Story
Chief is a one-year-old very active, playful, people loving dog. Wherever he thinks there are people, he wants to be there, loves attention and affection! He was purchased at 8 weeks old from a seller outside of Minneapolis, MN, who told us his parents were from Mexico and Texas. He had two other siblings. He's been raised with another dog, cats and grandchildren. He would be most at home in a rural setting or someplace with a large area to run and exercise.

Story
Just look at that handsome face! Rosco is a 4yr old GSD that is around 81lbs of love! Rosco does well on leash and is just the happiest of boys! Treats and toys are definitely the key to his heart. Currently Rosco is in a play group with a couple of other dogs and is doing well. He really isn`t much of a player with other dogs, just likes to stroll around with them. Our sweet boy needs to get out of the shelter, this environment is just not a fit for him. Rosco gets anxiety here in the kennels and just starts chewing away at his back or his tail. Once out of the kennel he can truly calm down and just be a happy boy! We haven`t gotten to see him around kids or cats but that can easily be done! Adoption fee is $200 plus tax. Find us on Facebook to be updated on events and shelter news! All animals up for adoption at the Hawk Creek Animal Shelter are spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested negative (if age appropriate), up to date on vaccinations (a booster may be needed), given flea and tick preventative, given heartworm preventative, dewormed, and treated for anything necessary: such as dental cleanings, ear infections, etc. Please visit our website for prices and more information about our hours. No pre-applications are accepted, please come to the shelter with your family with no appointment needed. If you have another dog, we’d like an appointment to do a meet and greet with your other dog. We can cat test here at the shelter. If you have questions, please email or call us and we’ll answer your questions the best we can. Potty training is not guaranteed nor implied. Go to, WWW.THEHSKMC.COM for all your information. Animals’ fees are not waived unless noted in this description.
