Story
Meet Captain! This guy sure is a sweetheart! Captain wins the hearts of staff and volunteers alike with his irresistibly cute face. He has a very polite demeanor to him and has soft little mews that he uses to let you know he wants to be pet. Based off the condition of his teeth, our veterinarian on staff determined his age to be around 3-5 years old. Captain was brought to us as a stray, but the finders reported that he was a very kind kitty who got along well with their children! Captain has shown us that he is an all around nice boy who gets along well with others. He is very tolerant of his kitten neighbors! The kittens would try to pester Captain by reaching through their kennel and into his space. They would paw at him and paw his fur, but he would just purr and act casual and content like he didn't have a care in the world. We believe this friendly boy would do wonderfully in a family home, or any kind home really! He is just a good natured kitty with a quiet and soft demeanor. Captain is patiently awaiting his forever family to come bring him home! Captain comes neutered, up to date on vaccines, and has a micro-chip as well! His adoption fee is $150. ADOPTION PROCEDURE: If you are interested in giving Captain his forever home, please be sure to fill out our adoption questionnaire on our main website at: https://hsjcwa.org/adopt-a-cat

Story
Meet Luna, a sweet 6-year-old domestic shorthair from a quiet little world, who may be a bit shy at first but will quickly warm your heart with her gentle nature and affectionate spirit. With her soft, white/black fur and big, expressive eyes, she has the kind of charm that will warm your heart. Luna is the type of cat who likes to take her time getting to know new people and environments. At first, she might keep a little distance, quietly observing from her favorite cozy spot. But once she knows she’s safe, she transforms into a lovebug who can’t get enough pets! There’s nothing quite like the joy of hearing her content purr as you show her love. She’s the perfect companion for someone looking for a calm, gentle cat who values trust and affection. Luna has really opened up while being at the shelter, and we can't wait to see her go to her forever family! Could Luna be the loving companion you’ve been looking for?
