Buddy is a lap cat. He's a little shy at first but once he comes out of his shell, he is a complete sweetheart. He would love to spend all day on someone’s lap. Buddy is good with dogs and would be ok with another cat or as an only cat.

Story
Mango was supposed to be a tnr cat but rescuers realized he had a serious injury to his tail that resulted in an amputation. The vets all talked about what a friendly boy he is so he was sent to a foster home. He is slowly adapting to life as an inside cat and learning to trust humans. He loves to spend hours looking out the window. He can be with other cats but he is not interested in playing with them or fighting. He loves to relax. He’s ok with being bathed. He is good with children petting him as long as they're gentle. He allows hugs, but for a short time and loves to rub against your legs. He had a hard time regaining trust in humans but he is now a loving boy. His meows sound like a little bird. Mango had a rough start in life on the streets, but now he deserves to find a good forever home.

Story
🌟 Meet the toe-tally awesome Toes! 🌟 This handsome void cat isn’t just your average feline—he’s a polydactyl, meaning he has extra toes! 🐈‍⬛ Toes sports an impressive 22 toes: 6 on each front paw and 5 on each back paw. These unique cats are often called “mitten cats” or “Hemingway cats” because their front paws resemble mittens, and Ernest Hemingway famously adored polydactyl cats, filling his estate with them. Toes is a 14-pound lover boy who is all about the affection and cuddles. He's like a big black teddy bear, gentle and loving! He enjoys following his favorite foster human around like a dog, taking naps, and sunning himself in the window. He does enjoy a little bit a play and every now and then chasing string and wands toys. He’s approximately 4-5 years old. He is in his prime and ready to find his forever home! Although Toes is very healthy, he is FIV positive, a result of his time living outdoors. A kind caretaker looked after him for at least a year trying to get him adopted or rescued. During that time, he sustained a bite wound from another FIV+ cat but thanks to antibiotics and care, he’s fully healed and thriving. 💖 About FIV: FIV isn’t a big deal! It simply means Toes has a slightly weakened immune system, so his adopter will need to monitor him for common illnesses like colds, respiratory infections, and stay on top of his dental health with regular vet visits (twice a year is ideal). With proper care, FIV cats can live just as long and happy a life as non-FIV cats—and they can even live with FIV-negative cats, as long as they get along. FIV is only spread through deep bite wounds meaning cats sharing food bowls and liter boxes is completely safe! Toes has had a full vet checkup, including a bloodwork panel which was normal, and he is in excellent health. In his foster home, he’s been a perfect gentleman, getting along with all the resident kitties. To keep Toes healthy and living as long as possible, he will need to be a strictly indoor cat & all other resident cats will need to be kept up to date on vaccinations & indoor only. 💌 Toes is on the lookout for his purr-fect person to love, cherish, and treat him like the prince he is. Could you be the one to give this sweet, special boy the forever home he deserves? Check out our Facebook profile for more pictures and videos of Toes!
