Story
Meet Primrose!Primrose came from a large group of cats so is still adjusting to the unfamiliar shelter environment. With the patience of staff and volunteers Primrose is beginning to feel for comfortable in this new environment and we are starting to see her personality shine through. Although she's still quite anxious, she finds comfort in human company and will accept gentle pets. She's such a sweet girl and really will likely start to feel more comfortable once she's out of the shelter, and in a home where she can spend more consistent time around people. Starting off in a smaller room of her new home would be best so that she's not overwhelmed by the new space. Coming from living with a large number of cats Primrose may appreciate living with a resident feline given proper gradual introductions. We are open to walk in's Tuesday - Saturday 12 pm -4 pm (except for Stat Holidays). Walk-ins are prioritized. In order to prepare for your visit, you can submit a Pre-Adoption Questionnaire as well at; https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Brown Tabby Secondary Color: White Weight: 2.88 Age: 1yrs 0mths 2wks

Story
Meet Tuna:Tuna is a 6-year-old male cat who is as cute as can be! This sweet boy is looking for a patient and understanding home where he can feel safe and loved. He can be anxious in new situations and takes a while to warm up to his surroundings, so he'll need a quiet and calm environment with a family willing to give him the time he needs to come out of his shell. At first, Tuna may seek comfort under a bed or couch while he adjusts, but with patience and a gentle approach, his trust can be earned. Once he feels comfortable, he will purr in your presence, knead the ground, and even flop over to show you his belly-his special way of saying he's ready for pets! He enjoys head, chin, and belly rubs and would do best in a home with a designated space where he can relax and feel secure.Tuna has a soft spot for treats, especially Temptations and squeeze tubes, which can be a great way to bond with him. He also enjoys being up high on furniture, surveying his kingdom from a safe perch. However, he does not like sudden movements, loud noises, or people approaching him too quicklyIf you would like to meet him please come down and meet him!We are open to walk in's Tuesday - Saturday 12 pm -4 pm (except for Stat Holidays).Walk-ins are prioritized. In order to prepare for your visit, you can submit a Pre-Adoption Questionnaire as well at;https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Grey Secondary Color: White Weight: 6.73 Age: 6yrs 0mths 2wks

Story
Meet Snoopy, a sweet and affectionate 13-year-old young senior with a big heart-and an even bigger love for pets and food! This lovable guy enjoys attention from his humans and will happily soak up all the love you have to give. He is house-trained and gets along well with other cats, making him a great addition to a feline-friendly home. Since he's a bit on the heavier side, Snoopy is on a special diet to help him reach a healthier weight. With a caring adopter who can keep up with his meal plan (and give him plenty of snuggles), Snoopy will make a wonderful companion in his golden years! We are open to walk in's Tuesday - Saturday 12 pm -4 pm (except for Stat Holidays).Walk-ins are prioritized. In order to prepare for your visit, you can submit a Pre-Adoption Questionnaire as well at;https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Brown Tabby Secondary Color: White Weight: 8.21 Age: 13yrs 7mths 0wks

Story
Smoky came to us when his human could no longer care for him, and he's looking for a new place to call home. This shy boy is used to a calm, quiet environment and would thrive in a mellow household where he can enjoy his independence. While he may take some time to warm up, Smoky has a playful side and loves to explore his surroundings.Smoky prefers attention on his own terms, so he'll be looking for a home without small kids. He hasn't lived with other animals before, so we're not sure how he'd feel about sharing his space. Smoky will be neutered prior to adoption and is ready to find a patient and understanding family to help him settle in at his own pace.If Smoky sounds like your purrrrrfect match, please submit a pre-adoption questionnaire here: https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Grey Tabby Weight: 6.8 Age: 2yrs 0mths 2wks

Story
Meet Mr. Pickles, a sweet and resilient cat who's looking for his forever home! Mr. Pickles was found as a stray with many battle wounds and an abscess on the side of his face, from past scuffles. Thankfully, he's received the care he needed and is now ready to start a new chapter of his life. Due to his past experiences, Mr. Pickles would do best as an indoor-only cat to keep him safe and free from future injuries.Despite his rough start, Mr. Pickles has a calm and loving demeanour. He enjoys being around people and is always ready to curl up in a cozy spot for some quality snuggle time. He might be a bit shy at first, but once he trusts you, you'll see just how sweet and affectionate he can be.Mr. Pickles would make a perfect companion for a quieter home, where he can enjoy the comforts of being an indoor kitty and feel safe. Story
Kiki is a beautiful cat who's still learning to trust the world around her. Right now, the shelter is a scary place for her, and she's feeling pretty overwhelmed. While she may greet new situations with hisses and growls, we can see glimpses of the sweet girl she truly wants to be-leaning in for hesitant headbutts when she's looking for comfort. We believe that with time, patience, and a quiet, loving home, Kiki has so much potential to come out of her shell. She just needs someone willing to give her the space to grow at her own pace. Given how unsure she is, Kiki is looking for a home without small children, dogs, or hyperactive felines who might add to her stress. However, she may do well with a calm, friendly cat, as she has lived with other cats successfully in the past.If you have a gentle heart and an understanding soul, Kiki could be the perfect companion for you. Are you the special person who can help her find her confidence and show the world the loving cat she's meant to be? 💕 Please submit a pre-adoption questionnaire here: https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Brown Tabby Secondary Color: White Weight: 3.94 Age: 8yrs 0mths 1wks

Maurice is a 12-year-young gentleman with a big personality and even bigger heart! He knows exactly what he wants in life-food, pets, and lots of attention (on his terms, of course). This charming old man loves meeting new people and isn't shy about demanding affection when he's in the mood. However, he also appreciates his independence and would love a family that understands how to read his cues-especially when he's had enough pets or isn't in the mood for a brushing session.Maurice has spent time as an indoor-outdoor cat, but in his golden years, he'd be safest and happiest staying indoors, soaking up all the love and comfort of a forever home. If you're looking for a confident, affectionate, and slightly sassy companion to keep you company, Maurice might just be the perfect match. Please submit a pre-adoption questionnaire see if he's the paw-sitively spectacular friend you've been searching for! 💙🐾 Primary Color: Orange Tabby Weight: 5.77 Age: 12yrs 0mths 1wks
