Story
Location: Dayton, OH Food: Raw Diet Medication:Standard Process brand; Super-EEF, Neuroplex and Neurotrophin PMG My name is Tiffany, and I'm Penelope's talent agent. Penelope studied Ballet at Cincinnati Ballet School in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was a Principal dancer and danced so beautifully. She was coming out of a Ronde de jambe and lost her footing and fell. After many doctors appointments she has not gained full movement from her waist down. The poor girl lost most of her feeling in her right leg. She still has her pointed toes though! After many people tried and couldn't deal with her dancer drama, BadAss Bulldog rescue jumped in and took over. Penelope is now thriving and slowly getting on her feet. We believe that with continued acupuncture she will just keep getting better! Here is a little snippet from Penelope herself so you can get to know her! I am the happiest girl you will ever meet! I love to play, chew on toys, get pets and treats!!! I've never met a treat I didn't like! I'm a chewer so I always need something to chew on. As you have noticed I don't walk very well. After seeing all these doctors we decided to start acupuncture. So far it is really helping! I'm gaining more stability in the left leg but my right leg still gets a little wonky. I'm standing more and walking some. I use a brace and wheelchair to help me walk. When I'm not in my brace and wheelchair, I'm the fastest dog on two legs!I am incontinet, I sometimes wear diapers and I don't alway know when I need to go to the bathroom. My foster mom tries to give me more outside time so I don't have any accidents in the house. I love it outside! I also love to play with the other dogs. I enjoy tugging on toys with my foster sister, it's my favorite game. I will say that the one thing I enjoy the most is laying in my bed and chewing on my toys. I love to sit there and watch everyone while I relax! If I sound like the bestest best best buddy for you then please fill out an application. I very excited to meet you!

Story
Location: Dayton, OH Food: Core Wellness (Whitefish, Herring Meal and Menhaden Fish Meal Recipe Medication: Antibiotic till 8/20, Mucinex till 8/8 and Monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention Sadie Mae is looking for a home where she can be doted on. She is truly a velcro dog, loving to lean against your legs when you are standing around. She does well on a leash, but being low-energy she walks a bit slower and isn't up for long walks. She will curl up on a pillow or dog bed and hang out with you watching TV or playing Fortnite for hours! She is happy to hang with calm dogs in the home, but gets aggravated at high energy dogs, especially if they get in her personal space. I'd recommend another calm dog or even being spoiled in a single dog household. She loves to greet every person she sees and was very good with the neighbors's two little girls. She absolutely loves squeaky toys and is relly good about loving them without mass destruction. She is also very interested in her foster brother's "giggle ball" so that may be a great toy to consider for her to increase her activity. She does really well with potty training, unfortunatley I can't say it's 100%. However, some of the accidents may have been due to the antibiotics wreaking havoc on her system. Otherwise she does really well. She slept overnight in a crate without a peep for the first few nights and has the run of her own bedroom at night now. Sadie really is a very sweet girl and deserves all the love of a family to dote on her!

Story
Meet Pork Roll! Pork Roll lives up to her name: she’s built like an egg roll and she snorts like a pig.  Pork Roll came to us from puppy mill country. She likely has lived her life up until now in a small enclosure. She came to her foster home not knowing how to walk on a leash, not knowing how to walk up/down stairs, and being very startled by loud noises. She had definitely never had a bath or been brushed out before, she loved being brushed out but the bath she could’ve done without ;-) Pork Roll is absolutely fantastic with kids. She adores the toddler in her foster home. She’s also great with her foster’s other dogs and cats! She is learning how to play with toys—she really enjoys rubber Kong type toys. She doesn’t know how to chew on bones, rawhides, etc. She is crate trained.  We think Pork Roll is a French Bulldog / Pug mix. Maybe with something else in there?? She’s approx 35 lbs., wide, short, and a short little stubby tail. Her fur feels (and sheds) like Pug fur. When she eats and drinks, she sounds like a pig.  Pork Roll is absolutely precious. She is a really, really great little dog. Pork Roll will be spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm tested prior to adoption. You can apply for Pork Roll at www.adoptapitrescue.org. Pork Roll’s adoption donation is $350. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.   August 19, 2024, 10:55 pm

Story
Roman is an incredible dog. He's 3yrs old, Gorgeous and full of personality. He’s loyal to his human. He’s cuddly and will 100% be your shadow. He loves car rides and walks. Roman is potty and crate trained, though he’d much rather sleep with his person every given chance. Though Roman is a great dog he is not good with other small dogs. Roman does get along with bigger female dogs. Roman would have to be with a big female dog or no other dogs. Please, serious inquiries only. I will check vet references before the adoption will be finalized.
