Story
Hi- I found this guy about a month ago and have been nursing him back to health. He was dragging a heavy chain, and a belt used as a collar that was on very tightly. He was underweight by about 25 lbs per my vet. He now has a proper collar and harness and is doing well. He loves to run and play ball. He is learning to walk on a leash. He seems to have all the traditional German Sheperd traits, very smart and alert. He is under 2 years old, not chipped, not yet neutered. He loves personal attention. I have a reactive dog, so I need to find this guy a loving home.

Story
Tank is a good dog who needs a best friend. He'll be 2 years old in April and he's an energetic fun loving dog. He likes to stay close to his owner and he'll be your buddy. He is crate trained, house trained, leash trained and well socialized. We adopted him in October and are looking for a new home because we have 5 young children and we realized adding a dog to the family is more than we can handle at this time. He's mostly good with children but gets nervous around a LOT of children. We have 5 kids and he's good with them but he seems to get overwhelmed and shows signs of aggression when we have their friends over.

Story
Ryback was acquired from a GSD breeder in Crestview Fl and belonged to a former roommate who left him with me. He is 4 years old on March 15, intact and weighs approx. 80 lbs. The dog was not socially trained as a puppy but is fully housebroken, kennel trained and knows basic commands ie sit, shake hand, fetch and down. He is really well behave but needs work on walking on a leash. This is a big part of the reason he needs a new home. I am a 64 year old, smallish female and cannot walk him or take him to vet visits etc. He deserves a home where someone can give him the training, love and preferably a fenced yard to run in. I have two infant grandchildren (and their parents) who will be moving in with me in April and the parents are understandably nervous to have this big dog around the children even though he has never acted aggressive to them. Please consider giving the lovable dog a place in your home.

Story
After 5 months in the shelter, Sasha came to us on August 12, 2024, to start heartworm treatment. She’s now heartworm-free and ready for a home, but still hasn’t received a single application. At approximately 7 years old, she’s full of life but tires faster due to past heartworm damage. She’s potty/crate trained, ball-obsessed, and loves daily walks. Sasha is a shadow dog—she’ll follow you everywhere and soak up affection. She’s friendly with strangers, has no guarding instincts, and is calm indoors. She’s not a lap dog but will always ask for pets and nap close by. Sasha thrives on routine and needs patience and enrichment in new places. She’s great in the car but initially anxious in unfamiliar settings. She cannot live with cats or small dogs due to high prey drive. A soft, tolerant large dog may be okay with an experienced handler, but she’d be happiest as the only pet. She is located in Jacksonville, FL but we are willing to travel for the right home!

Story
With a heavy heart I post this, but I can no longer care for my dog Hailey, no fault of her own. She was adopted and has spent about 2 years with us. Her other owner up and left moved away, leaving her with me. I don't have the time in my life for a dog on my own. She is kennel trained but would love for her to go to a family who is around a little more. Hailey is a sweetheart. She loves playing with cat friends and children. She's never shown aggression towards them. She can be around other dogs with a slow introduction! Can be a little high strung but mellows once she says her hello. She would thrive with a yard she can run in, right now she is reduced to apartment living and short walks. I have all of her things (bed, slow eater food/water stand, brushes, extra leashes and collars, hygiene products, ect.) and want them to go with her.

Story
Luna is a sweet girl. She’s a German Shepherd female about 8 months. She is high energy and loves to go on walks. She has had some basic obedience classes, and would do best with someone who is experienced with dogs, has a large backyard and has a lot of time to spend with her to keep her active and interested. She’s a food resourcer and does need to be fed independently if there are any other dogs in the home. She’s is playful and gets along well with most other dogs. She is still definitely a puppy and very willing to learn and master new tricks with treats.

If INTERESTED IN ADOPTING PLEASE GO TO OUR WEBSITE www.k-9services.net READ BIO BELOW Odin Adoption Bio: Location: Green Cove Springs, Florida (Shep Rescue Camp) Adoption Requirements: No Rental Homes Must have Fenced in Yard Rescue & Health: Odin was picked up as a stray near the woods. He will be neutered April 1st, he is current on vaccinations, flea, tick, heartworm prevention and is microchipped. Behavior: Odin arrived in Rescue very thin and shut down. He is now happy playing with the pack and has started to investigate playing with toys. He is very young, his teeth are sparkling white and hardly any tarter on his back molars which indicate his age showing to be approximately 10 months old to a year. Odin does have separation anxiety he will bark if left along in his kennel but is slowly getting better with each day. He needs structure and routine and would really benefit with someone able to spend the time with him. He is good with cats, other dogs, kids unsure we can child test upon request. He has been great with our Volunteers but can be a bit shy at first. He just would like to be with someone and lay by their feet or near them. Overall he is a very sweet boy, that didn't a life being homeless fending for himself on the streets or in the woods. Story
We got Tux as a puppy from a rescue program April 2018 and he is now 6 1/2 years old. Our daughter is allergic to dogs and we have been doing all of the recommended actions; washing, vacuuming and allergy medicine. None of this has helped, she always has horrible colds and she just can't be a kid and roll on the floor or play with Tux. Tux needs a place were he can run around, go for walks and lay next to you for lots of love. He is very affectionate and loves attention. He loves to play tug-of-war and blankets but fetch turns into keep-away. We never socialized him with dogs but we do have a cat in the house that is the same age and they play just fine. He likes when company comes over for extra attention but can be a little much if you don't tell him to sit and wait for attention. Energetic, loving, loyal, extra friendly Comes with kennel, ,toys, some food and random dog stuff.

Cash is extremely energetic and loves to play ALL THE TIME! lol He has a sweet disposition, despite his size. He barks when he has to go out, again when he needs to eat, and again when he needs to use the bathroom. We got him from my husband's co-worker. Cash is 2 years old. He needs lots of room to run around. He just has too much energy, and my medical issues can't keep up with him. He deserves more than what I can give him right now.
