Story
Hi, I am Bourne. I am a sweet, cuddly and loving pup looking for a home. I like to cuddle, explore and chew on bones. I can be fearful in new places and around new people at first so I need a home without young children. I would like to meet you, warm up and become your new best friend.

Story
Keyser is a 2.5 yr old pure bread German Shepherd neutered male. We picked him up from a breeder in Missouri when he was approx. 10 weeks old. We had a Shepherd years ago and wanted to try another one. We are now living in a closer subdivision then previously and he is a Shepherd through and through. As in, barks at perimeter people and animals. This is what we listed as a "behavioral problem". He has become better as we have worked with him but we don't feel this is the best environment for him. The only health issue he has is that he has an overbite (has not caused any issues as of yet - teeth seem to be adjusting and not growing into upper pallet). Keyser is very good with children and we have another dog in our house. He is very playful still and our older dog needs to get a break from him from time to time. He is extremely loyal and protective of his entire clan (typical shepherd). All in all a good dog.

Story
Meet Becca! This beautiful girl is ready to find her forever home! Bonus: we're pretty sure her satellite ears get all the local channels. From her current foster: " We have lovingly nick named Becca as Bumble B. B will come when you call, sit and lay down. She is crate trained (barking/whinning is a test if you will really leave her in there and subsides quickly once comfortable in the home). B LOVES; playing with other dogs, splashing in her water bowl, chasing sprinklers, a good game of tug-o-war, and getting all the attention. She will provide you with tons of love and laughs free of charge. However, B will protect you fiercely. She has stranger danger and does not want anyone in her home that she thinks doesn't belong (A shower does make you a new person, but for only a moment). I would not list her as cat friendly at this time, and with kids I would be cautious. We had one nip (no broken skin) but since then we have had zeros issues biting intentionally. She is still a puppy meaning she can be mouthy, and no toes are not off limits. This silly Bumble B needs someone as special as her. Someone who will take the time to work through her fears, and provide her with the stability/structure she needs! Her previous foster says that "Becca has become a cuddle enthusiast. She's learned "sit and "come. She's still working on potty training but is having fewer and fewer accidents indoors. She sleeps in the bed with us and sleeps through the night with no potty accidents. She chases cars but we're working on that. She's overcome her fear of strangers! She also plays well with other dogs. She will definitely need a home that can provide lots of exercise and stimulation. She's a very smart girl but requires a lot of patience because she's mischievous haha." ADOPTION FEE: $550 We are a foster-based rescue and generally do not have pups available to meet at our office except during adoption events on Saturdays. Not every dog attends every adoption event. Interested in this pup? The first step is to complete our online application by clicking the "Apply for Adoption" button. Please note that we are only able to finalize adoptions at events for approved adopters. The earlier you apply, the better as it takes time to review and approve applications. We host adoption events almost every Saturday from 10:00am to 1:00pm at our rescue office (1721 W Harmony, unit 102, Fort Collins, Co 80526)! Check our Instagram and/or Facebook page for info on where we will be hosting adoptions this weekend! All Aboard Animal Rescue saves dogs and puppies from high-kill shelters in other states. These pups are brought to Colorado, where they are required to be spayed or neutered - breaking the cycle of unwanted litters of puppies who end up as strays! Please consider supporting us in this mission by adopting, fostering, volunteering, or donating.

Story
Stacie was adopted in May of this year and was recently returned to us due to no fault of her own. This sweet girl is looking for a patient and loving home that is ready to give her the structure and training she needs. She is friendly with everyone and would be a perfect adventure buddy. If you're looking for an active pup to join you on your hikes and camping adventures, Stacie is the girl for you! From Stacie's Current Foster: "She's napping in her kennel right now. It's so cute she pushes the door open and just curls up in her kennel with her blankets. But it's crazy how much confidence she's gotten since being here. The girls have really helped her get out of her shell; she's super playful and cuddly and listens so well. From Stacie's Previous Foster: "Stacie is the most beautiful, smart, teachable, loyal, & loving girl. Absolutely incredible with children and other dogs. Loves learning/training and picks up on things quickly. She is the best family dog & has the best cuddles! Stacie is so sweet. Absolutely LOVES other dogs and plays really well." Story
Meet Xander, a Male, 8 mo. old, 41 lb, German Shepherd mix who is as goofy and playful as he is stunningly handsome! Xander comes to us from Texas and is currently living with 4 siblings, 2 canine & 2 feline. Xander is super playful and loves attention. He gives the best hugs and is as happy snuggling next to you as he is exploring the world outside. Xander is dog & cat friendly and is incredibly sweet and gentle with kids. He's very curious and is amazingly smart. He's still a puppy and has the energy you'd expect, however he's very responsive to training and is thriving in a home environment. Xander sleeps through the night in a crate and is doing well with potty training (no accidents in the house yet)!!! Xander will do best in a home with a yard and a 6' security fence. This boy loves to run, fetch and play with his favorite teddy bear. Xander would love to have an active canine brother or sister to play with but will do equally well with active humans. This handsome guy is pretty much the ideal companion and will be a dedicated, loyal, and hilarious addition to anyone's life. Xander is being fostered in Denver with Big Bones Canine Rescue and would love to meet you!

Meet Riley! Riley was recently returned due to no fault of his own. He is INCREDIBLY smart, playful and learns so so quickly. He loves kids, and has the cutest zoomies! He knows basic commands, like sit, stay, shake and come. Riley is the most gentle, kind and sweet baby. He loves to roll over and get belly rubs and cuddle with his person. He is perfect with other dogs and perfect with kids. He is already used to be in a home and mostly potty trained! I do think he will get a little bit bigger. He is eager to please and is so incredibly trainable. He is being fostered in Thornton, apply today and come meet this sweet guy!

Story
Hiro is a 45 lbs, 7 year old, German Shepherd mix that lost his home (along with his two canine siblings) when his family moved and didn’t take them. Since coming to CO, Hiro joined a fun foster family with other dogs and kiddos. He’s in heaven! Hiro is adjusting well, but we think he would appreciate a more mature home. He’s active and adventurous and will do well with an active home and a fenced in yard. He’s house and crate trained. Hiro enjoys playing with his canine foster siblings and snuggling on the couch with his foster moms. You can also find him sprawling across the bed in his best “paint me like a french girl” pose. Hiro is being fostered in Parker, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. * You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/hiro/.
