Hi! My name is Mittens. About 10 years ago, I showed up on the doorstep of a house in Rensselaer. I am polydactyl (having an extra toe) on all 4 paws. My coloring makes me look like I am wearing one of the thumb-hole sweaters. My family members: 2 other female cats (an orange tabby and another tuxedo (my facial mirror-image)), both around 13 years old; 1 male American & English Cocker Spaniel mix, also about 13 years old; 2 female humans. I’ve had a wonderful time living here, but the dog & I don’t get along too well. He smells like dog & I don’t like it. We’ve had some changes in the house recently (1 human moved out & my orange tabby sister passed away). I’m having more issues with the dog because I don’t have the human’s undivided attention & I get mad at him for being here. My dream home is one where I am the only pet, or where there are plenty of humans to spend time with.
