Story
Meet DIXIE! 🐾 This adorable girl is just the perfect package!! Dixie found herself, through no fault of her own, in a rural shelter that keep most of their pups outside under tarps and with hay in the winter. One look at that face and we scooped her right up. We were shocked to find out how sweet, loving and gentle this adorable doll was. This amazing girl just loves life and hanging out with her people and dog buddies. She is the first to welcome you home and last to leave your side. She has the perfect energy one is looking for in a dog. Dixie is approximately 5 months and practically out of all those time consuming puppy stages. 💖 Personality: Goofy, playful and energetic. Dixie has a wonderful temperament and gets along great with her foster mates. She is super smart and a fast learner. She will be up for learning any new tricks you might want to throw her way. She is fostering in a home in Memphis, TN and her foster mom would love to tell you all about her. Dixie is going to be great family companion and she is ready to be your new best friend! If you’re ready to give DIXIE a lifetime of belly rubs, treats, and a cozy bed, please reach out! Let’s find this sweet pup the forever home she soooo deserves. 🐶💕 Once adopted she will travel via the Rescue Transport to her new family. They travel each and every weekend from Memphis, Tennessee to the north east, delivering pups along the way as far north as West Greenwich, Rhode Island. Transport is an additional $185. If you would like to make this cutie part of your family please follow the link below to our adoption application. Our turnaround time is typically less than 24 hours so please be prepared before you submit your application. https://forms.gle/APKvbgFJcaRvgKgk9

Say hello to DINO! This bundle of joy came into the rescue and stole everyone’s heart immediately. His kind endearing eyes will make your heart melt. Dino was a puppy that was found by a wonderful person at the person’s place of employment. He fed Dino daily and allowed him to sleep in his car on his lunch breaks. Dino remained loyal and stayed around the place of work until they reached out for help from the rescue. To this day he loves cars and feels very safe from the outside cruel world inside of one. Dino has now been placed in a loving foster home and is learning to play wonderful with the foster’s big dogs and puppies that are fostering with him half his size. Dino is doing great in a crate and potty training. This guy catches on really quick. He is so appreciative of having a safe environment to thrive. He will lay on you or keep his head in your lap forever if you will allow. Personality: Dino is goofy, energetic, and playful! He does well with correction. Dino would be great in a home with another dog to keep showing the ropes of puppy life. He is soooooo ready to be your new best friend and would love a home where he can grow to be a wonderful life long family companion. Once adopted Dino will travel via the Rescue Transport to his new family. Story
Hugh was rescued from a kill shelter in CA. He is a big, happy goofball of over 100 lbs. He is very puppyish and loves to play. Hugh has been around kids and other dogs, and does fine. He seems to ignore the cats so we believe he will be OK with them. Hugh is mostly housebroken and is crate trained, and is learning to walk nicely on a leash. This guy would like an active home, but does know how to chill - he has done some training in a home environment so is well on his way to knowing his house manners. Hugh will make a great companion - he is a really fun boy! Story
Finn is a beautiful big boy of just over 2 yrs. He is housebroken and incredibly loyal. He has several weeks of professional training and knows his commands, including "place" and walks well on a leash. He's playful and athletic. Finn would like a stronger handler with breed experience. He can be protective of his people and home without proper guidance from his people. Finn has lived with another dog. He can be a bit dominant. Story
EXCELLENT DOG ALERT! The lovely Heidy has arrived in Maine, and is looking for her perfect home! We rescued Heidy from the Moreno Valley Shelter in CA a couple of months ago. She went to the shelter because her elderly owners passed away. Heidy is only 3 yrs old and she is a big girl of 80 lbs. Unfortunately, her owners never gave Heidy a lick of any training, manners etc. Luckily a trainer out in CA had a spot for her while we waited for transport, so Heidy has learned her manners, and is now good on leash, and knows her commands! She was also well socialized, taken out in public etc. She has learned a LOT, and knows down, sit, stay, and shake. She is also crate trained! She is a smart girl! The trainer says Heidi has an excellent disposition, and is good with both male and female dogs. She is big and can be rambunctious, so she will be looking for an active home that will walk and hike with her! If you are an active and loving home and would like to open your home and heart to one of our dogs, please fill out our online application to get the approval process started. We will not schedule meet and greets without an approved app on file.
