Story
Meet Maximus, a five year old Lab mix weighing around 60 pounds.Maximus` story is quite sad. Animal control was called to pick him up after his owners moved and the landlord called them. He was left tied up next to the house with no shelter and hardly any room to move The area around him was covered in feces and urine and so was he, we can`t imagine why someone would do that to him. When he came to us we immediately gave him a bath and noticed some sores, probably due to the filth he was forced to sit in. Maximus is a friendly goober with a good amount of energy. He likes treats but seems like no one really worked with him so he is still learning his mannered but responds well to correction. He deserves only the best home after what he has been through. This pet is available for adoption on 12/20/2024 at 4:59 PM at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center. Story
Meet Luca, a one year old Yellow Lab mix weighing 55 pounds. Luca is a big ole goober who doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. He has boundless energy and enthusiasm and always wants to be a part of the action. Luca does pull on his leash with his enthusiastic nature so he is looking for someone who can help leash train him and also teach him how to just sit and be calm when there is fun stuff going around. Luca is a good boy who is looking for someone with an active, outgoing lifestyle that will take him places and show him things. He promises to try his best to learn new skills! Story
Meet Ember, a four year old Retriever/Border Collie mix weighing just over 60 pounds. Ember is an incredibly sweet girl who walks great on a leash. This polite, well-mannered girl knows the command `sit` and is a treat lover so she is a breeze to train. Ember seems to be pretty easy-going and even ignored a squirrel running up the tree next to us while photographing. She seems to be a great, well-rounded dog.
