Story
Charlie Mistermeanor is a French Bulldog/ShihTzu mix. Born 10/2/2022. He is a sweet snuggly boy who is also easily excitable. He is compact and dense. He has always been around other dogs and NEEDS TO BE AN ONLY DOG for awhile so he can focus on training and learn manners. He has a funny personality and will bootie bump you for back scratches, just above the tail is his favorite. Loves to run zoomies randomly. He loves kids. He doesn’t bite but does love to nibble and lick fingers and toes, I have tried to stop the behavior but was unsuccessful. He is not neutered, I wait till at least 2 years old. I have tried to make it work for over a year but he is stressing out my 2 smallest dogs that I have had for over 6-16years for over a year but it hasn’t worked. My smallest dog is having an autoimmune stress response which is very costly to treat. I realize I love Charlie but a different environment would be better for him and the other members of our family. It breaks my heart to do this

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Introducing Jazzy! She is a 7-month-old, 12lb French Bulldog puppy who came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA. She is a super sweet and spunky girl! Jazzy is the life of the party and has a big personality ~ there is never a dull moment with her around. She does great with other dogs and would be an awesome additional dog to a home or be fine as an only dog, soaking up all the love and attention which she so deserves. She has a lot of energy and a lot of love to give so we are looking for a home that can keep up with her and provide her with the care and attention she needs. Due to her energetic and bouncy nature, we are looking for an adult only home or home with older children. We are looking for a flat-faced breed experienced household. She is going to make an awesome and incredibly fun addition to any lucky household that adopts her. Jazzy is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $800.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Booker He is a sweet, very active, 9-years-young French Bully Boy. Poor Booker ended up in a High-kill shelter when his humans were done using him as a stud dog. B ooker is a dog who thrives on human company. He enjoys walking and playing with a ball, but what he really craves is someone who can be with him all the time. His time in the shelter has left him longing for love and attention, and he's hoping to find a person who can provide that. If you are familiar with the French bulldog or love adventurous dogs, Booker has a lot of life left in him and will bring you years of joy and love. He still acts like a two-year-old and has no idea he is a young senior. Booker loves to cuddle and be petted. Booker will need some dedicated training, as he received none in his past life, but he is intelligent, and with patience, he will learn. Booker did very well in his temporary foster home. He was good with all three of their dogs and the two puppies he was rescued with. How To Adopt Booker Please use the link below to apply. One of our volunteers will look over the application and call to follow up with questions, answer yours, and see if you are a match for this pup.  The next step is a meet and greet if a match can be made. Please use a computer, as tablets and cell phones will drop the application. Booker has been transitioned to a human-grade diet that avoids kibble in place of a healthy canine-specific feeding regimen. We will educate his adopters on proper diet and nutrition for his and his new buddies.  To apply to adopt Booker, he has a $650.00 adoption fee.  All monies will be recycled to cover medical care and rescue more dogs. Please fill out the online application using this link.  Please be thorough in your answers and expound whenever possible so we get to know you and can make the best match.      https ://rompinpawsrescue.com Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 18, 2024, 6:06 pm

Story
Meet Roman, the black and white French bulldog who loves to get up close and personal! This charming gentleman is the ultimate cuddle buddy, always ready to snuggle up with you. Roman is well-mannered and gets along with other dogs after a slow introduction. He's potty trained and prefers his bathroom breaks on the sidewalk, though he might mark a paper bag or cardboard box occasionally. Roman is quite the character with his comical, goose-like bark that's sure to make you smile. He's strong on the leash and a bit territorial during walks, so he'll need someone who can handle his strength and help him stay calm. Roman loves his walks and is food motivated, making training a breeze as he already knows basic commands. He enjoys car rides and is a total sweetheart who just needs a little space to feel comfortable around other dogs. Whether he's snoozing in his crate or cozying up in bed with his foster parents, Roman is ready to find his forever home with someone who can appreciate his unique quirks and lovable personality. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will be your gentle giant, Roman is the perfect match! * Thank you for your interest in adopting a dog from Little Dog Rescue. Our dogs come from a variety of sources and backgrounds. They are all in need of adopters that have patience, an understanding of where these dogs have come from, and that there will be an adjustment time when they transition into their forever home. This can include learning basic commands, walking on leash and potty training. Some dogs will pick up on your routine and expectations faster than others. Potty accidents will happen. We find that positive reinforcement, consistency, and routine from the adopter achieves the best results. We are a small, all volunteers team and give 100% of our efforts towards doing right by these pups. We are often juggling many responsibilities at the same time and do our very best to process inquiries and applications in a timely manner. We do prioritize inquiries that have a submitted application on file through the Little Dog Rescue website. We do our best to accurately assign breed designations, however we are unable to guarantee 100% accuracy. Sometimes we only have the dog's appearance to go on. Our adoption fees are thoughtfully considered. The adoption fee is not a purchase price for the dog. It is a fee that is designed to support the overall work of our rescue. Highly desirable dogs and puppies are intentionally listed with a higher adoption fee. This is done to help offset the enormous medical expenses we incur when taking in older pups and special needs medical dogs whose adoption fees do not come close to covering their expenses. In addition, the vast majority of our dogs are brought in from out of state and incur transport fees along with their medical and acquisition costs. We ask that you take all of these things into consideration, and we look forward to finding a great match for your family.
