His foster got him to the vet for treatment where Wesley was found to have a birth defect on one of his front paws. Two front toes were growing into his pad. Those 2 toes were amputated and Wesley now shows very little effect. He jumps, runs and plays like any cat. Wesley is a very vocal, playful and extremely cuddly cat. Aspen is a love story! Originally rescued as a scared, feral baby; she was set to be a part of a neighboring cities TNR program. She was brought to us after her surgery because of her inability to camouflage with such a bright white coat. We knew we had to take a chance and help socialize this beautiful girl. With TONS of patience and baby steps, she's gone from hiding under beds and hissing to absolutely melting in your arms and soaking up every ounce of affection she missed out on in the first year of her life. She will thrive in many home environments, but will probably do best in a home with one other cat so that she can see her humans interact with others before warming up herself. She does have foster siblings so if you are looking to bring in a companion for her, we have options as they played a huge role in helping her become accustomed to domestic life!

Delilah is a sweetheart. She was found when her mom was trapped after having Delilah's litter. Every one of her siblings was adopted by someone in the neighborhood, except Delilah! She's been living in foster care for her entire life and is still patiently waiting for her home. Delilah is a shy and timid kitty. Though she loves to play (especially with her foster siblings) she is still very cautious and likes to let others go first. She has a very nurturing heart and will often mother the younger kittens and help them become comfortable moving around the house.

He was returned in December of 2024 because the husband in the household did not get along with Buddy. Buddy was taken to our vet for a health check. He received updated vaccines. He is neutered and litter box trained. He does have some sight loss probably due to age but gets along just fine in his foster home. He is declawed and craves attention. His all white coat is absolutely gorgeous. Buddy just wants a safe and loving home to spend the rest of his days. He gets along with dogs, children and adults but would probably do best as an only cat. I like to hang out and chase my kitty friends and would likely adapt well to dogs if I am introduced properly. Born 7/18/2016 Trinity, mother of the River Crew litter, (Rio, Frio, Sabine, Brazos, and Pecos), was found lying totally exhausted in the grass between a parking lot and an apartment complex on the west side of Fort Worth near the Trinity river with one of her newborn babies by her side. The remainder of the litter were discovered in a storm drain and reunited. Lola is a little shy until she gets to know you. She is very sweet, likes to be petted. She roams free among a bunch of fosters in a climate-controlled garage and gets along pretty well with them all. She is pretty smart. At feeding time, she jumps into an empty cage and waits her turn, meowing loudly to be next. She wants attention badly, and jumps up in her foster's lap any chance she gets. You can pet and pet, and she doesn’t want to leave. Born 1/27/2018 Lola was the mother of one kitten when found, but she didn’t like him. On the way to being brought to Meowtown, she escaped from the car, but was recaptured the next day. When she was spayed, it was discovered that in that short amount of time, she had gotten pregnant. Neville was shy at first. Not boisterous like his brothers. He is not afraid of the dogs that race through the laundry room to go outside. The two rat terriers try to kiss him and the one big dog that looks like a wolf steals his toys but he stays cool. He does not hiss back at the spoiled cat on the other side of the laundry room door that hisses and growls at him or the other spoiled cat that has stopped hissing at him. He does not talk or cry for attention as his siblings do, but will look intently at you and ask for and give affection. He is the only sibling that has not rushed the screen door or climbed the laundry shelves. Mellow and happy, he digs the furry worm things with a bell when danced on a kitty fishing pole. Born 6/13/2019 A sweet elderly woman trapped Neville and his four brothers with their feral mother behind her home in the country when they were about 3 months old. They were not completely feral and they listened when she spoke so sweetly to them in their big cage with the fluffy blankets. They made her laugh. Lil’ Panther’s coat is lovely and soft. He likes to stretch up to you like a baby reaching for you to pick him up and appreciate its exquisite awesomeness. He doesn’t like to be held for a long time, but wants a few kisses and a nuzzle or two. He is not a lap kitty, but prefers to lie near you, or on your head when you are sleeping to snuggle your ears. He likes to wrestle Lucha Libre style with his fellow foster buddy, Mojito. These two might need to be adopted together. He loves heights so would love a nice, tall cat tree by the window. Born 4/1/2020 Lil’Panther showed up at a house on the Northside, a snotty little love muffin who would lean against your hand and fall over. A course of antibiotics took care of his congestion.
