The majority of the dogs we rescue, mostly breeder dogs, have lived their entire lives in less-than-ideal conditions so will need to be socialized, house and leash trained. Most have never lived in a house, walked on a leash, had a treat or sat in a lap. For many of them, their feet have never touched the ground after living for years on wire until they arrive at our main facility where they are evaluated, groomed and given vet care. Most of these dogs are not socialized and need to be cornered to be picked up, so are not suitable for people with physical disabilities or suffer from PTSD. They need folks who will make them the center of their world and help them learn to trust before even attempting to train. Please do not apply if you do not meet the requirements of the dogs we rescue. However, they will learn with time, love, patience and most of all, commitment. You must have an ample supply of all of these to reap the rewards of watching these very special dogs become your wonderful companion. We state any known health issues, all are altered unless there is a medical reason not to, which we will advise, any known medical issues addressed, are microchipped, are UTD on all vaccines and have been checked out by at least one veterinarian, usually two. We do not guarantee the health of any of our rescued dogs. The dogs we rescue have lived with other dogs all of their lives and most get along with other dogs. We state if they are dog aggressive. We require a permanent, full-time parent. That means you must be able to spend the majority of your time with your new companion to socialize and train. We do not, under any circumstances, place them in homes with young children as they have not been exposed to children and we do not know how they will react. Yasmine is a sweet and gentle 4 year old French Bulldog who came to us from a breeder release. She is a little shy at first but with some extra love and one on one time she will warm up quickly. Yasmine is a chunk and has a beautiful brindle coloring with a unique toe. The only medical she has is some skin issues and her ears need a weekly cleaning and she is currently taking medication for her left ear to deter it from an ear mas and her foster is cleaning it every other day. Keeping the wrinkles in her face clean are key as she has some skin tags and has lost some fur but it is slowly coming back. She has been to the vet and her ear is already hard and could not be drained, so we keep them super clean and currently use mometamax. Yasmine’s left eye is cloudy but according to the vet it is not medically affecting her and does not need to be removed. Her personality is divine as she is super sweet. Yasmine is a little shy and will crouch down when petted but she is the most loving gal and will seek out attention once she knows she is in a safe place. With a bit of extra love and attention, she quickly warms up. She came to us with 3 others in a breeder release and all of the girls were very close and ran in a pack when we got them. We have slowly separated them and they seem to be doing great with foster siblings. Yas loves to play with her siblings but is very independent and loves to chill in her bed or lay in the sun and observe everyone else playing. She is not fully potty trained but she is working on it. Yaasmine will need structure, guidance and consistency daily as she was kept in a kennel her whole life and used for breeding. She is a spectacular furball and is a sweet as her endearing eyes. Yasmine will do best in a home where she receives plenty of love and attention. Her ideal family will be committed to her regular health care routine and provide a structured environment to help her feel secure. Hi I’m Tater a 7 year old female French Bulldog that was brought into the freedom squad 2 months ago when they saved me from a Socal shelter. Despite my age, I have a lot of energy and loves to play, But I do spend a fair amount of time enjoying relaxing and observing my surroundings. Sunbathing is my favorite past time or laying half on your lap while you are watching the telly. Oh lord do I love the toys, balls, plushies, and getting my belly rubbed. My foster mom always takes me to TJ Maxx and I get to pick my favorite toy and play with it in the cart while she is sopping for the other doggies. I am highly motivated with treats, but I will tell you I can be very stubborn at times like any bulldog breed. I love human interaction and enjoy being touched and cuddled by my favorite human. When I was rescued from the shelter I had some skin issues and my eyes were dry and crusty. I have been dealing with a UTI and it seems to be on track and I am feeling much better! My foster mom gives me daily eye drops, and her eye condition is improving. Overall, I’m in good health with no significant ongoing issues apart from my eyes, but that’s also just part of being older. I am crate trained and that is my home I get to go in and out of it as I please. As for potty trained, I rarely have accidents but that is just part of being a rescue and getting use to the home life. My ideal home where I would thrive is with a submissive female dogs or any male dogs. I’m in search of a family that can provide me with a good mix of playtime and relaxation. I would do well in a home where I can receive regular affection and interaction from my favorite humans. Iggy is a 3 year old male French Bulldog and his personality is absolutely divine. He is incredibly dedicated to his human and has a humble, grateful nature due to his past experiences. He came to us from an LA shelter as a medical pull and has shown immense resilience and gratitude since. He was found as a stray and was most likely tossed away because of his ears. Iggy is partially deaf due to undergoing TEAC (Total Ear Canal Ablation) surgery on both ears. His ears require weekly cleaning, and he needs a daily application of steroid cream for his recovery. Despite these needs, Iggy is thriving and healthy. Please do not let this deter you from adopting him. It is very simple to care for and something that should be done on every Frenchie every week. He was super skinny when we rescued him and has since ut on some weight which has filled him out. He is a bit taller than most frenchies so we are going to keep putting a little more weight on him. Iggy gets along well with other dogs but can assert himself with dominant males. He does best with female dogs and submissive, playful males. Iggy is loving and loyal.
