Story
Meet Alfalfa, a well-behaved mellow guy who loves to hike! He's a 7 year old lab chow mix around 80lbs, who is fully house trained, neutered, and has perfect indoor manners. He is very sweet - he loves to cuddle, and he checks all the boxes for a carefree buddy. He's very relaxed but is also a great adventure buddy. He loves to hike on the trails in the Asheville area. And he’s very social! He’s friendly to all people and dogs. Alfalfa is in excellent health with no medical issues, and is up to date on all vaccinations. He would do well in a range of homes though he would probably prefer older respectful children and an active household. He is reactive to cats, and wouldn't do well around them. We think he would love other dog siblings. Our work travel schedule has made it difficult to ensure Alfalfa gets the care he deserves, and we want to find a home where he'll be well taken care of.

Story
Roxy is a happy, energetic, smart 3 yr. old who loves people. A loyal companion who's usually by my side when I'm at home, Roxy also enjoys romping around the backyard, chasing her frisbee, going on walks and soaking up the sun. Her faves: tummy rubs, frisbee, squeaky toys, and cheese! Roxy would be happiest with a healthy couple or person who have a stable, active lifestyle. She hasn't lived with children, cats or other dogs. She needs a fenced yard or lots of land to run off leash. Busy, loud places and young kids can be a bit too much for her at this time. After adopting Roxy, we worked on her reluctance to take car rides and now readily goes for rides, loose-leash walks, and knows basic commands. Longer trips are still a challenge as she gets nervous at higher speeds. Unfortunately, personal health issues and frequent overnight trips to visit my aging mom have made it difficult to care for Roxy in the way she deserves.

Story
We adopted Bones at a rescue adoption center 2 years ago. He’s very very sweet, loveable and good with everyone. He has never bitten, growled or acted angry towards any human. He’s pretty good with other animals (other than chasing cats but not biting). He really is a wonderful dog, we just cannot provide anymore due to relatives moving in as well as new pregnancy that was unexpected. We are unsure of his mixed breed
