Story
Location: Ruthton, MN Hello! My name is Crosby and I am the sweetest boy you'll ever meet. I love to follow my humans around and constantly get pets (and treats)! My dream home would be one that comes with a lot of love, naps, treats, and going on walks! I am happiest when I'm playing outside. My foster moms says I would do best with an active family or another doggy sibling to play with! Playing with other dogs is my favorite thing ever! I love dogs and people of all ages! I do like to play rough with cats sometimes, though. So, it'd be best if I go to a home with only dogs or with dog savvy cats that can get away from me if I'm playing too rough. They're just so much fun! I am still getting used to my playpen and spending time away from foster mom. I love playing with toys and I'm quite gentle with them too! I am quiet during the day and I sleep soundly throughout the night, especially if I get a bedtime treat (hint hint). I am extremely food motivated and I will learn any trick for a treat! I love treats, especially if my sister doesn't eat hers - more for me! I know my forever home is out there and I cannot wait to find it! ---------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (Distemper, Rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are a best guess.

Story
Location: Sioux Falls, SD Hi! My name is Fred! I am a big boy weighing in at 90lb, but I am the gentle giant type. I love pets and to chase tennis balls in the yard. It takes me a while to get comfortable with other dogs in the home, but I do like to play and wrestle once I get to know them. I enjoy sitting on the couch as much as I like to play, so I am a great combination of a couch potato and a fella that loves walks! I am used to being on a leash and I try not to pull unless I see something super interesting. I currently have a few cats as housemates. I like them a lot but sometimes they find my size and excitement to be a bit off putting, but I am always nice with them. I don't make a mess in my kennel and I got to the door to let my foster parents know that I need to go potty! I am a well behaved boy and I think I would make a great addition to your home! -------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Minneapolis, MN Woof there! The name's Hibiscus, and I'm on a mission to find my forever home. Don't let the flowery name fool you - I'm all boy, and I'm here to steal your heart (and maybe your socks). I'm what you'd call a balanced pup. I've got enough energy to keep things interesting, but I won't run you ragged. My ideal day? A solid play session with my favorite toys, followed by some quality couch time where I can use you as my personal pillow. It's called multitasking, folks! Now, let me tell you a bit about my mysterious past. I hail from a reservation in South Dakota, where I lived with my sister. Don't ask me for details though - my memory's a bit fuzzy on the early days. But hey, that just adds to my air of intrigue, right? Speaking of intrigue, you might be wondering what kind of dog I am. Well, let's just say I'm a little bit of everything! My DNA test came back with more plot twists than a soap opera. I'm 22% German Shepherd, 12% Bulldog, 8% Chihuahua, 6% American Eskimo Dog, and 5% Siberian Husky - with 16 more breeds thrown in for good measure. Talk about diversity! I like to think of myself as the superhero of the dog world - with the abilities and strengths of multiple breeds, I'm basically the Avengers in one furry package. I'm a modern dog with all my paperwork in order. Vaccinations? Check. Neutered? You betcha (though I try not to think about that too much). I'm also a champion sleeper and keep my crate cleaner than most college dorms. Now, I'll be honest - I'm still working on this whole "potty training" thing during the day. But hey, nobody's perfect, right? I promise I'm trying my best, and I've got a great track record at night! One of my best qualities? I'm a lover, not a fighter. I've never met a human I didn't like. I'm basically the dog version of a social butterfly, minus the wings and plus a wagging tail. Oh, and if you're looking for top-notch security, look no further. I've made it my life's mission to protect the world from the sinister squirrel menace. Those bushy-tailed terrors won't stand a chance with me around! And hey, between you and me, I've got some big dreams. Sure, being your best friend is my top priority, but I also aspire to be a fierce Viking raider (of the local shoe stores, that is). I've even picked out some cool Viking names for myself: Bjorn the Brave or Ragnar the Ruthless. Although, knowing my foster dad, he would probably think "Bjorn the Nitwit" is a better fit. A dog can dream, right? So, what do you say? Ready to add some fur, fun, and multi-breed magic to your life? Adopt me, and I promise to be the best decision you've made since discovering belly rubs! ----- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Sweet and beautiful. Max is a good boy. Loves walks and his people. Plays good with other dogs. He likes car rides and would love to get out and about more often. Max makes an excellent guard dog. He did a little too good of a job and on two separate occasions, once when his tie out broke and another when his collar broke, nipped someone who was walking by the property.Because of this I have to rehome him or put him down if I can't find someone who will take him. He is so gorgeous and so very sweet with his family. He is wonderfully patient with small children. He is not aggressive towards anyone that he knows or when he's out and about. He just guards the property.

Story
Charlie was adopted from a sherlter at 5m old, he’s currently 2 yrs old. Loves playing outside, good with other dogs (not really small dogs though). He does go to daycare for socialization and does great, they love him. He is very protective to him home and family. When unfamiliar people come by he is reactive and is hard to control. My 11 yo son’s friends can come and go, but other people have to watch out. He has never bitten anyone, but has nipped a friends shirt. He loves the car and being outside when we ice fish. Our issue is he has not gotten along with my father in law, who lives with us. Doesn’t allow him to freely come upstairs. He is crate trained. Knows commands: here, down, sit, upstairs, off, find it, place, (of course sometimes it’s of his choosing). Good on walks, my son walks him daily.

Gunner is an adorable sable male GSD. Gunner lost his mom suddenly and needed a place to go, so we took him in. Gunner had a knee surgery previously, so he does walk a little funny, but that does not stop him from playing with his jolly balls! Gunner should be the only dog in the home at this point in his life. He is crate trained, neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. Experience needed for Gunnar, he’s a great dog, but needs a strong handler. If you are interested in learning more about Gunner, you can apply on our website www.skylarsscholarships.org (the application is listed under the “more” tab).

Story
This is Chester. I’ve had him for 6 years and he’s some sort of Shepard mix. 7 years old. Vet records can be sent if requested. He does resource guard with his food from other dogs but is fine around humans. He has an alpha personality and should really be in a one dog home with no little kids. I unfortunately need to rehome him because he will occasionally fight with my other dog and I now have a 16 month son around. He is a very very sweet dog and loves to be outside. He is loyal and has the best personality. He’s outbreaks with my other dog are unpredictable and I can’t have that around my son. I love this dog to death and this site is my last chance for him. If you don’t have any dogs or kids around and looking for a loyal dog, I promise Chester is the right fit. I am located in maple grove but willing to work with just about anyone willing to give him a chance

Story
Hi! My name is Ripp and I bet you are wondering what an adorable puppy like me is doing up for adoption. I came to The Bond Between at only 6 months with some concerns for back leg weakness and a heart murmur. Recently I was diagnosed with fibrotic myopathy which means my muscles do not heal properly and become dense making it difficult for them to contract and do their job of moving when I want them to. There is no medical intervention to treat this so I am just learning to get around without full use of my back legs. However, since coming to rescue I've built up a lot of muscle with regular exercise and at home leg stretches so I am getting around, jumping into vehicles, and climbing stairs like any other puppy my age. The vet also noticed a heart murmur but the cardiologist says it's nothing to be concerned about. None of these things slow me down in the slightest, I am pain free and absolutely digging life! Speaking of digging did I mention how much I love digging in the mud? I am the happiest puppy in the world but I am most happy when I am causing chaos. I chase leaves, balls, squirrels and I even do a very good job of keeping up with my foster brothers. My foster mom thinks I don't even know I'm any different than any other dog. I am a pure bred German Shepherd which means I am high energy and very smart so I will need a family that can keep up with me and work on training to keep my mind busy. I am also very loveable, and loyal I give kisses and love cuddling after a busy day of chewing bones and playing. I am sometimes very clumsy and always very goofy, I do a lot of talking to my people and other dogs, I love when I get attention and I know a few cute head tilts and whines will get me a lot of "awws and attention from people. I am completely potty and crate trained but am working on leash manners and to not be so mouthy when I'm playing or bored. I get along great with other dogs and considering my age I would likely adapt nicely to other small animals in the home. I am 75lbs and still working on putting on weight and will definitely be a large dog when I'm all grown up. I may require a little extra work and commitment someday but I promise to pay you back with love in spades. Accepting applications for my new best friend today! Medical Bio: "I would love for my furever family to know a bit more about my medical history! I do have fibrotic myopathy, but at this time my mobility hasn't been getting any worse and I manage as best I can. Management of this with pain meds if they were ever necessary could be an option for me at some point in the future. I was also diagnosed with a heart condition called a ventricular septal defect which is essentially a hole in my heart and an associate heart murmur. Don't worry, they say it's really small and the cardiology specialist says they "don't ever expect this to be a concern for Ripp" Score. My adopters should know it may be recommended to have my heart checked annually for an echocardiogram for monitoring. Grain inclusive diets will be recommended for me and if a home cooked diet is preferred, a board certified veterinary nutritionist should be consulted."
