Found as a stray at the tender age of 4 weeks, his back legs very clearly did not work. Upon examination by our vet, x-rays did not reveal any broken bones or obvious reason for the handicap, so we’re not sure of the cause. Maestro does NOT let it slow him down though! He is wicked fast when he’s playing and can scoot across the room in seconds! He is curious, brave, sweet, loving and smart! He makes eye contact when he talks to you and he really thinks you can understand him! He is very bonded with his sister, Milan, and in a perfect world, they would find a home together. Torino is a bit more shy than his sister… it takes him an hour or two to warm up to new people sometimes. But once he realizes you’re okay, you have a lap cat for life! He is so affectionate and snuggly, and would happily spend 100% of the time on your lap. He’ll play happily, but he’d much rather snuggles over playtime. While she’s a little shy when she first meets someone new, it never takes long for her to warm up and realize she has a new friend.
