Asher is a handsome young male looking for a home as a barn cat. While he is a very friendly cat, he is not litter box trained so he would prefer to help control your rodent population in exchange for a warm shelter and regular feeding. Asher is up-to-date on FVRCP, rabies, microchipped, neutered, and ready to go home! He has been treated with a few rounds of antibiotics for sneezing with no impact. At this point we believe his sneezing is related to allergies or polyps in his nasal passage, and not having an impact on his quality of life at this time. Michelin is ready to roll on into your life! Michelin was named because he was found in a stack of tires at a business in Tracy. He came into foster care and instantly became the biggest cuddle bug and purr monster you can imagine. Michelin is playful and sweet, but also happy to take a nice nap on you. Michelin currently lives with other cats and dogs and does great with them. He is pretty confident for such a wee little one. We suspect Michelin will also do great with kids, although he does not currently live with any. Michelin is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on his vaccinations. Stormi is a beautiful girl that has a pretty calm disposition despite her name. She has the most beautiful gray coat that makes you think of storm clouds, but her personality is that of other tranquility. Stormi is often found observing chaos rather than participating in it. She is a low-maintenance cat who does not need the constant play that some cats desire. Instead she is often found napping or watching. Stormi currently lives with dogs and cats and does well. She is not the most confident around new dogs, however she can live well with nice cat-friendly dogs. Stormi is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on her vaccinations. If a name ever fit a cat it’s definitely Hope’s. She came into the rescue on the brink of death and we weren’t sure if she was going to make it. We kept hope that she would. With lots of love, medical care and nurturing hope is finally ready to find her forever home. Hope is full of life. She runs and plays with all of the other kittens. When she’s done playing she’s snuggled up to her sister. Hope loves to sit in the dust pan and “help” you sweep. She protects you from the broom attacking you lol. Hope lives in a home with cats and dogs and gets along with everyone. Hope is more laid back than her sister and loves cat beds. Her favorite ones are like tents for her to hide in. As lively as hope is she does have chronic herpes, which just means that she often has a kitty cold that requires inexpensive treatment to resolve. Any cats living with Hope should be kept up to date on all vaccinations and separated whenever she is displaying cold symptoms. Klaus was born around 3/19/2023. He's a HUGE lovebug that adores people. He likes to be picked up and he'll climb right in your lap if you sit down and even up on your back if you let him! His previous owner was moving and was not allowed to take along all her pets, so we are trying to find this guy a new place to live. He likes some cats, but does need time to warm up to them. He would benefit from having an enclosed outdoor enclosure since he seems happiest outside (at least here at the shelter), but without the danger of him wandering off or getting hit by a car. This nice girl was abandoned with her baby Dottie here at the shelter in June. She was a little shy at first, but has warmed up to the staff more as she has been with us.
