Story
Mya is looking for a new home. She grew up with dogs and has a background living on a farm. Confident and clear about her preferences, Mya knows exactly what she wants. She would do best in an adult home, as she can be quite particular about being petted. Mya has lived with other cats before and enjoys their company. Having been allowed outside for the last few years, Mya would thrive in a home with access to a safe outdoor space where she can enjoy the grass beneath her paws and bask in the sun.If you think Mya would enjoy being part of your family, please fill out the application below:https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Tabby Weight: 4.01 Age: 4yrs 0mths 2wks

Story
Picture this: Your granny, living her best life, on neighborhood patrol, with a front-row seat to the drama unfolding outside her window. There's Barbara, giving her grass the hydration it so clearly craves for the third time this week. Oh, and across the street? The pizza people are back! They've already had pizza last week. Oh, wait, that same car just drove by again... fourth time today? Now, what's going on.That's Nanna Ellie May-the queen of all things nosy. A little fluffier than most (but we love her for it), she'll waddle out of her bed and shimmy down the cat tree, just to find the perfect perch for her spy duties. She's all eyes on the door, scanning the horizon for any sign of action.Ellie May is the sweetest, little old lady you'll ever meet, and (when she's not napping) our unofficial snooping expert. Now, Ellie's looking for a new place to perch, ideally somewhere with enough going on to keep her life exciting but with plenty of comfy spots for those well-earned naps. A place with lots of love, treats (okay, mostly love), and of course, a prime window spot for all her snooping needs when she's not living her best retirement life.If your household is lacking any sweetness, consider adding this beautiful girl to your home and hearts. Story
Meet Goose!Goose is a sweet, easygoing girl who has lived with other cats, dogs, and children. She's friendly and adaptable, making her a wonderful companion. Currently, she's working on her litter box training and doing well, but this will need to be continued in her new home.Goose does have a heart murmur, but it's not affecting her quality of life right now. It's important to note that a heart murmur requires regular monitoring by her veterinarian, ideally once or twice a year. While we can't predict what the future holds for this beautiful girl, we do know that she enjoys life to the fullest and would love to share her infectious happiness with a new family. If you think that Goose is the girl for you please submit an application through the link below!https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Grey Secondary Color: Tabby Weight: 3.27 Age: 1yrs 0mths 1wks

Story
Meet Babs, a sweet and gentle senior cat looking for her forever home after her previous guardian sadly passed away. Babs loves a calm and peaceful environment, where she can relax and enjoy her golden years in comfort. She's not a fan of loud noises or chaos, so she'd do best in a quiet home without young children. She has lived with another cat before and has gotten used to a dog in her foster home with very slow, proper introductions. Babs can be shy at first and may want to have a safe hiding place in her new home while she adjusts. Once she feels comfortable, she's sure to bring a lot of warmth and companionship, and enjoys pets and being brushed. She'll also find the comfiest places to have long cat naps or may cuddle up with you. Sweet Babs is looking for someone special to spoil her in her senior years. Could it be you? When she came to the SPCA, Babs wasn't in the best shape. She was severely matted and dirty from her living conditions. She also seemed to be suffering from an upper respiratory virus. She has greatly improved with proper diet, housing, and medical care, but may be a cat that will continue to have mild chronic symptoms, such as sneezing and watery eyes. Babs should be kept as an indoor only cat and, as with any senior animal, her new guardian should keep up with regularly veterinary checks to help keep Babs happy and healthy. Many senior animals will require dental work and other vet care as they age so adopters should be prepared for this.If you are interested in adopting sweet senior, Babs, please apply in person at the animal centre during public hours, or online at the link below. She is currently in a foster home.https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Orange Tabby Weight: 5.8 Age: 8yrs 2mths 2wks

Story
Meet Hugh, a sweet but very shy cat looking for his forever home! Hugh was once a stray and is still adjusting to life around humans, but with time he's slowly learning to trust people and has realized he LOVES being petted. He's even a bit of a happy drooler. He's a gentle soul who prefers a quiet environment, so he'd do best in a peaceful household without loud noises or young children. While he might be a little timid at first, Hugh is sure to warm up to a patient and understanding owner who can give him the space he needs to feel safe and loved. We're not sure if Hugh has been around other animals before so a slow, proper introduction will be very important. Adopting a shy cat can be so rewarding as you see them blossom and their personalities start to shine as they realize they've found their fur-ever home. If you're looking for a calm companion to share your home with, Hugh might be the perfect fit!If you would like to meet him please come down and meet him!We are open to walk in's Tuesday - Saturday 12 pm -4 pm (except for Stat Holidays).Walk-ins are prioritized. In order to prepare for your visit, you can submit a Pre-Adoption Questionnaire as well at;https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Black Weight: 4.65 Age: 2yrs 2mths 0wks
