Story
Kobe turned 4 years old on June 17th of 2024. We bought him at 7 weeks old from a breeder. We found out that he may be a German shepherd mix from the vet, but you wouldn’t know. Perhaps the mother was part German and part something else. He has had the perfect ears since he was a puppy. He has no behavioral issues. Kobe is a sweet dog with a great temperament. He loves kids and loves to cuddle. Never bites, but will protect those he loves. He energetic and wants to play. He loves to play fight and play fetch. He is very intelligent and has been trained on basic commands. Sit, stay, go through legs, roll over, down. Easy candidate for higher level training. He loves chest and neck rubs. He’s a big baby.

Story
Sunny is an affectionate, adventurous, intelligent, active six month old shepherd mix. Her mother is a purebred working-line German Shepherd and her father is a McNab Shepherd. She was born and spent the first couple months of her life on a farm surrounded by livestock, other dogs, cats, and young children. She loves other dogs and is living with three other dogs and two cats in her foster home. She has been introduced to basic obedience training but is still very much a work in progress, like all puppies. She can be a bit shy and suspicious when first meeting new animals and people but warms up quickly and overall is quite resilient, inquisitive, and social. Due to her breed mix and young age, continued training and socialization as well as prior experience with herding breeds are requirements for anyone considering adopting Sunny. This is a puppy that thrives on structure and loves to learn. She would be an excellent candidate for an active individual or family looking for a lively, loving companion. Sunny’s adoption fee is $300 and includes vaccinations, deworming, microchip, and training consultation (optional). ***Prior experience with a herding breed is a firm requirement. Puppy adopters must also sign a spay/ neuter contract.***

Story
Have you ever wanted a pet that loves you and your family and no one else? That will adore you and their pack, but outsiders are viewed with caution? Well, meet Shirley. Shirley is a semi-feral pup. She was born apx May 2018. Shirley was trapped with her siblings by animal control. It will take patience and trust to seek human company.  Shirley is ok with most other dogs and is fine with cats, actually a bit scared of some of them. She loves our office kitty Dean and he loves her. She loves her toys; she will run around with them and do zoomies. She will bond with her family and be a devoted family member. All it takes is time and patience.  Shirley is available for foster to adopt. This will allow Street Paws to provide all the help and support their new family needs to begin their lives together. Ferals make excellent pets with just a little time. They usually are very laid-back and easy dogs once you gain their trust.  A home with a fenced-in yard or kennel for potty time is strongly encouraged. She is not an ideal dog for children. Contact us if you are interested in becoming a member of our growing Street Paws pack! She currently lives at our office. She has a doggie door that she uses to get into her outdoor house. She zoomies when she sees her caretaker arrive. Loves treat time! She likes to sneak the cat food bowls and take them to her bed. She did great with her recent vet checkup.  https://youtu.be/E8A4Ed-xgUg Shirley's adoption is limited to Metro Atlanta due to her needs and to allow us to assist in her transition, certain circumstances may allow exceptions. To apply to adopt this pet, please fill out a Preliminary Adoption Application at https://streetpaws.org/adopting/dog-puppy-pre-adoption-application/. This application does not commit you to an adoption. It is used to screen those interested to make sure the home is a good match for the pet and your family. We verify vet history on current/previous pets to ensure pets have been spayed/neutered and vaccinated annually. Please call your vet to give permission for us to call them. Our adoption fee is $250. They have been given age-appropriate vaccinations, are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested and treated, if necessary, dewormed, have received flea prevention, and are micro-chipped. We will ensure the microchip is registered. If more information is needed regarding the pet email info@streetpaws.org. You must complete the pre-application to obtain approval to meet the pet. Just over a year old she is very loving and sweet! Puppy energy so a patient, and attentive home would be ideal. She is very friendly and eager to learn. Active and breed experienced home prefered! She is spayed and up to date on shots. Angelique would make a wonderful addition to a loving home. A adult only home, or a home with older children is best. Fenced in yard is a must for angelique. Angelique needs to be the only pet in the home. Interested? Send us a email inquiry and we will get a application over to you!!August 19, 2024, 3:11 pm

Story
Beautiful Stefani is available for adoption. Two year old female current on vaccinations, spayed and on monthly preventative. Stefani gets along with cats and people. Due to her size no smaller children. Stefani takes the role of the dominant female of the pack,so a home with another calm male would be best. Stefani would also do great as the only dog in the home. She likes being close to people and gets anxious when alone,so a home where she would be able to spend much of her time with you is ideal. Someone with a flexible schedule or who works from home would be a good fit. Stefani loves to ride in the car so someone in the truck driving industry would be great for her. She is a special girl who needs the right owner who has the experience to help her work through her anxiety. But also love her knowing no dog is perfect! We know her person is out here. If you know of anyone who may be interested in Stefani please share this posting with them. Or maybe that special someone is you ?! Please send us a email inquiry or visit our website to apply. An approved application is required to meet any dogs in rescue.August 19, 2024, 3:11 pm
