Current owner got jazzy from the humane society when she was 5 years old. Her owner has had her for 7 years. Jazzy is extremely intelligent, silly, confident, food driven, and loves water more than anything. Even though Jazzy is 12 years old, she is very healthy and loves to dance. Jazzy does not do well with cats but does well with dogs and children. Jazzy's current owner has moved there's no longer able to keep Jazzy at the new place. Jazzy is the current owners emotional support dog and means the world to her. Jazzy needs someone or a family that will love her and make the rest of her years joyful.

Meeko is a fun loving 4 year old German shepherd. She is an extrovert who loves playing with new friends at the park. She loves going for runs and exploring new areas. She loves to cuddle and will stay close by your side. I’m looking to rehome her due to moving out of the country and want to find her a loving home in the States.

Tank German shepherd mix Neutered Male 3 years old, 75 pounds  Tank is a handsome German shepherd mix in need of a stable foster or adoptive home so he can avoid yet another trip to a shelter in his young life. Estimated at 3-4 years of age, he was adopted in 2022 and has bounced around with family members since then, but we’d like to help put an end to this cycle for Tank. Do you like to cuddle in bed? Tanky-panky is your boy! He’s a master. He also knows several commands. Tank is 100% house trained and can be somewhat selective with other dogs. Some of this is due to being shy, so we have a trainer who would like to help boost his confidence. He has seen a vet recently and has no health concerns. Tank is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested, microchipped and current on flea/tick prevention. Tank does well when walked on leash by himself and if you have other dogs, we would want to appropriately introduce him to make sure all goes smoothly. At 75 pounds, he’s a large dog, but with the exception of occasional zoomies, he’s more often a low-energy, laid back dog. Tank is even good with cats! Henry is a laid-back kind of guy. He does love to play, cuddle and chew his giant bones. He will require lots of room to run, especially with a friend that will play with him. Nova is a friendly 3 year old German Shepherd. She has a lot of energy and would benefit from a lot of attention and excels when given a task or purpose. Nova is a roamer so would be best at a home with a fenced in yard. Nova is mainly an outside dog but has spent time inside and is house trained.

Armani (also known as Sissy Pants, Puppy, Poppy, Gremlin, Bad Bunny, and SBP) got her name because HUGS took her on knowing of her mega-E diagnosis, and much like her designer namesake, we knew she was going to be expensive!  Armani was surrendered to rescue at only 11 weeks old - the backyard breeder tried to bait and switch the buyers with Armani over the puppy they had already chosen, and when that didn't work, gave Armani to them for free. The buyers immediately realized something was wrong, and Armani was diagnosed with Mega-E two days after they got her. When they contacted the breeder and were told Armani would be put down if they returned her, thankfully they found us. Even by Shepherd standards, Armani is smart. Her first Bailey chair was built the same day she was rescued, and by her third meal in it, she had started jumping on her chair when she saw her foster mama making her food! The first few days with Armani, she was fairly low energy and restrained, likely from lack of nutrition. She began perking up quickly, and is definitely the life of the party now, acting every bit a 'normal' puppy! Shoes and socks were not safe around Puppy for months, but she has recently discovered how tasty kitchen towels can be! Armani is very much a typical puppy - full of energy, always ready to play (even after a 4 mile hike!!), and wildly curious about the world around her.  Armani has excelled at training, knowing sit, stay, how to get into her chair at mealtime, and great leash manners for her age. She's been well socialized thanks to her foster brother and two foster sisters, and has learned how to read and respect other dog personalities, everything from grumpy old man dog to crazy zoomie wrestling sister dogs. Regarding her Mega-E diagnosis: while Armani has congenital, generalized Mega-E, meaning she's not a surgical candidate, her condition is well managed without medication and only needing 15 minutes of upright time after meals. She has earned the nickname 'Diva' from her backup fosters who watch her when Mom travels because her food and feeding preferences change with no rhyme or reason. Sometimes she eats her entire meal from her bowl, sometimes she demands to be spoon or handfed (extra fun when feeding her special recipe mush!) Similarly, she normally gets a 'mush' recipe, but at times will refuse, wanting canned salmon, raw meatballs, or straight dry kibble. She does not tolerate water well, so she gets gelatinized chicken broth cubes. Armani is very much a pack dog - she first left her mom with her littermate, and has since grown up with a pack of three GSDs. She's far more timid when she goes somewhere alone, but will gain confidence if adopted as an only dog to someone who puts in the training time. She is incredibly bonded to her humans - if foster mom is working from home, she will happily spend the whole day perched on the arm of the couch next to mom's desk dropping toys on mom and breathing in mom's ear. His personality is always happy. He will never say no to a nice walk, run, or playing in the yard. He loves kids and is patient with them, but doesn't always remember how big he is, and can knock them over. He does well on walks and is working on not pulling when he gets excited. He does okay with cats and leaves them alone in his foster home, unless they provoke him. Bones and stuffed animals are his favorite things to play with. He is working on kennel training and has made good progress, but still isn't a fan of it and currently uses a heavy duty crate. Because of that, Cosmo would do best with someone who is home a lot.
