Story
Hi! I'm Tootie, a 1.5-year-old female hound mix. I'm about 43 pounds and am up to date on all my vaccinations. I am playful and affectionate. I love giving kisses to everyone I meet! I'm great with dogs and love going to the dog park and daycare. I'd love to have another dog to play with me in my new house, but would be fine alone as long as you're around to play with me. My previous family loved me very much, but unfortunately I didn't get along well with their kitten. As a hound, I'm very prey-driven and like to chase cats and small animals. They're heartbroken to see me go but know I deserve a home where I can be my happy-go-lucky self! I hope it won't be long before I find my forever family. I'm available through Kitty Connection in Medford.

Story
Dylan is a very special foxhound looking for that special someone to give him a Forever home. Dylan is a tripod as a result of his front leg getting tangled in some fence wire. By the time he was discovered with his severe injuries, the leg could not be saved. But that is all behind him now and he's ready for his new life. He gets around fine and enjoys playing with the other dogs at his foster home on a farm in Virginia. He likes to hang out in the sun, watch the farm animals, and snuggle into soft places to sleep. He's affectionate and friendly around people. Dylan is about 3 years old and weighs about 45 lbs. Ready for transport to Massachusetts. Story
Pearl is a very special foxhound whose broken leg and broken spirit have been healing in the care of her wonderful foster in Virginia. Pearl was found limping by the side of the road and was brought into the county shelter. Her leg was broken in two places s but is healing well and she should have full mobility. Pearl was very timid initially but has gained confidence and is learning to trust new people. She's a quiet hound girl, housebroken, and walks well on leash. She likes to take her time and enjoys sniffing her way along. She seems fine around cats. Children scare her and she will retreat from them trembling, so she'll do best in an adult home. She gets along well with other dogs and like to lie in the sun in a fenced yard. Pearl has some separation anxiety when her people leave, she may whine a bit, but has not been destructive. She's learned to enjoy being petted and especially likes having her neck and ears stroked. Pearl is 3 - 4 years old and 45-50 llbs. She will be arriving in New England in August. Barney is an affectionate, sweet boy. Probably not a year old and loves to play. He has that wonderful hound voice but he's not obsessive with it. He does well with other dogs, he's not familiar with cats but plays to hard with chickens. He's very smart and has learned a few basic commands. He would be a loyal companion for a little love. Story
Meet Spanky:Lots to Offer! Meet Spanky who certainly has a charm about him! Everything about him screams "Squeeze me!" Spanky is a six-seven year old American Foxhound mix that is very loyal and follows his family room to room just waiting for the opportunity to share his love. His current living situation has changed and he has moved into a new environment where the resident older Chiweenie has decided she is not comfortable with larger dogs. Spanky loves toys and loves to carry around his blanket in his mouth. He does well with housetraining and is eager to please. He is also a cuddler and snuggler. He's a hunk of love! Spanky is active but once his energy is expelled he calms right down to watch a movie and chill with you. He has a shy side so he might be overwhelmed but a chaotic environment. With a name like Spanky, you know he has PERSONALITY! The best way to begin an adoption is to request an adoption application by EMAILING STORKWOODS@COMCAST.NET. We have foster homes in several areas. Transport is available.
