I'm a little cat with a big personality! I arrived at HOPE after having to be surrendered by the family that took me in after I was kicked out of my home. They loved me but I really didn't like their current cats. Most the lobby cat's here at the shelter annoy me a lot too, so I would prefer to be your only one. Other than that, I absolutely love people. I'm always ready for any kind of attention you give me. When I first got to the shelter I was a bit stressed and grouchy. So I may need a few days in your home to adjust before I'm ready for all that love, but I will get there quickly!

My name is Jax and I’ve been going through it a bit lately. First my owner passed away and his family was unable to keep my sister and I so we were brought to HOPE. The people here are super nice but I was still a bit unsure and scared at first. My sister knew we were safe and was friendly and affectionate so I started adventuring out of my cage too. Then one night my sister passed away suddenly. Nobody is sure what happened since she never acted like anything was wrong but she was quite frail so the people think she might have had a hidden sickness. So i’m a bit lonely now and I’d love a nice, calm house to live in. I’m still a bit shy and unsure in new spaces but as long as you let me learn at my own pace, I will be nothing but sweet. I’m laid-back and calm at 8 years old. I don’t love the other cats but I mainly just ignore them and do not like when dogs get in my space at all, but not many cats do!

I'm Quill! I came to HOPE with 4 young kittens and also took in a little orphan that needed a mama and siblings the same day we came in. I was an outdoor cat in my past, so I'm pretty sweet but still a little bit shy and unsure. I may take a little getting used to the indoor life and new people. I'm only 18 months old, so not too stuck in my ways yet! I do love when I get affection here, even if I try not to show it.

Meet Ziggy & Panda! Two handsome boys, all dressed up and ready to meet you. These two were adopted from us as kittens, in fact, their mom is still with us. Unfortunately, they were returned due to the kids in the home not being respectful of them. They did just fine with the children but after those behaviors started, they became scared and began hiding. These two have been together since they were born, we really would like for them to go together. Right now, they are still pretty shy but always friendly and open to affection. They roam our communal cat room just fine.

Our senior cat is suffering from feline dementia. She is not interested in playing anymore and every time that Briar tries to initiate play with her, she attacks him. He defends himself and they end up fighting. He doesn't understand why she no longer wants to play and she doesn't understand why he won't leave her alone. She's now hiding under the bed regularly. They fight almost daily and it's breaking our hearts. Briar deserves a home where he can play and be played with more often and Shadow deserves some peace and quiet. He's playful, loves lap time, loves the laser light, and loves to play with curled up pipe cleaners. I’m sure he would get along with another cat after proper instructions. We will hook you up with everything you need - food, litter & box, toys, beds and a carrier. He is fixed, litterbox trained and up to date on shots. He is microchipped and strictly indoors.
