Story
Meet LOGAN! This adorable 4.5-month-old puppy is searching for his forever family! Logan is a sweet and playful pup with a unique story.   He's the last of a litter of 12! His amazing momma (Hazel is a Dutch Shepherd/German Shepherd mix) gave birth to a dozen pups. That's right, a dozen! LOGAN was the tiniest of the bunch, but with tons of love and extra snuggles, he's now a super healthy and happy pup! He's basically a bouncy ball of pure joy!   He's also a total sweetheart! He soaks up all the attention, loves everyone he meets (seriously, everyone!), and is basically a mud-rolling expert. Plus, he's super smart! We're working on his leash manners, but hey, he's a puppy – it's all part of the fun!   Based on his current weight, we expect him to be between 50 to 60 lbs as an adult. If you're looking for a loyal, cuddly, and downright hilarious pup to join your family, LOGAN is your guy!   Applications can be filled out at www.piedmontanimalrescue.com/adopt!  Petfinder and Adopt-A-Pet does NOT send us Applications.   We receive many applications and many never respond after processing GREATLY delaying the pets forever home.  Please only apply if you are serious about adopting.  Please also make sure your pets are up to date on you species applicable Vaccines (rabies, Distemper/Parvo, FVRCP, Bordetella), spayed/neutered, and on Heartworm prevention if a canine.   The adoption fee includes their age appropriate vaccinations(DA2PP and Bordetella), Dewormer, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test as well as the registration of their microchip information to you. The first step to adopting is to fill out an application for adoption. Once approved we will arrange a time for you to meet the animal you are interested in. If it is a match the adoption can then be completed and you can take home your new furry family member. If it is not a match we will file your approved application and you can wait till you find the perfect match. ##2262394##

Story
Tony, a handsome 6-month-old pup who came to PAR from a local shelter, feeling scared and unsure of people. Since then, he has made incredible strides, building his confidence and learning to trust. Although Tony can be cautious with new faces, once he bonds with you, he becomes an incredibly affectionate and loving companion. He thrives in an environment filled with patience and kindness and would do best in a home with another dog to help him feel comfortable and secure. Tony enjoys chewing on bones, lounging on the couch, and playing with his favorite stuffed toys. He’s a bundle of energy, loving to run and play chase in the yard, so he’ll need a secure, fenced space to explore safely. Tony is progressing well with potty training and will even ring the bell when he needs to go out! While he’s still adjusting to crate time, he would thrive in a home where someone is home often to offer the comfort he needs. If you're looking for a sweet, sensitive pup who will reward your love and patience with endless affection, Tony is the perfect match! He just needs a gentle, understanding home to continue blossoming into the incredible dog he's destined to be. Story
Holly is wondering where her forever family is. She's a sweet puppy going on around 5 months old. We think that Holly is a Dutch Shepherd mix or maybe a Cattle dog mix. Holly would love an active family with a fenced in backyard that would give her the appropriate amount of exercise and training. She's not terribly hyper, but puppies need exercise. And just look at those ears! Currently Holly weighs 25lbs and is just the cutest girl ever! If you think Holly might be a good fit for your family, then please fill out the adoption application on our website https://www.pawsitiveimpactncdogrescue.org/adopt ##1883952##

Story
Meet Joe, who originally came to us from the Rowan County Animal Shelter. Joe is a 1–2-year-old, 52 lb., German Shepherd. He has had all of shots is neutered and is microchipped. He came to us as rescue only due to fear issues. He is not aggressive in any way, nor does he shake / tremble. He is just nervous. Joe was adopted from us several months ago, but unfortunately, he stayed out in the yard because the adopters said they couldn't catch him, so they just left him out. The adopters returned him back to us on 12/30/23. Joe gets along well with all sized dogs and is social. While in foster care before he got adopted, he had started wagging his tail and socializing but now with the previous adopters not really working with him he's back to being shut down again. He will need time to adjust and get comfortable with his new home and does require a 6 ft. fence and having another dog (for companionship) in the family. If you are interested in adopting this beautiful boy, please send us your email address to obtain an Adoption Application.
