Story
Isabella is a round black ball of sweetness. She is about 7 years old and was brought inside when she was a few weeks old as a kitten. She has been living inside since then and never been back out. She is a timid cat and would likely benefit from a more quiet household. She currently lives with several other cats and has no issues getting a long with any of them. She has never really been around dogs so I am unsure how she would be with them. I think if the dog is calm and not a high drive energetic energy type they will be fine. She may start off shy and hide for a bit before she gets used to her new surroundings but when she gets comfortable she will cuddle with you on a bed, on the couch and will want attention.

Story
I acquired Luna from as Pet Shelter 6 years ago, as a kitten. I have to relocate and cannot take her with me. It breaks my heart, because she’s been loyal and loving with me through all these years. Please help me find a caring and attentive home for her to go to. Luna is beautiful, protective, and somewhat assertive at times. She loves to be near her owner and likes attention. Although not very bonded, she’s peacefully coexisted with another cat in our home. The other cat was from another breed and mother. I’ve exposed her to contained outdoor spaces and she loves it! Patience might be required at the beginning, as she acclimates to her new owner and environment. Luna, is spayed, microchipped, healthy and up to date on all her shots. She eats both dry and wet food. I will miss her terribly.

I acquired Celeste from as Pet Shelter 6 years ago, as a kitten. I have to relocate and cannot take her with me. It breaks my heart because I’ve fallen in love with her. Please help me find a caring and attentive home for her to go to. Celeste is beautiful and has such a laid back, sweet personality. To know her is to love her and to love her is all she needs. Well, that, and some dried food, water and a litter box. There was another cat in the house who was more dominant but, she was always graceful and patient about it. I've exposed her to contained outdoor spaces and she loves it! One of her many adorable habits is that she sometimes cups the water from her bowl in her hand and drinks it that way. Celeste is spayed, microchipped, healthy and up to date on all her shots. I will miss her terribly.

Story
My name is Gracie and I have called this shelter "home" for too long! I am ready to begin a new life with you! I prefer to be an only child and not share any attention. I don't really play a lot but I LOVE to sit in your lap and be brushed! Like A LOT! I am very petite and dainty with a signature heart on my nose. I am ready to love and be loved! I will need a very dedicated human to care for me because I carry the Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). But don't worry, I can't pass it to humans and if I am well cared for, I can live a long happy life just like cats without FIV! Could you be the forever home I have been waiting for?Note: Gracie is FIV+ . FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) is not a deadly virus. FIV+ cats with homes can and DO live long, healthy normal lives when given the chance. They can live & interact with cats that are not FIV + as it is not easily spread to other cats; it cannot be spread to dogs or humans. Statistically, most FIV + cats can live as long as their indoor counterparts (13-18 years). There are many reported cases where FIV+ cats live well into old age without ever showing any symptoms. Kittens born to FIV + mothers are at low risk for infection, although they may initially test positive due to the presence of maternal antibodies. For more information on FIV please refer to the following link: https://vbspca.com/what-you-should-know-when-adopting-an-fiv-positive-cat?sfns=moLocation: Temporary foster home. Toulouse is my name, and playing is my game! I love wrestling with my brother, Berlioz, or chasing toys with my sister, Marie. If I am not playing with my siblings, then I am looking for love and cuddles from my human. Once you touch me, my purr motor turns on and never stops! I love attention. I have lots of energy, and love my siblings so much that I need to be adopted with either my brother, Berlioz, or my sister, Marie. I am a very good boy, who loves meal time. I am a growing boy, after all! If you want fun and love in your life, then you should take me home, along with one of my siblings of course!Location: The MeowManor - cat boarding98 Nelson DriveNewport News, Va.Days & Times by Appt. For an appointment, please 1) fill out an online adoption application first and 2) email:adopt@thecatcornerinc.com to request an after hours appointment.More Adoption details: An important part of the process is to match the life-style and needs of theadopter with the individual animal being adopted. Once you have fallen in love with your purrfectmatch, you will need to complete an adoption application. Story
Hello, I'm Berlioz! I am a super sweet boy that loves to cuddle and play. I enjoy wrestling with my brother, Toulouse, playing with a wand toy, or just chasing after jingle ball toys. If I am not playing, I like to cuddle with my humans. At night, I snuggle right up next to them in bed and enjoy my snooze. I would love to have another cat friend to play with in my forever home. If you are looking for a loving, soft, sweet kitten, then I'm your guy!Location: The MeowManor - cat boarding98 Nelson DriveNewport News, Va.Days & Times by Appt. Story
Thea is a shy, mostly "blue" cat. She is about 7 years old and was found in between some walls of a office building when she was a few weeks old as a kitten. She has been living inside since then and never been back out. She is a timid, and shy cat and would likely benefit from a more quiet household. She currently lives with several other cats and has no issues getting along with any of them. She has never really been around dogs so I am unsure how she would be with them. I think if the dog is calm and not a high drive energetic energy type they will be fine. She may start off shy and hide for a bit before she gets used to her new surroundings but when she gets comfortable she will cuddle with you on the bed, on the couch and will want attention. She loves to give you chin rubs and will talk to you in her high squeaky voice. She might do pretty well with rehoming as she might end up exploring on her own.

Story
Moosey is mostly white, with a black mask and a black spot on her body. She is about 9 years old and was brought inside when she was a few weeks old as a kitten. She has been living inside since then and never been back out. She is a very loving cat who LOVES attention. She will grab your hand so that you give her pets, and sometimes will give love bites. She currently lives with several other cats and has no issues getting a long with any of them. She has been around dogs a little so I think she would be okay with them. I think that if the dog gets in her personal space looking to "play" she might "defend" herself. She will most likely be very open to a new space and I think she would adjust very quickly. She will cuddle with you on a bed, on the couch and will always want attention.

Story
Stash is a typical tuxedo cat with a small black mustache. He has a very large body in height and length as you will see in the last picture. He is about 9 years old and was brought inside when he was a few weeks old as a kitten. He has been living inside since then and never been back out. He is a very loving and laid-back cat who will cuddle with you whenever you want. He currently lives with several other cats and has no issues getting along with any of them. He has been around dogs before and with his laid-back personality I think he would be just fine with other dogs. All the other cats in the house see him as a big brother, follow him around, and will sleep with him all the time. He will most likely be very open to a new space and I think he will adjust very quickly. He will cuddle with you on a bed, on the couch and will always love attention from you or guests.
