Kaya is the sweetest of all sweet girls. She possesses the perfect balance of playful and snuggle. She’ll take whatever attention she can get, but she’s not a complete velcro dog. She will go lie in her crate when she wants to get away. She is kennel trained and is working on going potty outside and is doing a great job! She has also taught herself to use the doggie door. This former mama is great with both cats and dogs and adores kiddos! I still have a way to go but I wanted to share a bit about me. I was left abandoned at the shelter from a very questionable background. Unable to hold in any food my timeline was cut short at the shelter. Thank goodness Church of Pug said yes to giving me a chance. My foster mom took me to this dog doctor who did not think I had much time left. No one could explain what was happening with me. Luckily my foster mom and the dogtor did not give up on trying to find out what was causing me to be so sick. All I knew ... I was SO HUNGRY, but no matter how much I ate I could not gain weight, and my body was breaking down. Luckily, a special test gave everyone the answer ... I have something called Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (EPI) which I guess means my pancreas does not work so well UNLESS I have these awesome enzymes that help me absorb nutrients AND I am FINALLY feeling full and getting healthy and strong. Even with all of these things I can proudly say I am completely potty trained. No accidents for me. I like my space ... and I gravitate to the cat vs. the other dogs in the house. I sleep through the night and when I want to be pet or cuddle, I put up my paw and gently grab your hand or arm. I am still unsure about people ... I don't like to be picked up ... so when I want on the couch I growl when I go from floor to next to you ... but then I stop. If I am not sure what you are doing or your intentions, I will growl. It's my way to say I'm uncomfortable but I would never hurt anyone, I swear. I am really trying to behave like a dog who is loved, vs a dog who was hurt. I believe I can learn to trust again I just hope my forever home has the patience to help me get to that happy place. For my comfort a home with kids and wild hyper pups would not suit me. I prefer the calmer of the pack and the kitty cat. I know I will find my forever family when I am healthy enough. Until then big woofs from me, Marty.

Hi, I'm Ms Piggles. I'm single and looking to find my forever home with no other dogs.. I might be 8 years old but I'm no senior. I'm not a push puppy. I'm mature, house trained, crate trained, and leash trained. So there. I am lady with Frenchitude so I'm definitely be the alpha and need to be an only dog girl. Its ok if we have company, I don't mind eating in the other room or even my crate. If you want to take short walks, I'm good with that, not really my thing. I am not a girl that wants to be fussed over unnecessarily so I won't be wearing any sweaters if I'm not in the mood. Rumors I hear the Hoomans say is that 'I'm an awesome lap dog and loves to snuggle'. Waiting for you ;) That being said, I just need a strong owner that's going to tell me how I'm going to behave.

My name is Gigi from Korea and I am a wonderful approx. 6 year old female French Bulldog. I am about 15 lbs. and hoping to find a forever home. I am friendly and was saved from an illegal Breeding Farm in South Korea. I was rescued with many others by local activists from the horrific conditions we were in. I fought to survive every day and was so badly neglected. Korea kills an estimated 1.5 -2 million dogs a year to be eaten. I just want a chance to be part of a family and for someone to love and care for me. I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family. Take me on car rides, walks in the park and I will become your best friend. I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs. I will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of love and affection! On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will come to your home and help train your new pup. My adoption fee of $1,495 will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle. A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs. You can bring your own when adopting or you can purchase an AirTag from us. The adoption fee is firm and helps save the life of another dog needing rescue and our other dogs in need of medical care. We do not guarantee the breed and age of the dogs. Donations are always appreciated to help pay down our vet bills at Greenwood Vet. Ginger's Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501C-3 organization.
