*ADOPTION FEE SPONSORED BY REBEL PAW @rebelpaw801Meet Bubba, a sweet 45-lb, 6-year-old French Bulldog. Bubba is a low-energy cuddle bug who loves to follow his person around. He's calm, rarely barks, and enjoys playing with chew toys. Bubba has shown great resilience recovering from IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease). While he has some limitations with his back legs, he's made impressive progress with physical therapy. Bubba can navigate well but would do best in a home with minimal stairs. Bubba's cheerful spirit remains unbroken despite his challenges. He's mostly potty trained but may drip a little due to his condition; a diaper helps manage this. Bubba is crate trained and loves meeting new people. He gets along with other dogs after a slow introduction but prefers human company. If you're looking for a loyal, loving, and laid-back companion, Bubba could be your perfect match. Come meet this wonderful pup and see if he's your new best friend! Great with kids, cats unknown. If you have the patient forever home that Bubba has been waiting for, please fill out an online application at http://caws.org/adoption-application. Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is sponsored by Rebel Paw! Story
If you are a dog lover you know- a friendly, adorably happy dog ,who loves the water, other dogs, and is respectful with cats, can feel like a unicorn. Add in great with kids, easy traveler, pocket-size, adorably unique, and house trained! I don’t know what more you could want! Given, I don’t know your taste, but this dog made literally everyone at the rescue loose their mind in a spell of cuteness aggression followed by immediate adoration when he showed us all these amazing qualities. For the latest pictures and info on me visit- https://shorturl.at/z7fyq So, if your type is a mixed up, pocket size, rescue dog dripping in cuteness with an underbite and plush, jiggly skin… let me introduce you to someone special. His name is Tanner and he is available for adoption! The term-move-in ready is used for houses but in this case he is the one that is move-in-ready. To your house that is! He is ready! Take a look at him in action then come back to read more! This cute boy is not quite an adult but not quite a puppy, I would call him a teenager if that term didn’t make most people roll their eyes. Weighing in at 36 lbs he is a lot of fun in a small package, really the perfect get-up and go guy! Estimated to be somewhere shy of a year old, he is eager to learn and has a great base of basic skills to work from. Tanner has been fortunate to wait for his forever family in an adoring foster home. They have two dogs, a female bull-terrier and a mixed up rescue who is about to be a year old, who he loves and plays with perfectly. He has a great sense of dog manners, how to play nicely, and how to read a dog that isn’t in the mood to play or is just all done. No matter the age or energy level of the playmate, he suits himself beautifully and he knows when to take a break to cool down in the pool. His foster family has recently moved into a new home and unpacking has meant lots of “people” things are out and about in places they wouldn’t normally be, you know, on the ground, and he has not once picked something up to chew on it or run off with it. He loves toys and chew bones but he knows the difference between his and yours. He is also living with a cat and two kids, both of which he is incredibly sweet with. The kids can get carried away playing rough at times and he is so tolerant and patient. The occasional moments of mouthy play are gentle and easily corrected. Plus, they praise how quickly he was house-trained and he is slowly using the doggy door with more and more consistency. In between he politely sits at the door when he wants to go out and if the wait proves to be too long he will give a little “awoowoo” to get your attention. Tanner is young and adorable, yes, but also comes with those great “starter-pack” skills. Leash-walking looks good and you could easily get out for a walk or a stroll to brunch and be proud to call him yours. When we introduced Tanner to dogs he had never met, he was perfectly playful and had great dog-manners, knowing when to back off, take breaks and kept his excitement under-control. I was obsessed with him from the moment I saw him but watching him jump into the pool to cool off was what sealed his hold on my heart. He was so content and self-assured it was a joy to watch! Tanner is friendly without being pushy, he wants to say hello but will wait patiently for you to meet his eyes, he isn’t going to jump or make noise, he knows that is a bit rude. Not one time, even when treats were being offered (which he loves), did he jump or get overly excited. He is such a well-behaved boy it is easy to forget that he is a middle-ager, freshly out of his “puppy” days. Tanner has all the elements of, what we lovingly call a daycare dog, he is easy-going and his playful approach with other dogs would be well suited for doggy-daycare for a fun day out and to fulfill his playful dog-side. He doesn’t need that level of play everyday though, he is mellow inside and happy to hang out or play with a toy on his own. An ideal home would include occasional adventures, hike or day-trips to the lake or beach, and walks around the neighborhood. A yard is always fun but with chances to play and walk, it isn’t a necessity. Tanner’s size makes him a great candidate for apartment/condo life. A playful friend would be awesome and a pool of any size, even a kiddie pool to splash around in, would be a bonus! If you have any questions about Tanner or would like us to test him for a specific setting or detail, please be in touch! We can make most anything happen to ensure he is the correct fit for you and your life! Please email samanthar@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Meet Billy A dog with personality plus! Billy is 5 years old and this boy is totally unique! Very vocal...loves to talk to you. He's good with other dogs3but actually would prefer to have all of the attention. Billy is great with RESPECTFUL children and loves to cuddle and be loved on. Billy also loves to drink water3! We had a full panel bloodwork to make sure there were3no issues. Bloodwork came back perfect. He needs to have his water bowls picked up after he's had a drink or He will continue to drink. His adoption fee is 350.00 He's totally vetted and vaccinated and rabies and microchip.
