Story
Bruno is a French Bulldog, approximately 3-5 years old and 27 lbs. He is very friendly with both people and other dogs. He loves to follow everyone around and hates being alone. He is working through severe separation anxiety currently in which harms him. Other dogs do calm him, so his ideal home would have another dog(s). He is working on marking inside. He wears a belly band easily. When taken outside often, he is less likely to mark. He bonds very closely and is loyal to his family. He dances and hops around when he’s excited, especially with baby talk. Belly scratches are his love language. He came from a shelter in Mexico with no information on his past, but this lover boy is so happy to be in a home and is learning all about toys and treat.

Winken (Pirate) is a beautiful brindle color of blue and tan. She is an easy going pup that just wants love and a happy place to call her own. She enjoys playing with other dogs and humans. She might only have one eye but that doesn’t stop her from being a happy little girl. She has the sweetest tilt to her head when you talk to her. We are working on getting her to potty outside all of the time. She is doing great for only being here a couple of days. Little Winken(Pirate) deserves a special family that wants a very special pup❤️🐾🐾

Bjorn is a new arrival to my foster home. What a delight he is! I lovingly call him Sausage Roll❤️ He loves playing with his foster buddies. He’s getting accustomed to how humans treat him with respect and kindness. Bjorn enjoys his crate but also has found that dog beds are even better. If you want to wake up and go to bed with a smile on your face, Bjorn is the dog for you. He is 6 years young with a typical Frenchie vibe…playful and happy. He is fully vetted and will begin looking for his new home soon!

Story
Hi! I am Buddy. I am a handsome, loving, full of character, will make you smile, warrior, super hero of a frenchie that would love to be your next shadow! I love snuggling with humans and my fur friends, of course treats, car rides, walks (but short or in my wheel chair.) Sometimes on walks I like to bark at other dogs, but I'm just protecting my foster family. I got hit by a car on my left side, so I'm still healing from that. My front left leg will probably take a significant amount of time to get back to normal, but I think it will come back slowly but surely. My foster family likes to use my DNA vibe on me to help the healing and it also is very relaxing. Like I said earlier, I also have a wheel chair that I don't love, but I'm practicing everyday to like it. I DO like having ramps in my foster families house because then I can get on the couch and bed easily. If you have stairs, you will probably have to carry me for the time being. I have a lot of energy and I am a determined, warrior frenchie. If I want to get some where, I will. I also like to run outside when the door opens, just to get out there and see what's going on. so Becareful with me, because I will try to escape!I get along with other small fur friends, but when they get to be bigger than me, I'm not too sure about them. I also like to eat my food in private and my treats and bones. Sometimes if I see my fur friend with a toy I want, i get upset and will go after them. So best to leave some toys for private time. I eat my delicious Purina Pro twice a day. And I am always down for a delicious treat. I sleep with my foster parents and foster fur sibling in their giant king bed. I prefer to spoon, small spoon is my favorite. I like to wake up when they get up and I need to go potty first thing. I spend my day loungin, soakin up the sun, following you around everywhere you go and putting smiles on faces! My foster mom is constantly taking pics of me because I'm so handsome. I call her the pup-a-rozzzzzzi! I am one handsome boy and would love to fill your heart if I sound fitting and right for you! Buddy was transferred from a shelter. He is slightly paralyzed in the rear end. Buddy was hit by a car and is still recovering. His left front shoulder nerves are still recovering and he may not be able to use that leg for another six months. He is in a 4-down cart. He is a happy, silly, and sweet boy. Buddy is in Utah but we can help transport. Buddy will have a $300 special needs concession on his adoption donation. Hit by car - $6500 ICU done

Story
Oliie is a four-year-old neutered male French Bulldog. He is an IVDD baby, having lost the use of his hind legs as well as his bladder and bowel control. Despite his handicap, Ollie is a very active and cheerful little boy. He doesn't recognize that he's handicapped and will try to keep up with other dogs when playing, or challenging bigger dogs in the dog park. While he does get along well with other dogs, he can be standoffish or territorial when meeting new dogs that are bigger than him. Ollie is exceedingly kind and loving with his humans. He acts as your personal shadow and will follow you around throughout your home all day. He loves nothing more than being close to his human and supplying them with affection. He also has a penchant for mischief if he feels ignored. Definitely make sure your home is toddler proofed, because Ollie will surprise you with what he will reach and try to chew up or eat. Ollie loves playing fetch, cuddles, and belly rubs. He does have a wheelchair for going on walks outside, but is not a fan of using it at all currently. Daily Routine: Ollie's food of choice is Royale Canine French Bulldog Kibble. Breakfast 7:00 AM with a cup of water mixed in Lunch 12:00 Noon with a cup of water mixed in Dinner 5PM with a cup of water mixed in Bedtime around 8PM to 9PM. Will often walk to his crate and settle in for the night on his own. Bathroom breaks are throughout the day. Ollie doesn't have much control of when he goes to the bathroom, but he does make an effort to urinate when outside. He'll likely need to wear diapers throughout the day while inside as he has a tendency for accidents. Most of the day, when he has an opportunity to settle down, Ollie prefers to nap. Preferably close to his humans. He also will explore around the home, play with toys, and bring his humans whatever toy is his favorite at the moment. Sleeping: As mentioned previously, Ollie will walk to his crate to settle in for the night. As he prefers being close to his humans, it is recommended that his crate be located in a bedroom if possible. He is also a light sleeper and will wake up when his human gets up. Bathing: As Ollie is diaper bound and accident prone, he does require the occasional bath to clean himself up. Outside of cleaning up his accidents, he has excellent hygiene and a wonderfully soft and pleasant smelling coat of fur. Ideal Home: Ollie would thrive best in a home with plenty of space, no stairs to navigate, and two parents to spoil him rotten. It may be best if he was the only pet in the household, but that really depends on how well he gets along with his potential brothers/sisters. ----- Intake notes Paralyzed Ok with other, calmer dogs No kids under 12 Cats ok Colorado Ollie can live with other dogs. He has successfully lived with my two dogs are six months. He needs to be introduced slowly, but does get along with other dogs. He should just live with another dog who won't get mad if Ollie gets protective of his things for the first month. He is just a frenchie and had a lot of attitude. Plus he is handicapped, so he likes to let the other dogs that he can still defend himself. Again he gets along with other dogs, just needs to be a slow introduction. Seems fine with cats but no kids under 12. No resource guarding to me, but has shown resource guarding towards my dogs. He doesn't not like when they come near him when he has a toy or his food bowl (when food is present). He will do best eating in a separate room (as all dogs should). This has gotten better the longer he has been in my care. Ollie is paraplegic (deep pain negative); therefore, he is unable to urinate on his own. He always a male wrap as he is, somehow, able to express him (BUT UNAWARE). He does still needs his bladder expressed 3-4 times a day (a bladder will not be able to be voided each time, but still needs to be attempted). At that time, his diaper is changed and inguinal area is wrapped down to avoid urine solid. He is able to defecate on his own (BUT UNAWARE), so he will drop stool. He is kept on a strict diet to avoid diarrhea. It is up to the foster to decided if they would like him in full diapers. I have hardwood floor, so I rather have him defecate on the floor than in a diaper to avoid irritation to the perianal area. Again he has no control of his bowel, but he does circle when he feels something (aka he is defecating). It is all a lot, but once you get into a routine it is easy. Ollie may be a handicapped animal now, but that has not stopped him from enjoying life! He shows the disabled pets can live a happy and normal life. Plus he is honestly a very good looking French Bulldog as well.

Story
Typical daily routine - what food and how/when he eats, potty time, play time, walks and how she does on them Pirouette, Ette, usually wakes up between 6-730 and immediately goes outside. She will go potty after she runs her laps but will need time and encouragement. She will try and go back into the house first, but she will need to potty. She eats breakfast by 8am and she can use a regular bowl; eating is a full contact sport with her as she needs to figure out her depth perception and food source. She will not be fed by hand; she seems very frightened to do so and may have been disciplined. She wakes up ready to play and party, she loves her tug toy and will play tug of war or chase it if it is skipped across the floor. She struggles with walking on a leash as she gets anxious in unfamiliar environments but does pretty well in a stroller and is usually excited to adventure out on car rides. Kids? Cats? Dogs? She would probably do best in a home without small children, but would be okay with teenagers that understand that she has vision problems and what comes with that. She enjoys calmer male dogs and has made several friends, other Frenchie's, an English cream retriever, and a Catahoula; size does not seem to matter, only temperament. Female dogs seem to make her uncomfortable and she really turns quiet and shy. No exposure to cats so far. Likes and dislikes Ette will find her person and prefer to follow and (occasionally) snuggle with them, she loves to play and is thrilled with anyone who is on the other end of her tug toy. She does not love being picked up as it seems to disorient her. She prefers to be in her home or familiar places where she knows how to navigate her surroundings. She is a great camper and enjoys wading in shallow streams and rivers. She would be so happy with a yard big enough for her to run and chase freely. Ideal home Ette shouldn't be in a home with small children or lots of stairs. Ideally, she will find a safe space with someone who wakes up ready to go in the morning and has the patience to show her where she is and how to get around. Someone who works from or stays home would be ideal as she will need some supervision and assistance finding her way. She will alert by barking to go outside, once she gets comfortable. She has plenty of spunk and energy, but might do best as the energy leader, any pets that are more rambunctious may be overwhelming. Funny quirks Ette gets very excited and will run as fast as she can, in a circle, which is why she is named Pirouette! She has a tongue that just doesn't fit in her mouth, so she will always be sticking it out at you! She also can't see very well, so sometimes she chases "ghosts as we say. She will see dust or a shadow in the air and will try to catch it. Quirks that may be concerning to a new owner and how to overcome them Ette can see, but not well, so she will have to get accustomed to her surroundings in her own time, and she will run into things. Patience and consistency is the best thing for her. Sometimes Ette gets too excited and if she thinks you have her toy, she will jump at whatever she thinks is hers. The very best thing about her The best thing about little Etts Begetts is that she is always ready to play and very excited when she is with her people. Basic personality Once Ette feels comfortable and safe, she is just a happy and silly girl. She'll be glued to the feet of her perfect person and be so happy to be loved! Shelter transfer Ette has severe jaw misalignment and was dx anorexic at intake. She may nave continual neuro issues, however these do not affect her life. Needs spay and nares $1800

Story
Meet Honey, a sweet and playful dog who will steal your heart with just one wag of her tail. She is guessed to be a 1-2 yr old bulldog mix around 44 lbs. Honey is a true gem with a heart of gold. Although she has a few canine friends, she hasn’t had proper socialization, so she’s a little tentative when first meeting a new dog. A slow intro will be necessary to give her the right start with new dogs. For now, we think she would do best as an only dog but she definitely has the ability and potential to learn how to play well with others, she just hasn’t yet been taught how! Honey has a gorgeous golden coat and she loves to snuggle with her humans. Her friendly and outgoing personality will quickly make her a beloved member of any household. She is a volunteer favorite! Come meet Honey today and make her a part of your forever home.

Good with dogs,
Story
Darling (aka Daisy) is guessed to be a 7 month old Pug mix, around 14 lbs. As she has settled in to a home she has grown more confident and she is doing “regular” dog things more confidently. She is a fast learner and attaches to her people quickly, (though she can be hesitant and timid at first)! Her favorite thing is attention, and she will follow her person(s) around everywhere! She loves chasing bugs and is an inquisitive goof ball that will make you laugh. She is almost completely house trained and leash trained, and she does well with positive reinforcement. She loves her crate and she stays there overnight and while left home alone. She is friendly and polite to the resident 60lb male dog in her foster home, and seeks out his comfort, but also respects his space and isn't annoying. She easily lets her paws, ears, teeth, tail, to be handled! If you're looking for a best friend that wants to cuddle with you but also can be left at home without anxiety, come meet her!
