Story
Meet Sonny, the handsome orange and white gentleman who has faced life's challenges with grace and resilience. Born in December 2015, Sonny first joined our family in December 2020, and his journey since then is nothing short of inspiring. Sonny's story took it’s first turn when he was rescued, thin and sickly, from a dog fighting ring. He spent several months under our care, where he not only regained his health but also tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). However, his FIV status never deterred us from finding him the loving home he deserved. In February 2021, a compassionate young couple embraced Sonny's FIV+ status and adopted him, assuring us they would provide him with all the love and care he needed. Sadly, due to family conflicts, this promise was broken, and Sonny returned to us in August. Sonny is not just a cat; he's a real sweetheart and a big, lovable teddy bear. He thrives on companionship and will quietly follow you around as you go about your day, settling down next to you when you take a seat. His endearing 'chirps' are his way of saying, 'I'm here, and I'd love your company,' and his purrs start the moment he receives your attention. While Sonny has a mellow and easy-going demeanor, he also has a playful side that will warm your heart. Watching him play is a joy in itself. Recently, we learned that Sonny has kidney disease, but he's stable with a special diet to maintain his health. Sonny has shown immense gratitude for the love he's received, and he deserves nothing less than a happy home and secure love for the rest of his life. If you're ready to open your heart and home to this incredible survivor and gentle soul, Sonny is more than ready to become a cherished member of your family. Give him the chance to fill your life with love, warmth, and companionship like no other.August 18, 2024, 2:07 am

Story
Taylor is our stunning Tortie princess with mesmerizing golden eyes and bursts of vibrant orange in her coat. Born just after Christmas 2023, Taylor started her life on the streets but has since found her way into our hearts. Taylor's personality is as captivating as her beautiful Tortie pattern. Known as the 'Tortie Princess' due to her sometimes demanding nature, she is a true lap hog, often climbing into any available lap the moment someone sits down. While she loves affection, it's important to stay engaged with her, as she may give a gentle nip when she's had enough attention. In our community room, Taylor thrives and enjoys playing with other cats, especially her BFF Zoey. She also cherishes her independent time, often finding a quiet spot to observe or take a nap. Her mix of sweetness, sass, and independence makes her a unique and delightful companion. If you're looking for a cat with a vibrant personality who will brighten your home with her lively spirit and affectionate nature, Taylor is the purrfect match. Come meet this Tortie princess and let her charm her way into your heart and your home.August 18, 2024, 2:07 am

Story
Hi my name is Vader, I am a neutered male, less than 2 years young. I was rescued after a nice Noah’s Bark volunteer heard that me and my siblings were on our way to get dumped in the canyons to be coyote food. My siblings have all been adopted. Now it is my turn to find a furever home. I love playing, I like toys like small stuffed mice and small soccer balls. I have medium length fur with some extra poof near my tail. I am very sweet but take a little while to warm up to new people. I am used to being in a busy home with other cats and dogs, I love being around my cat friends and like sleeping in quiet corners of the house. I also love to sit at the top of the cat tree and observe my surroundings. I would do best in a home with another cat to hang out with. I am ready for a home of my own where I will be loved forever. Our adoptions are restricted to residents within 30 miles of the South Bay area of Los Angeles. We do not ship animals or do long distance adoptions. See our adoption policies for more details on our adoption process. Story
Hi we are the Forest Friends litter and we are 3 months old. I am Foxy. Our story didn’t start so good when our mother, a feral cat, gave birth to us on our foster mom’s porch without knowing what a nice lady she is. It was very scary at first, our mom was very skinny and skittish but fortunately our Foster Momma took us all in and kept us warm so we wouldn’t starve or get hurt on the streets. We are healthy, strong playful kittens who are now looking for our forever homes. We have kitten energy and like to play in cat tunnels, climb cat trees, and like to wrestle our cat foster brothers and then take long naps after supper. When we are sleepy and tired we like to cuddle with our doggy foster sisters who do a great job of taking care of us. Oh and did we mention, we love snacks? We are interested in going to a great home that will love us and take care of us. We will do well in a home with other cats and or large and small dogs. We all love to tussle and play together, but Loris and Foxy make a great twin duo, Squirrel and Badger love wrestling and Moose and Wolf love the cuddles. Will you be our forever home? Our adoptions are restricted to residents within 30 miles of the South Bay area of Los Angeles. We do not ship animals or do long distance adoptions. Story
Meet Mr. Earl Gray. He looks a lot like one of our Forest Friends kittens, Wolf, but he isn’t related. He is another little kitten that “showed up” at our volunteers home. We are pretty sure he was dumped. Our volunteer heard a baby kitty crying and crying and couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. Finally the next day she located him and called him to her, and he ran as fast as he could to her and jumped up in her arms and was instantly purring! He is just way too friendly and people oriented to have been born on the streets. He gravitates to people. If you walk on two legs then you are his best friend and it’s even better if you have a little treat to share! He is being fostered in a home with other cats and 2 dogs and he is fine with them. But his preference is to be snuggled up next to you or wrapped around your neck asleep! He’s about 15 weeks old and a Russian Blue lookalike! Earl just wants a best friend, maybe he can be yours! Our adoptions are restricted to residents within 30 miles of the South Bay area of Los Angeles. We do not ship animals or do long distance adoptions. See our adoption policies for more details on our adoption process. Story
Female KittenHoney (DOB August 4, 2023 Approximate)   Female kitten, domestic short hair, white coat with tabby and orange/calico markings on ears and tail.   Honey is a little doll and a little shy.  Loves to play with her siblings and can ‘hang’ with the bigger boys. She cuddles when she’s ready. She doesn’t ‘talk’ much but has a loud purr. She loves to explore and hide and pounce out on other kittens. Her name is Honey because when she came the neighbor said she’s the sweetest thing she’d ever seen!! Would do well with other animals, especially smaller animals.   She was bottle fed as a baby. Rescued with her 3 other siblings, she is the smallest one of the litter. Eats on her own now and is litter box trained.
