Story
Hi there! My name is T'Challa because I am a black panther, sleek and stealth with grace. If that means clumsy with a goofy attitude, that’s me! I was born around March 21, 2023, and found with my siblings with no mamma along with an injury to my eye, before I was rescued by Paw Prints in the Sand Animal Rescue. My rough beginnings haven’t stopped me from being full of love and endless energy. I love to play and cuddle and purr loudly when being held and petted. I'm a loveable and cuddly kitten who will steal your heart with my playful antics. I was the first to bolt from my room to try to check out the rest of the apartment. I walk like I didn’t just escape – nothing to see here! I'm looking for my forever home where I can be loved and cherished. Come meet me at an adoption event soon!"

Story
Hey there! My name is Silver and I'm named after the Marvel character, Silver Surfer. I was born around March 21, 2023, and was found with my siblings with no mamma before I was rescued by Paw Prints in the Sand Animal Rescue. I'm a kitten that goes for it in everything I do. I play hard and sleep hard. The banging on the door is not me trying to get out; it's me bouncing off the walls! I have a bit of a "paw" fetish - when I'm sleepy and cuddly I like to suckle on my siblings’ paw beans. I meow sadly when I'm refused a paw. It's adorable! I love to find a comfy place to sleep that is close to my foster parent or even on them. I’m looking for my forever home where I can be loved and cherished. Will that be you?"

Story
Hi, I'm Mozzi (Mozzarella), an irresistibly cute, lovable kitten who loves running and hanging out with my foster family. I get along well with kids and other cats, I joined the rescue at the age of 6 weeks, along with my 3 other siblings. I have had indirect contact with dogs, and I’m not a big fan, but I could get used to them with time. I get along alright with all the other animals at my foster home, but we get into fights on occasion. I just love to get love from my foster mom and spend lots of time with her. I was dumped outside a Petco in a box with a free sign on it. I do have one Medical issue called Pectus Excavatum it is a condition where my sternum (chest bone) was malformed at birth, and it means that my chest is too small and that there is not enough room for all of my organs. I am currently a normal, energetic cat. My condition just means we are not sure what the future holds for my lifespan. I would love to be part of your caring family. With love Mozzi

Story
Its Martini! This little one was initially part of our TNR program but we saw she was friendly enough to try and give her a new chance at life. Martini has been in our care for over a year now due to her exceptionally shy nature. She has been working on accepting love, but is still a timid cat. Martini is curious about the people on her life, but prefers to be loved from a distance. She absolutely loves all her cat friends, playing with wand toys, and eating her favorite creamy treats. Martini needs someone with lots of patience and understanding. Her forever person will understand and respect her boundaries of being loved from a distance. She will come close enough to get treats, but is not a huge fan of getting pets/scratches. Martini would love to go to a home with another friendly cat.

Story
Mirabel is the life of the party. She is bold, outgoing, and runs the show even though she is a petite girl! We would call her a princess, but she's more like a queen. Mirabel is unafraid of anything and will be the first to explore. She is independent and can keep herself entertained, but she also loves to play with you! Once she's done playing, she'll come find the nearest cozy human for some kisses, purrs, and cuddles in your lap. Don't let her RBF fool you, this girl is as sweet as pie. She'll make biscuits on your lap with a nice mouthful of furry blanket. She likes to always be near the action, even if that means you're just watching TV together. Her favorite past time is watching the toilet water go down the bowl. Close second is hiding in the cat tube to pounce any cat, dog, or human that comes by. Mirabel would do best in a home with a playmate. She gets along well with cats, dogs, and humans. Apply to adopt the queen today!

Story
Oh Bunny… where shall we begin?! This adorable gray tabby is both sweet n spicy. She came to us as a lonely kitten in need of some friends and plenty of love.. and she has received plenty of both! Don’t let her little grump face and spicy attitude fool you, Bunny is a very silly and playful girl who loves to play with her kitty friends. Her personality has definitely taken shape while she’s been under our care. She rose to fame after becoming the face of our latest TNR campaign. She even has her own segment on IG called “bunny says” where she gives her brutally honest opinions about everything. Bunny is such a character, however; she can intimidate even the most seasoned cat lovers. While Bunny girl makes a great cuddle companion, she does have an initial spicy phase until she builds trust with her new friends. Not to worry! It doesn’t last long and her foster mom is willing to assist with transitioning to her new home. Bunny is looking to go to a forever home with her pal, Charles, or to a home with another young, energetic cat like herself. Her perfect person will be patient and understanding of her need to feel safe before showing her loving personality.

Story
Meet Juice Box! This petite orange spotted girl has the silliest personality. A former colony cat, she thinks pets are the best thing ever, and will flop around at your feet like a fluffy fish and bump your hand until you give her more. She loves to eat (which is essential, because Juice Box is on an important weight gain journey) and has a sweet little meow and snorty purr. Juice is a bit shy around new people, places, and objects, but once she warms up, she has so much love to give.

Daniel might be a little shy at first, but with patience and love, he’ll come out of his shell and show you just how playful and affectionate he can be. Once he feels safe, he enjoys chasing toys and snuggling up for some cozy cuddle time. Daniel would do best in a home without young children (under 10) due to his mouthy play style. If you’re looking for a gentle and sweet companion who just needs a little time to warm up, Daniel is the perfect match for you!

Story
A Great Pair To Choose!Taffy likes to Cuddle - Taffy has a brown muzzle and her brother Ringo looks similar, but has a white face. When we first met Taffy, she was very reserved and uncertain about her new home. She has blossomed and is super affectionate. Once she gets to know you and feels safe, she will be affectionate with you, too. Basically, Taffy likes to get to know you before she falls head over heels for you! She will be slow to greet strangers. But if the guests give her some playtime with interactive toys she begins playing and forgets the people she didn’t know.  She is very quiet yet very curious and smart. Taffy plays and cuddles with both of her brothers.  Taffy would be happy in a home without children or dogs. A quiet house is best for her.  STEPS TO ADOPTION:  I'm DiAnna and I can help you with information and arrange a meeting in the caregiver’s home.  However, we like to get to know the potential adopter before formalizing an application to discover if the cat of interest is a good fit. Some cats like getting all the attention and do best with people at home, some don't want to live with other cats and some don't like dogs and children. We want everyone to be happy! I know all the cats in our network and can speak with you about your search after I get to know you.  COVID has changed the way we do things so the interview process starts with you sharing in your inquiry about yourself, others in the home or others that visit regularly, current pets and about the ones that you have had in the past and where they are now. Your work schedule is important, and what lifestyle you plan for your pet; indoor only, indoor, but allowed out sometimes, indoor / outdoor.  I look forward to hearing from you and getting to know you. I am available to speak with you by phone and help you with your search but after you introduce yourself.    Then we proceed to a formal application and we accept short video clips of yourself, others in the home and the areas of your home that the cat will have access to.  A LITTLE ABOUT US: “We Specialize in “Pet-quality, Friendly, Sociable Cats and Kittens that Live in Private Homes with People That Love Them!” You, too, could become a foster parent to a cat, or a kitten litter! Just ask! It is super rewarding and a nice way to get to know cats before you adopt! Community Animal Network believes that all young beings enjoy the action of playing with another. Kittens adopted in pairs with their BFF or, “equal energy playmate” are happiest when having friends to play with. Just like all young beings rough and tumble together making it fun to watch, too.  This kitty is being cared for by Community Animal Network, a non-profit organization founded by DiAnna Pfaff-Martin in 1996. C.A.N is a veterinary medical rescue with a vet internship program for aspiring veterinarians as young as 15 years old. The founder of Community Animal Network, DiAnna Pfaff-Martin, is very particular about the quality of raising the kittens with vitamins, proper diet. A board-certified feline specialist provides the animals with their veterinary medical care and Community Animal Network offers veterinary internships to young people as young as 15 that have aspirations of becoming a vet.  Feral kittens are tamed to "pet quality" and rescue cats that are shy are disclosed and termed, "rescue quality" with a lower placement fee. With all adoptions DiAnna Pfaff-Martin gives valuable information about cat care in a "feline pet-parenting consultation" to adopters. The most current information is made available about how to keep your cat healthy, pet foods, litters and how to make your cat more affectionate and her specialty is teaching, “How To Make Cats Happy!” The AVID microchip is implanted in every cat and the chips’ registration fee is included in the adoption and the animals come with a 30-day heath commitment and return policy. Friendly and OutgoingRingo is the first to greet strangers and he has a white face and his sister Taffy has a brown muzzle. Ringo knows he is a star! He is all about being the first to be noticed and get in the action and has the most outgoing personality.  He is very affectionate and likes to cuddle and sleep next to you.  He is incredibly curious, intelligent and is super playful.  He loves all types of toys and likes to jump and climb.  He has a lot of energy so pairing him up with a playmate is good. His sister Taffy lets him lead the way and we think she would pair well with Ringo.
