Meet Emma Pearl! Emma is about 1 year old and was found starving and abused in a busy restaurant parking lot. There was a group of young teens that were kicking her around trying to get her to leave the premises. The restaurant owner said that she had been there for a couple of weeks begging and searching for food. A good Samaritan took her in because she couldn't let her continue to be abused. The kitty was nervous at first but quickly warmed up.Emma has a strong personality. She is very playful and affectionate. She is constantly poking at the other cats (she has 3 older cats in her foster home) even if she knows she's going to receive a grumpy reaction back. She is curious, a little feisty, and playful. She wants to be with nonstop company. It's almost like she has magical powers. Even if she's nowhere in sight, she can be at any place by your side within seconds. She wants to be with you so much so, that when she sees us leaving the house, she runs to the car and tries to get in with us! She is full of love and craves affection and attention. Because of her life on the streets, she can be found searching for food often. Do not, we repeat, do not leave food unattended. She will help herself. From her abuse, she is also dealing with trust issues on occasion. She can be snappy if she is petted in the wrong spot, so please be patient with her. To everyone’s surprise, Ms Pearl was pregnan! She was so thin at the time, no one could tell. She had her kittens within 4 weeks of her rescue. She delivered the kittens like a champ and was a great momma to her babies. The funny picture of her sitting on the couch was taken two days before she delivered. Meet Leo! Leo is a 7.5 year old white short haired cat. He is a big boy, but does not over eat. He is shy, but curious and usually stays a good distance away from any commotion. He is happy to please as long as he has a comfy place to lay and fresh water. He loves treats. He tolerates children and will usually remove himself from them. He does get scared easily. Leo had a teeth cleaning in October 2020. Unfortunately, his vet closed about six months ago and we do not get have those records He is allergic to Revolution Plus, but the regular Revolution is fine for him. Leo is neutered. Leo’s sister Lucy is also up for adoption. While they do not have to stay together, if you are looking for a beautiful duo, look no further! Don't let his chunky body fool you. Whiskey is a very active and agile boy who loves to explore. His favorite toys are kitty springs or anything he can chase around the living room floor. Whiskey also loves his scratching post. He has a very independent spirit but does like to sit on laps and snuggle up in bed. He loves to give leg hugs and will roll over for belly scratches. Whiskey has also been known to be somewhat playful with dogs that are not too aggressive with play. He is not the biggest fan of being picked up, but will let his owner do so. Meet Dip! This super chill, easygoing guy is just under a year old. Found as a stray kitten by some good Samaritans, Dip was living happily as an outdoor cat until he needed to be neutered and treated for an ear infection. When we saw how SWEEEET he was, we knew he was definitely inside cat material! Dip quickly adapted to indoor life, loving snuggles in bed and using the litter box like a pro. We got them from a family member in the Midwest. They are both very sweet, pretty chill, food-loving cats who love a good cuddle. They are both indoor cats and seem to like it that way. They love playing with each other and others, and are known to groom each other often and nap together. Ube (gray cat) is particularly cuddly and very relaxed. He loves a good scratch all over, including his head, under his chin, his belly, and his back. He likes to roll over on his back and play, and also enjoys laying on top of his humans. Mango (orange cat) is so sweet, but skittish compared to his chill brother. like his brother, he enjoys laying on his human and getting a good scratch on the head and chin. He loves to chase toys and is more active than his brother (but they're both chill).
