Story
Dairy is a very opinionated old lady who does not enjoy being picked up and will complain loudly about everything. She will also wait by the fridge at all times, any time of day to ask for all the wet food you can give her in the world. She also loves to sit on the couch beside or on top of her favourite humans. She can get used to kittens/ other pets over time but as she is a senior lady it takes awhile for her to get used to change so gradual introductions should occur. She is 15 years old and I was watching her for a friend until that friend admitted that she does not want her back. I am about to make several large moves over the span of a few years and as such I don't think it would be fair to put her through that much stress. Overall she is a well tempered cat for a senior and the only medical issue she has is arthritis.

Story
Syb is the last of her siblings to get adopted and she's ready for her forever home! She was abandoned by her mother along with 4 other siblings, outside before a storm. Unfortunately one of her siblings didn't make it and at that point they were rescued and brought to their foster mom. They were only 2 weeks old and had to be bottle fed around the clock. They battled with parasites and malnutrition and after a few weeks they were fully healthy and playful little kittens. Syb has had other possible adoptions fall through, by no fault of her own. She loves to snuggle and will sleep in bed with you. She also loves to play but she's very chill most of the time. She's easy-going and gets along with other dogs and cats, but would do fine in a home on her own. Her adoption fee includes everything involved with getting her to you in Canada (vet certificates, rabies vaccine, adoption fee, airline fee and carrier).

Story
Stella and her 4 siblings were born in their foster mom's living room to a very feral but loving momma. They stayed with her until they were 8 weeks old and their mom was fixed and released outside (but never really left). Stella was the first one born and has always been an adventurous and independent girl. She does love cuddles and kisses but she really loves to play and explore. She would do best in a home with another young or playful cat and she does well with dogs too! Her adoption fee includes everything involved with getting her to you in Canada (vet certificates, rabies vaccine, airline fee, adoption fee and carrier).

Story
Montgomery (Monty for short) is very curious, he follows his foster parents all over the house. He has started to enjoy pets and gentle brushing, and can be very silly, lying on his back with his feet in the air while playing with his toys or sleeping in that position. He has started sitting on the couch with his foster parents and has started embracing more and more gentle pets on his cheeks and back. He is still quite shy and nervous of loud sounds or sudden movements. He requires a patient and gentle adopter who is willing to spend time sitting with him, giving him treats, and letting him sniff their hand, he love to sniff a good elbow or hand to say hello. His foster parents spend a lot of time talking to him in a gentle voice, this has really helped his confidence. Monty spends most of his day grooming his bonded buddy Molloy. He LOVES temptation treats and will eat them out of our hands.Monty and Molloy grew up together in the same colony; they spend all their time together, sleeping, grooming, and wrestling with each other. They are a bonded pair and need to be adopted together! They will require a patient adopter who has experience with street cats, who understands that it will take some time to open up. They need someone who has space in their home to give them a quiet place to adjust to a new environment, it can take a little while for street cats to open up and feel safe. These boys also require an adopter who has experience getting street cats into a cat carrier, as they do not enjoy being picked up.As a senior cat, Montgomery requires yearly bloodwork to monitor his health. His next test is due in March 2024. Like all ACR cats, Montgomery has been treated for fleas and parasites.A little about Molloy:Molloy is very playful and silly. He loves being brushed as well as pets and chin scratches. He spends most of his day trying to get Monty to groom him and lick his head. He adorably lays on his back with his feet in the air waiting for Monty to come over and groom him.To see more of these two, check out their instagram page @montyandmolloyTo check out a video of Monty & Molloy loving each other's company, follow this link: https://vimeo.com/908895139?share=copy

Every morning Molloy runs over squeaking looking for love and attention. The second his foster parents pet him he flops over on his side with excitement. He also enjoys being brushed and has perfect litter box habits. Check out his Instagram for flopping videos. He loves Monty his bonded brother, they spends most of their days snuggling. He loves to try to get Monty to groom him and lick his head. He adorably lays on his back with his feet in the air waiting for Monty to come over and groom him.He is very food motivated and loves to run across the room chasing after treats. When his fosters first got Molloy he was very shy. Then he realized that they have treats and food and he embraced attention and pets. When it's dinner time he squeals in excitement or runs around our legs waiting for food :)Molloy needs a patient adopter who is willing to spend time with him, and who will give him LOTS of love and attention! He loves pets, and likes to rub up against his foster parents so they keep petting him. He does have a nervous side and will give you a gentle swat (no claws) as a warning. As a senior cat, Molloy requires yearly bloodwork to monitor his health. His next test is due in March 2024. Story
Jasper is a very handsome and quiet black cat. He is shy around new people, but a lot more outgoing than his brother. He loves playing with small balls and batting toys, and using flat scratching pads on the floor.Jasper will sometimes tolerate being gently petted on the head. He will give a warning swat when he's had enough, but rarely uses his claws. Over the last 14 months, Jasper has warmed up a lot to people, and with the right owner and a lot of patience, he might one day be a cuddler.Jasper (black) and Abraham (orange) are senior brothers who lived in a managed feral colony, among the "Simpsons seniors" cats. They are a bonded pair who must be adopted together. They adore each other, and love to wrestle and play. They are also okay with other cats. We don't know how they would be with dogs. They hide from children and strangers.Jasper and Abraham are very shy, and still being socialized, after 14 months of living with their foster mom. Both boys are very quiet, but will chatter a lot among themselves when left alone to play. They are both toothless, and can eat dry and wet food. They are healthy, though prone to over-eating. They are playful, good about using a scratching post, and have excellent litter box habits.Jasper has had major dental surgery with the majority of his teeth removed. As a senior cat, Jasper requires yearly bloodwork to monitor his health. His next bloodwork is due in May 2025. Jasper is negative for FIV and FeLV. Like all ACR cats, Jasper has been treated for fleas and parasites.Jasper must be adopted with Abraham.Video: Abe and Jasper cuddlinghttps://va.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_rvranazLfb1qaimww_720.mp4** In honor of senior cats everywhere, two generous sponsors have teamed up to cover the adoption fees of both Abraham AND Jasper! You can take both of these handsome boys home with you where they can become as much a part of your life as they already are each other's.

Story
Microchipped, DOB April 3, 2011 Puppy's personality is a delightful mix of friendliness and outgoing charm. He's the kind of cat who greets you with a purr and a gentle nudge, always ready for a cuddle or a warm lap to curl up on. Puppy is extremely friendly and always delighted to meet new guests. He adores napping in cozy spots around the house, and also loves playtime with his feather toy. Although he may not be the most talkative of cats, Puppy will definitely let you know when we wants attention. He loves being around people but also enjoys his alone time and can keep himself occupied. One of Puppy's endearing habits is his love for giving massages through kneading, it's his way of showing affection. Puppy also often gets the zoomies in the evening and loves having his face scratched. Puppy is on a prescription diet that includes dry and wet kidney care food.Puppy needs to be the only pet in his forever home. Thank you for welcoming a senior cat into your family - an adoption fee of your choice is appreciated, vs. our standard adult cat adoption fee of $200.

Story
Microchipped, DOB July 4, 2017 FIV Positive When I first came into foster care, I hid under the chair, and only came out to use the litter box and eat. It took a while, but I became more confident and decided that the world would be better with me in it. Now I love to be near people, whether I know them or not. I headbutt and rub against anyone’s legs, chatting and chirping, hoping for a snack and a good chin scratch. I have become very comfortable with snuggling up against people and love curling up on their chest while we watch TV. I’m generally chilled out but am getting more playful and like to chase the laser and wand toy . I’ll do best with people who can read my body language as I do sometimes get a bit excited when people lavish too much love on me, and my nails are sharp! I can prove to you that I am a good boy though, by very gently taking a treat out of your hand. My foster parents have been teaching me manners and boundaries; I have even learned to sit on command ! I have FIV, but my vet tells me I am in GREAT shape! There are just a couple of things that you’ll need to keep an eye on. I have a sensitive stomach but am doing really well on my current hypoallergenic food from the vet and would do best if I stayed on it. Left to my own devices, I over-groom which can make my skin quite sore. There may be some treatment options that we can explore but in the meantime, I always wear a soft collar to stop me nibbling myself too much. I’ve gotten used to wearing it and think it only enhances my cuteness! Rambo has tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). FIV+ cats can live long happy lives with a good diet, low stress, indoor homes, loving families, and annual vet check-ins. They don't require medication and can live in a home with other non-FIV+ cats, as the virus is only passed to other cats by blood (i.e. deep bite marks) and can't be passed to dogs or humans. Please don't judge them based on a blood test!

Story
DOB: October 29, 2013, Microchipped Piper, a beautiful and sociable feline adores engaging in playful activities like chasing laser pointers or bounding after balls, particularly when someone tosses them her way. She's known to shadow individuals whom she believes might indulge in a game with her. While Piper enjoys snuggling up on laps occasionally, she also appreciates having her own space for slumber. She diligently uses her cat scratchers instead of the furniture, demonstrating her good manners. Overall, she's a delightful and low-maintenance cat to care for. Piper follows a strict veterinary diet and takes a daily steroid pill, seamlessly incorporated into her food without any fuss. Additionally, she supplements with FortiFlora Pro. It's crucial to acknowledge that these dietary and medical requirements are lifelong. Due to past health issues, Piper uses the litter box for defecation, but opts for a puppy pad or floor for urination if a pad isn't available. While there's potential for re-training her to use the litter box consistently, she's currently in the process of adapting. Piper's vocal talents are quite amusing; she can produce a variety of sounds, from a squeaky door to an angry crow, particularly when seeking attention. However, her vocalizations are brief, and she remains quiet during the night, making her a considerate companion. Story
Microchipped, DOB: Dec 1, 2015 Snowball is a quirky, gentle and very loving cat. She is very friendly with humans and doesn't seem to mind the resident cats in her foster home. She would do well with an adopter who is home a lot, as she is happiest hanging out with her people soaking in all their love. Funny quirks: She has an odd but funny habit of having her tongue stick out. The blep is strong with this one! She is very comfort-driven and with her humans, so expect her to be your shadow. You will love this funny friendly cat! Thank you for welcoming a senior cat into your family - an adoption fee of your choice is appreciated, vs. our standard adult cat adoption fee of $200.

10 Years old Please note, this is a posting through the Courtesy Adoption Program. Please contact the current owner directly for more details. Their details are below. Pooper is a shy girl who needs a minute to warm up to her new person, but when she does, she will be on your lap expecting cuddles and scritches! She is missing her elderly mom who has dementia and had to move into a long term care home where pets are not allowed. She loves her comfy plush bed pushed up next to the warm radiator where she can take long naps with her favourite carrot toy. She would do best in a quiet home with no other pets or young children. She would love to be the focus of your attention after she's had some time to settle in. She LOVES her treats and Churu tubes are a favourite, so keep those on hand for bribes! As you can see from her photo, she's excellent at Zoom calls! Grey Poupon is participating in our Courtesy Adoption Posting Program and is not the property of Toronto Cat Rescue. Toronto Cat Rescue does not accept responsibility for any pet placements that result from this service. Franklin loves cats and birds and he will spend time with other pets but he is still shy around people. Story
Alistair and Oliver are 6 year old Bengal brothers (litter mates), who have been together for their entire lives as kittens from the breeder. They are among the most affectionate, intelligent, energetic, talkative, curious and playful animals you could imagine. Both are highly talkative, who will be greeting you with playful meows and mews throughout the day and when you come home (and when it is dinner time!). When it comes to play, Alistair is more calculative compared to Oliver. Alistair will really think and stalk before committing to the attack and can be harder to engage in play. Oliver in contrast will bounce off walls and is extremely energetic in playing. In a new home, both Alistair and Oliver will thrive with having more space to run and engage in play, along with having more attention and stimulation to further provide an enriching day to day life for them.
