Story
So far Ticky is doing well since his move from Feral room to gen pop. He is a calm cat now, but still will not allow touch. I can place my hand millimeters from his feet and he has no worries, just don`t touch, he will back away or raise his paw to swipe. He would do good as an inside cat and may even come around to be able to pet eventually. If you are looking for a calm companion that does no have to be touched or snuggled right away (or ever), and have a quiet home, Ticky is your guy!

Story
Poor chunky Chelsea is bit of a grump because she is the pokey. She was wandering outside in these cold temps and it is just too dangerous out there for a sweet (grompy) chunky cat.Chelsea doesn`t seem to like anyone or anything, but she eventually purrs when petted. She may need to be an only cat? And lots of patience to get over her grompiness in a new home.

Barn Cat ProgramWorking cats, such as barn cats, are not typically suited to being indoor pets. These independent felines prefer to roam and hunt in outdoor environments working for you, hunting mice and other pests. To be eligible to adopt a working cat you must be able to provide a period of confinement for at least two weeks, and potentially longer, to help them acclimate to their new surroundings. During this time, they can adjust to the idea that your property is their new home base where they can work to keep pests at bay. You must provide them with safe shelter that protects them from harsh weather conditions and potential predators. They should be fed once daily and have constant access to fresh water to keep them healthy and happy. These diligent workers will earn their keep by naturally controlling pests on your property, making them valuable allies in maintaining a pest-free environment.

Story
Felix is a shy guy, middle aged, sweet, but having a hard time adjusting in the shelter. He was neutered recently and still has a lot of testosterone to work out of his system. So he has huge chunky tom cat cheeks for a little while longer. Felix loves his chonky cheeks scrubbed along with his earss and shoulders, as long as it is someone calm and patient. This big boy also had his teeth cleaned and has two broken fangs. He has no problem with them, but will not be a cat that can catch and depend on himself for food. This boy is destined for much better things than being a barn cat!
