Beautiful Bobby is eight-years-old and has been with us for over a year. This bigger girl has quite the personality and can be a bit moody, to say the least. Bobby has warmed up to most staff members and when she is comfortable, she will climb into your lap and snuggle. She tends to only like attention and affection on her terms and will swat at you if she doesn't want to be pet. Bobby has been hanging out in the upstairs of our adoption building for most of her time here so she can stretch out and stay away from other cats. Bobby isn't fond of other cats but tolerates respectful dogs. She loves her scratching post, cardboard scratchers and taking over any space she deems worthy of laying down. Bolt is still very uncomfortable in the shelter environment and would benefit greatly from a quiet home to relax his days away. He is currently living in our free-roam cattery and enjoys the company of the other cats. He loves to run around and play with everyone or lay down for a nap next to his best friend, Fiat. Bolt does not do well with energetic environments and would thrive the most in a relaxed home, preferably with another cat. He is not a fan of being picked up but will allow you to gently pet him once he is comfortable with you. Pretty-Cat came to us in October 2022 making her one of our longest term residents! This girl was not adjusting well to the shelter environment and now that she has begun to come out of her shell she is ready to find a home to call her own! Cat is a very independent girl and likes being able to do things on her own terms. She previously lived in a home with only one person and would not do well in a home with other animals. When she has opened up to you, Cat is a very sweet girl who likes head pets and ear scratches. She would love to find a home with plenty of high places for her to snooze in and maybe a couple of well placed windows where she can watch the world go by while sunbathing. While she does not enjoy being picked up and had to be the one to decide when she gets attention, Cat has plenty of love to go around. She has become more and more playful as the days pass and is truly blossoming into a wonderful cat! As she is on the more independent side, Cat does not always seek out or want attention at all times. A home that is low energy would suit her just fine as long as she has plenty of things to explore and comfy spots to snooze. Pepper is an active and clever cat. He plays rough and likes to climb and run. He often climbs people with his claws and that can be a bit much. He is, however, extremely sweet and affectionate. He really is just love-starved. He currently lives in a room with his brother and two sisters. He and his brother do not get along well and we need to find separate homes for them. They were born in said room on April 24, 2023 when a stray cat gave birth in the room. We are currently looking to rehome all of them. We cannot financially afford to take care of them, nor do we have the time in our schedule. We would rather Pepper find a home where he can run freely and get a lot of attention. It is unknown if he will get along with another male cat due to not getting along with his brother. He will probably do fine in a household with a female cat or as an only cat. He has never had contact with dogs and he will probably be scared of them. Feel free to ask any questions.
