Story
Tony, a handsome 6-month-old pup who came to PAR from a local shelter, feeling scared and unsure of people. Since then, he has made incredible strides, building his confidence and learning to trust.
Although Tony can be cautious with new faces, once he bonds with you, he becomes an incredibly affectionate and loving companion. He thrives in an environment filled with patience and kindness and would do best in a home with another dog to help him feel comfortable and secure.
Tony enjoys chewing on bones, lounging on the couch, and playing with his favorite stuffed toys. He’s a bundle of energy, loving to run and play chase in the yard, so he’ll need a secure, fenced space to explore safely. Tony is progressing well with potty training and will even ring the bell when he needs to go out! While he’s still adjusting to crate time, he would thrive in a home where someone is home often to offer the comfort he needs.

We receive many applications and many never respond after processing GREATLY delaying the pets forever home. Please only apply if you are serious about adopting. Please also make sure your pets are up to date on you species applicable Vaccines (rabies, Distemper/Parvo, FVRCP, Bordetella), spayed/neutered, and on Heartworm prevention if a canine.
The adoption fee includes their age appropriate vaccinations(DA2PP and Bordetella), Dewormer, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test as well as the registration of their microchip information to you.
The first step to adopting is to fill out an application for adoption. Once approved we will arrange a time for you to meet the animal you are interested in. If it is a match the adoption can then be completed and you can take home your new furry family member. If it is not a match we will file your approved application and you can wait till you find the perfect match.
