This sweet boy was found as a stray, but he’s ready to leave his wandering days behind and become someone’s loyal best friend.True to his breed, Pal is a “Velcro dog” through and through—he loves being close to his people and thrives on companionship. He’s great with everyone he meets, from kids to adults, and he gets along well with other dogs, too!Pal is the perfect mix of affectionate and friendly, making him an ideal addition to any loving home. Whether you’re looking for a cuddle buddy, a walking partner, or just a loyal companion, Pal is ready to fill your life with joy and unconditional love.If you’re looking for a loyal shadow who’s sweet to the core, Pal is your guy!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.January 22, 2025, 10:04 pm

Story
Meet Luke! He’s a smart loyal boy who just wants to be loved! He’s a beautiful senior boy between 7-8 years old. But a young senior who still loves to play and run! He loves walks, hikes, playing fetch but also loves a good nap!! Sad story, Luke was found in Nov. starving and homeless on the street, we saved him from TX 4 days before he was to be Euthanized. We brought him home to CT in hopes we could give him a good home filled with love & lots of spoiling for the rest of his days! Unfortunately, our dogs don’t get along with Luke. He knows sit, stay, come, we are working on give when playing fetch, . He wants to but he loves his disc too much! He loves Treats & will sit & wait for it! He’s a great dog but needs to be the ONLY DOG! He loves to cuddle & thinks he’s a lap dog! Once he gets to know you, he will lay on his back & want his belly rubbed!! Please give this wonderful boy the life he deserves with dignity & love. He is loyal & loves his humans! He’s just needs love

Story
Beckett is a 4 month nugget, adorable little mixed breed puppy and we think he is so cute we can hardly stand it! He is well socialized, friendly, loves to play with his dog friends, LOVES people, and is just generally a very good time. Hobbies are napping, eating, finding mischief, and stealing kisses! Waiting for his forever home This puppy Is spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, treated for all of the intestinal parasites, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Because intestinal parasites are cyclical, your puppy may need additional treatment once you get him/her home. This is common and nothing to be alarmed about. Puppies and dogs need to be treated periodically for parasites throughout their entire lives. The adoption fee is $550 if your adoption is prepaid prior to your pup's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on puppies that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! More and more of our adopters are having fun with DNA tests on their pups. You might ask yourself why our breed guess is varying degrees of difference from the DNA tests. Most of our puppies are rescued from high kill shelters or other abandonment situations and we have no info on parents. When we rescue puppies that have no background info, we make our very best educated guess as to breed mix and age. Our guesstimate comes from years and years and years of animal welfare work and training, but our guesses won't always agree with your vet, your neighbor, your DNA test, etc. The most important thing to know about your puppy's breed mix is that most likely he/she is a Super Lovable Mutt made of many many many different breeds. If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at the Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get an automatically generated confirmation email. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back. After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. ARRIVING at Give a Dog a Home Rescue in Sebec, Maine on 29th January 2025, but you can still apply to adopt! RITA was saved and cared for by Muscat Dog Adoption, before sending him with other saved dogs to Give a Dog a Home Rescue in Sebec, Maine. They arrived in the US on 28th January 2025 and were transported to the rescue where they are settling in. RITA was cleared by the US canine center for diseases upon entry into the US. She is spayed, rabies, core vaccines, heartworm and tick tested negative, is on monthly preventatives, microchipped, weighs around 33 pounds and has an estimated date of birth or 10 March 2024. Stray dogs in Oman are referred to as "Wadi Dogs" and are a mix of the popular sighthound breeds, specifically thought to be descendents of the majestic Saluki and other smaller breeds, many resembling whippets with their small agile frames. If not saved these dogs are often shot or brutally ran over and left for dead. We are looking for families that have the lifestyle that the dog needs to lead a healthy, both mentally and physically life, who can afford a GOOD quality food, toys and treats and understand the importance of veterinary wellness checks. RITA is available for adoption for an adoption fee of $550, as noted she is located at the rescue in Sebec, Maine and families are required to complete and submit an  adoption application and when approved schedule an appointment to come to the rescue to meet and hopefully take home this precious girl home. Applications are processed with 24 hours of them being received. Link to the Adoption Application To look at lots more photo's be sure to check out our Facebook Page ALBUMS where we are able to upload hundreds of photos of our dogs waiting for their forever homes and families.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 20, 2025, 10:42 pm
