new family. If you think that Goose is the girl for you please submit an application through the link below!https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Grey Secondary Color: Tabby Weight: 3.27 Age: 1yrs 0mths 1wks
