Story
Abbie is a beautiful 4 year old girl who knows what she wants. She can be very affectionate and will reach out for more pets when she thinks you are done. Abbie can be a little unpredictable in her reactions, and we believe she would do best as the only princess in a home without young children or other pets.We are pre-approving applicants. To schedule an appointment, first fill out our adoption application ( https://cb8f5fb7-0a87-40fa-8ea5-50c4da40acd3.filesusr.com/ugd/c8cb9f_8cd13866ecd54a42a2b424d2b2f8dc10.pdf ). This will ask you questions about which animal you’re interested in, your family, other furry members in the household, whether you own or rent your home and who your Veterinarian is. These allow us to make the best match possible. We touch base with your landlord due to the unfortunate number of landlords who do not allow pets in Franklin County. Our goal with checking in with your Veterinarian is to ensure that the animals of FCAR receive the medical care they deserve. Once we have a positive reference from your landlord (if you rent) and Veterinarian, we will contact you to schedule an appointment with us! If you don't have any pets we understand you would not have a vet reference and we ask for applicants to substitute a personal reference. Please keep in mind, appointments are first come, first serve, based on when your application is approved. Please be patient with your Veterinarian and landlord, as their staff and businesses have been affected by COVID-19 as well. We are incredibly thankful that there has been no shortage in interest! This being said, our staff is limited and we are doing our absolute best to approve applications in a timely manner. This process can take up to a few weeks, but most are approved before then.

Story
Our Pets are fostered and physically located in North Carolina until adopted. We can transport to your location or one of our many north eastern location. We have a transporter that delivers every other week. Cha-Cha was pulled from a rural shelter. She has been with us since she was maybe 8 weeks. She is spunky and full of sass. She is ok with being held, but she would rather be friends on her own terms. She is happier doing her own thing. She is not one to crawl up in your lab and demand attention. She is a very cute cat though. She is good with other cats and she is good with dogs. This baby will go home current on all age appropriate vetting, deworming and on flea heartworm prevention, and microchipped. She is spayed! This kitten will see our vet prior to transport and will receive a complete physical and certificate of health issued by our vet. The adopter will get all the health records with adoptions. We require a pre screen application to adopt. You can get that on our website at www.saveamuttkennel.net
