Story
Hi, my name is Westley and I am one of the "Princess Bride" kitties! I have two brothers and a sister and we are looking for our forever home! We did have another sister but we were in such bad shape when we were finally rescued that she didn't make it. She actually died of flea anemia. We would have too if it had not been for a wonderful woman who rescued us and made sure we got the healthcare we needed! And I for one am so grateful! All I have to do is look at my foster mommy and I start purring! I love to curl up in your lap and purr & purr & purr! Of course this is after I'm worn out from all the playing with my siblings! We also have a new friend by the name of Jack! Check him out! He is a Siamese Snowshoe but he is a "One-eyed Jack". You can read about his story too. I would love to be adopted with one of my siblings or Jack if it all possible, but not required. I will love you forever!  Love, Westley. !!!LAP KITTY!!! Please be aware our rescue's policy is that kittens be adopted in pairs when there aren't other furry pets in the home for the kitten to bond with. Story
Hi my name is Martha and I'm a sweet little tabby and white girl. I have four other siblings (all brothers!) and we were all born on the Fourth of July so we all have patriotic names! Check us out! We will be ready for adoption in a couple weeks. We pretty much want to just play all day but when we tire out we do want a nice warm lap to snuggle up on. We have been handled since the day we were born so we're all super sweet and loving. I would love to be adopted with one at my siblings if it all possible. But if you have a furry friend for me to bond with that might work too! Our favorite toy or the spring and a string on a stick! But we'll play with just about anything! All you've got to do is look at me and I will purr! Adopt a pair of us and you won't be sorry! We will keep you laughing!! I'm shy with new people and hiss some, but that's just me being a little afriad. Take me home and give me the patience I need to be your friend. Love, Martha Please be aware our rescue's policy is that kittens be adopted in pairs when there aren't other furry pets in the home for the kitten to bond with. Story
One day we got a call about an injured Momma cat. She had gashes on her back from possibly an animal attack or other injury. With help, we got her trapped and to a foster, who nursed her back to health. Her back healed and you would never know she had been hurt. She also ended up being a sweet girl though likes to hide when there's too many people around. But for people she knows, she'll stay out an hang around. She has the cutest face and loves pets, she would be a wonderful companion for someone.  If interested, please fill out our application at bit.ly/7whskrsVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 21, 2024, 12:16 am

Story
Hi my name is Quinton and I am a cute little white and gray tabby boy who just wants to be loved! I was so afraid when I was finally rescued and brought to my foster mommy. All I wanted to do was get away from everybody and hide. But she has brought out the sweetness in me! Where I used to hiss and run, now I run to her and let her pick me up and I purr like crazy. My foster mommy lets me Sleep with her now and I just curl up in her arms and purr and give her nose kisses. She did tell me though that she's gonna have to start using the laser pointer at night to wear me out so I don't attack her toes when she's sleeping! It's just so hard because they're just so wiggly! Sure I will be afraid when I go to my forever home but it won't take me long to adjust! I'm so cute and chubby and I'm just a happy little boy once I know I'm loved. I love to play! Love love love to play! And especially love that laser pointer! I also love love love to eat! Will you take me home and give me enough time to feel safe and to fall in love with you? I will love you forever! Love, Quinton! Please be aware our rescue's policy is that kittens be adopted in pairs when there aren't other furry pets in the home for the kitten to bond with. Story
Livana (aka “Livy”) is a soft-spoken princess. She is beautiful and she knows it, with her long silky fur. She likes to sit on countertops and observe you, and will give a soft “meow” when she needs to be pet. As a strong-willed princess, she does what she wants. If she wants to cuddle, she will cuddle. If she wants to be loved on, she will be (until she has had enough, and then she will walk away with dignity). If she wants to be alone, she will be alone.   She also loves toys…but she may not always admit it.   Livy is particularly bonded to her mother, Rhea. It would be wonderful for them to be adopted together. Story
I had Emily since she was six weeks old. I adopted her from a family whose cat had kittens. I picked her because she has a unique face like the Phantom of the opera mask. Emily is 13 years old. She's very easy-going gets along with people, like to just lay certain places and watch everything around her. She's housebroken, likes to go outside on the porch but basically is in the house. I'm in rehab and my husband is going to a memory care facility. I need to rehome since the facility I am going to after my rehab does not accept cats. I hate doing this to her especially in her senior years but I'm hoping to find a good foster or someone to adopt her.

Story
I have had Baby Girl since my son rescued her from the streets at the time she was probably less than a year old and pregnant after she delivered the babies and I rehomed all the babies. I did get baby girl spaded. I have had her now the past 15 years i have been in Florida unfortunately due to my husband, going to a facility and me having to move to a place that does not accept animals. I need to rehome her. She loves to be outside during the day and she comes in at night. She is house broke and all the neighbors know her. She is very friendly and sociable

Story
We adopted Raven when she was a few months old from the shelter. She is such an amazing family dog. She is great with cats, dogs, and kids. She’s very protective of our little one and I feel very guilty re-homing her but I’m recently single and we adopted her together so he did most of the work with her and I work a lot so she spends most of her life in her crate alone now and I hate that for her. She is a high energy dog and needs a home with lots of love and attention that I unfortunately cannot provide. I have my hands full with my kids alone and she is not getting what she deserves. Raven Is very sweet loves attention and she also went through Boot Camp so she knows commands.

Story
LaRue has been a victim of a revolving door and, for whatever reason, isn't affected at all. Tossed out the first time, LaRue was found by our Rescue's VP and fostered until she was adopted. She stayed with her first family for a couple of years and returned when she and the other pets couldn't get along (she was being attacked). She was fostered by the VP again and then to me. She was adopted by a family after hearing of her sad story only to be returned 3 WEEKS later bc of a family move and inability to take the new pet. LaRue has been with me for about 6 months total (minus the 3 weeks) and she's just an amazing cat. Initially she would hide and keep to herself but recently she has started playing with the other two fosters and gets along well with everyone. LaRue is a smaller cat, although she's listed at 9#, and she gets along with male and female hoomans as well as her male foster friends. The only other female feline in the house is the overlord, so it isn't really fair to say she doesn't get along with other female cats. She would be fine as long as the other cat isn't aggressive. She isn't food aggressive and will allow nail trimming and other care like a champ. What LaRue DOESN'T need is another failed attempt at adoption. She comes back confused and depressed and it just isn't fair for her to keep getting tossed around. LaRue is a great little cat and will sneak in to our bed at night for little rubs, nudges, and kisses. LaRue is a vicious anole lizard chaser through the window screen and will entertain her audience for hours. No children or dog experience but slow introductions are appropriate and would probably be fine.

These pups are in Winter Garden, Florida too!

Not good with cats, Needs special attention, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
I adopted her 2 months ago from the lake county animal shelter. She was spayed the day before and given with no meds. She had bathroom issues the first week post surgery but following getting healed she began to use her shared liter box. She was taken to the vet, within her first week for dehydration. After recovery, she was using the litter box fine and share the room with my other cat who is 2. After a week of using the litter box she stoped and hasn’t since. We tried a second litter box, different types of litter and eventually put her in a separate room. Last month we took her to the vet for these issues. After samples came back fine. She had ear infection which we have been taking care of. After the follow up we were told she had a heart murmur and she had lost weight. Then again lost weight and maybe it was time to let go. A 4 dr saw her we were told there was no mummer and she was fine besides infections She is kind and gentle , needs more attention and financial then I have
