Hi, I’m Pogo Stick, because I am kennel-stressed, and so I have been jumping straight up in the air to get out. But once I’m out, I am mellow and easy on leash and very affectionate. See me in my video HERE! I have a roommate dog here and he’s been helping me feel more confident. I also showed a lot of interest to meet other dogs when I was on leash with volunteers. Just please use slow intros if you are bringing me home to a resident dog! That’s always so important for us shelter dogs. I hope you’ll come meet me today. Obie (short for Old Boy) is a sweet old boy looking for a comfy couch to call his own. He has a beautiful fluffy coat that he enjoys a nice brushing of. Obie is a quiet and dignified couch potato. He is fine with everyone but particularly loves men. He loves ear scratches and a nice snooze. Obie is currently on medication for seizures. He takes this medication twice a day and it has greatly reduced his occurrence of seizures. He takes his medications easily if hidden in cream cheese, sour cream or yogurt. Obie is house trained with a doggie door right now. He enjoys spending his afternoons outside relaxing. He can be scared by loud things like fireworks but has done well with CBD as needed for this very specific anxiety. Obie does not really care for treats or toys. Treats he has enjoyed for training include lamb roast, mashed potatoes and eggs. He thinks vegetables are yucky. He seems to have been new to dog food but has taken to it well with some patience. Obie currently lives with another large dog and gets along well with her. She will even snap at him sometimes and he will not really react. He simply wants to be her friend. We also believe Obie will be fine with mannerly children. He has met toddlers and takes care to not knock them over. When meeting cats indoors, Obie was excited but did not necessarily exhibit high prey drive. He allowed his foster mom to call him back as she removed the cat. When he sees cats outdoors he like to try to chase them, though this is true of most dogs (even those that live with cats). All Better World Rescue dogs qualify for private and/or group training at no additional cost to help ensure a successful adoption. Hello, we have had Sunnie since 3months old. She is very mature and smart. She loves to have some attention and then she can do her own thing. She loves walks and runs. She is still learning heel but knows over 8 commands. Sit, lay, roll over, play dead (by saying bang bang) come, leave it, drop it, and fetch. She has many very great qualities and needs a good backyard to play in. She tears up most beds unless it's very comfortable. We are possibly moving and have 2 other dogs as well. We don't have room for all 3 unfortunately. We love them all and want them all and have never done this before. We are conflicted about this, we feel it may be the best way for her happiness and are sad. But can answer any questions you have.

Cal is my little brother’s dream dog. A purebred from an AKC breeder in Sacramento (we have the forms as well as all his vaccination, heartworm, flea + tick medication information). He is a 4 year old sweetheart who LOVES other dogs, knows all of the most important commands, although STAY is an iffy one. His likes include: outside, the park, animals, sweets (he will sniff out and consume chocolate if it is left near him), drinking a ton of water, and standing in front of the house fan. He has been with my family since he was a puppy and although alert with strangers, he is always kind. He has been raised with kids but they stress him out so the ideal home for him would be without children. Unfortunately, my brother is getting married soon and can not take care of Cal, so we are hoping to find a loving, energetic family for him to live with for the rest of his days!
