Lily is such a sweet girl, but she is very shy and will take quite a while to warm up to a new family and home. She came into the rescue with her mother, aunt, and siblings and her mother and aunt were semi feral and were fixed and returned. Her siblings all took a while to warm up and gain confidence but she has been the most fearful of all of them. She is also the only one left. She loves having her head scratched and really enjoys pets, but on her terms. She doesn't love being picked up but will curl up with you once she knows you. She does fine with other cats but will still need the right introduction to another adult cat. She doesn't really care for dogs and while she could tolerate a calm, disinterested dog, she would probably prefer a home without. She also would do best in a quiet home with older children.
